Handy hotel directly on the motorway with plenty of parking & large rooms. Well maintained & clean with nice bathroom. Burger king & self service buffet restaurant on site. Liked - Ice machine, polite staff, good central location. Disliked - Room and bathroom too hot in summer, no option for second fan. Housekeeping left door to room wide open for hours with our stuff in the room. Shower wouldnt drain, had tobhave maintenance plung it. Overall - it was ok, but would not stay at again.

Breakfast choices were very good. This hotel is at a “travel plaza”, what US residents would call a “truck stop”. The restaurant at the plaza, Marche, offers a wide range of fresh cooked food, salads, etc. There is also a small Co-op grocery. We chose this hotel because it was on the route of a walking trail we wished to explore, and were pleased with the accommodations and the ease of walking to Sempach. It is not on public transportation but we easily got car service from the train station at Emmenbrucke.

The property was overall okay to stay in and the breakfast was fine too. However, the rooms were dirty and all linen covers, bedsheets had marks and stains. The rooms don’t have the AC in them so they are quite hot and difficult to stay in for longer. Also, the phone charging stations in the hotel lobby area do not work at all so we had to buy a new adaptor for our iphones.

We are a family of 5 (with teens) and we stayed in the Holiday Inn Express for our stopover on the way to Italy. The hotel was super clean, modern and an easy location for the motorways. It did have food avail for lunch/dinner but we didn't have it so can't comment on the quality of it but did have the continental breakfast which was very good. We would have no hesitation rebooking.

Somwhat affordable near Lucerne, about CHF40 if you take an Uber each way to get to the Lucerne city center. I loved having a Coop next door, as well as a dining option. You can also order food in, and the staff will help you with utensils. Ice machine in the lobby free for use was a bonus. The bad: not very clean. There was mildew by the bathroom sink and around the shower glass doors. The bathroom also had a faint smell of urine, which you could also smell from the room. The bedroom is also very small for 3 people. Ok for a night ot two, I guess.

Our room was not clean at all! Dogshi…. On the carpet and the curtons, sink in the bathroom was detached, water went right on the floor! We mentioned it at the desk, answer: come back tomorrow and ask for another room, but not earlier than 9AM cause we wont have anything ready before and you can‘t get into the new room before 4PM!!!!! We did keep our room, i fixed the sink…… cleaning was terrible, we stayed two weeks, all they did is, make the bed and bring new towels and toilett paper, that was it, wat a terrible experience. We wont come back!

Great and convenient place to overnight on our way to Italy. Comfortable beds, crisp linen, breakfast that offered anything you‘d want including potent coffee. It is literally on the motorway, with easy parking just outside the door. Accessible building and showers. Very clean. Staff was super nice.

Be aware that there is no air conditioning. They did provide us with a small fan but if you go in summer this is good to know because it was difficult to cool down the room enough to sleep. Breakfast was excellent and the weekend desk help in the morning was great! Her English was excellent and she was kind enough to explain what we needed to know. There is a market/restaurant nearby and beautiful walking/bike trails so that you can enjoy the countryside even though you are close to Luzern.

Foi excelente!!!! Na primeira noite o quarto estava com cheiro de cigarro, mas s recepcionista Sheila (uma excelente pessoa!!) logo nos colocou em outro quarto no dia seguinte. Café da manhã incrível!! Ótima localização com Burger king e mercado coop na porta do hotel. Ele fica na estrada, mas como alugamos um carro, não tivemos problemas.

NO AC the small fan doesn’t help. room too small. Shower door keep leak water. Front desk never answer phone call. Called 3 times at different date. Never answered. After get back to hotel I asked why no one answer phone call the employee said she is here by herself and she is busy. No shuttle bus. Uber drive doesn’t come to this area. Take 15 mins walk to bus station. Never stay this hotel again.

Accolti da un receptionist non all'altezza. Ci ha dato una camera sbagliata rispetto alla prenotazione fatta. Abbiamo dormito in 3 in 2 letti singoli! Il giorno del check out l'altra receptionist bionda ancora peggio. Incapace, cafona e maleducata. Ha addebitato 12€ di tassa di soggiorno contro i 4€ indicati sulla prenotazione. Staff assolutamente terribile e non adeguato. Purtroppo per l'hotel con queste persone perde clienti..... non tornerò più. Sconsigliato.

When booked I did not realise that the hotel was in a service station and not where I would normally choose to stay. However, the reception staff really made it a pleasure to stay. Although the services facilities did look that it had good food and drink, we had been driving for 6 hours and wanted to be somewhere quite, the reception girls let us out of the back gate and we drove 10 mi s to the nearest village where we found a lovely wee bistro. The hotel was clean and well maintained and well worth the money.

The location of this hotel IS NOT in Lucerne. If one is not renting a car, there is no easy way to reach the hotel. Ubers don’t serve this area and there are no train or bus connections. Very deceptive.

Hotel com preços convidativos, quartos limpos, bom atendimento e bom café da manhã. Porém não eh adequado a quem não está de carro. O transporte público não eh próximo. Há duas opções: andar cerca de 2km a pé até a estação de ônibus mais próxima ou pegar um Uber para Lucerna (aprox. 40CHF) ou para o metrô mais próximo (CHF 15). Mas há o risco de não conseguir corrida (nos aconteceu em um dos dias). Isto encarece o custo diário e dificulta a volta em dias em que chega-se mais tarde.

No airconditioning present, and albeit Swiss doesn’t have much hot days, they don’t give a discount for inconvenience on the days it is hot. Dinner options are next to none, Burger King and Marche are your only -expensive- options. € 30,- for a menu or € 25,- for a schnitzel with a kids portion fries and no other supplements like veggies. Holiday Inn has no dinner options, breakfast is basic but fine. Beware, Expedia indicaties a 50 Swiss Francs fee for pets, but the hotel charges 65 on the spot.

A really good Hotel in a great and convenient location. The only small negative is the "freshness" of the foods on offer for breakfast. Suffice to say that the Hams and Cheeses presented could not have been prepared that morning _ they were so hard, dry and bland that they were quite awful.

It’s a little outside of Lucerne, so be prepared to have a car specifically for this location. Transportation isn’t nearby or walkable and the Ubers are expensive! Other than that, it was awesome to have free breakfast and a bunch of dining options so close by on the shared property. The room and bathroom were large and clean!
