Leonardo Royal Hotel Mallorca

Great location and found the staff on reception and in general all week to be excellent and helpful - great that there are a couple of blocks and options in terms of pool areas and bars - only slight issue we found is lifts and waiting - because of the split between buildings and separate lifts for getting to beach and main pool, you often have to wait for multiple trips for lift whixh are also really small so if you have a baby and pram like we did you cant fit or share with others so often had to wait quite a while to get a free and empty lift to get to lobby and then to get down to pool

Wij hebben een fijne verblijf gehad echter wel een aantal aandachtspunten die we liever van te voren hadden willen weten. Parkeren was een hel! Ik had het hotel speciaal geselecteerd omdat er een parkeerplaats aanwezig zou zijn. Helaas bestaat deze uit 7/8 parkeerplaatsen wat niet voldoende is en hele tijd ook vol was omgeving parkeren was ook drama heel vaak 30 min rondjes moeten rijden met de hoop dat iemand wegreed. Daarnaast zijn de liften heel traag zelfs de deur van de lift gaat enorm traag open. En als laatste verbeterpunt we hebben er 3 nachten verbleven en twee dagen moeten bellen en vragen om handdoeken die niet aanwezig waren. Voor de rest prima hotel heel mooi uitzicht en perfecte ligging!

While the hotel is 4* our room certainly wasn’t. The size was great and so was the view. However the furniture was shabby, the sink had a big chip and the hairdryer blew only cold air. There was no aircon so we had to leave the door open to the balcony which kept banging shut if it was breezy. Also one night the guests below were smoking weed on their balcony so we had to shut the door. The pool area is great but hard to find a sunbed because despite the hotel policy, guests were reserving beds with towels and then using them for maybe an hour that day. The hotel is on a steep hill and for us it’s a bit too close to Magaluf. There are many lovely restaurants and bars in the area and the beach is fantastic. If you can afford it, go for the junior suite, the balcony is amazing!

Pool area at bottom was very shaded by huge tree, not enough sunbeds and too many reserved and unused.

Tutto perfetto. Camere belle e pulite. Posizione ottima fronte mare. Vista spettacolare. Anche la piscina è sul mare e, secondo me cosa più importante, si ha accesso diretto alla spiaggia di sabbia fine e mare cristallino dopo una brevissima passerella. Cibo vario di media qualità, (noi italiani siamo un po' difficili in questo). Se devo trovare uno svantaggio, non c'è parcheggio presso l'hotel (solo 5 posti) però c'è un parcheggio municipale gratuito a 10 minuti a piedi

Well located property, clean, friendly staff. Only "problem" is there aren\'t enough lifts for the number of guests.

Upon arrival we was taken to the wrong hotel, as it was poorly signed, please take note that there is the sister hotel down the road, we then went to the correct hotel. Check in was chaos, the stuff was stressed, understaffed and rude, we were promised an early check in as I messaged the hotel prior. We then arrived at 10:30am, and then we couldn’t check in, was promised if we come back at 12:00noon we could get in our room, we had been up since 2am, went back at 12, no luck we didn’t get into our room until 4pm, even when check in ‘opens’ at 3. We then was put in another building across the road. The room itself which was a family apartment and the pictures did NOT match. The room was completely different to the pictures online, the hotel was as well, the only thing what matched was the view. The pressure on the shower was shocking and went hot and cold. The sunbeds by the pool is like a war, the pool supposedly opens at 7am, but the 5 days we was there people had towels down even earlier than this and sunbathing and there was physically no room for everyone staying at the hotel. The second pool in the building we were staying in was in complete shade and didn’t get any form of sun so everyone uses the main pool. If you have a late flight you can’t get a late check out there is a long lost and they charge 80 euros, the shower facilities are disgusting and smelt damp and you can tell they have not been cleaned, definitely not a 4* hotel!

Abbiamo soggiornato gli ultimi 10 giorni di agosto in questa struttura e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il personale merita sicuramente 5 stelle: sono gentili, disponibili e pronti a risolvere ogni problema. Una menzione in particolare a Santiago che ci ha strappato un sorriso per tutta la vacanza ed è stato molto professionale. La posizione è incredibile: l'hotel è praticamente sulla spiaggia, a pochi passi da locali, ristoranti e servizi principali. Assolutamente da migliorare la pulizia e la manutenzione della camera. Entrambe non sono all'altezza di un hotel 4 stelle. Al check-in la camera era già sporca.

Positiv: Einzig der Standort ist wirklich traumhaft Die Lobby macht zunächst einen ordentlichen Eindruck (Wir waren mit Freunden zusammen dort, bei 8 Personen und 7 Nächten, möchte man sich zumindest ein wenig wohlfühlen) Negativ: Die Zimmer sind in einem katastrophalen Zustand und haben nichts mit den Fotos im Internet gemein. Von 4 Sternen kann hier keine Rede sein. Familienzimmer: Loch im Boden, Schränke alt, kaputt und verdreckt, rostige Spiegel, schimmlige Dusche, starker Modergeruch. Ameisen im Zimmer , sogar im Bett und Schrank. Kühlschrank defekt, Wände voller Haar- und Klebereste, Bettwäsche mit Haaren. Ein Zimmerwechsel brachte kaum Besserung ,die Schäden sind schlicht systematisch und nicht die Schuld des Housekeepings, sondern fehlender Instandhaltung. Badezimmergeruch nach Gulli jeden Morgen. Frühstück: wirkt abgestanden, da es am Vorabend vorbereitet wird. Unappetitliche Präsentation, Rührei ungenießbar. Freunde, die zeitgleich dort waren, berichteten von demselben Zustand, inklusive Matratzen, die so stark stanken, dass es im ganzen Zimmer wahrnehmbar war. Fazit: Dieses Hotel ist eine Zumutung. Der Zustand der Zimmer ist unhygienisch, heruntergekommen und schlichtweg inakzeptabel. Was hier als „4-Sterne-Hotel“ verkauft wird, grenzt an Täuschung. Selbst nach Zimmerwechsel bleibt das Bild gleich: Schimmel, Gestank, Schädlingsbefall und marode Einrichtung. Wir waren nur dank der schönen Lage nicht komplett enttäuscht ,aber: niemals wieder!!!

The hotel room and communal areas were filthy dirty. The room was musty; the bedding smelt unwashed, we found hairs all around the bathroom and the furniture was chipped/dented wherever you looked. In the minibar we found a half drunk bottle of water. We choose to checkout after one night and move to another property. The manager could only offer us a deep clean of our existing room or to move to a room with a worse view. We lost one nights stay even though we arrived at 1am and checked out by 9:30. We did appreciate the hotel agreeing to refund the rest of the nights that we did not stay at the property.

Room was dirty and smelled moldy. Staff at the bar was very disrespectful. I would not stay here again.

Das Essen war von der Auswahl und vom Geschmack hervorragend. Leider hat der Rest des Hotels zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Es ist verwohnt und unsauber. Wir haben unser Zimmer gewechselt, da eine halbe Orange und leere Getränkedosen bei Anreise im Schrank lagen. Zudem waren überall Haare. Auch nach dem Zimmerwechsel waren überall Haare. Im neuen Zimmer mussten wir das Bett selbst beziehen, sowas habe ich in einem Hotel noch nie erlebt. Der Ausblick von den Zimmern aufs Meer ist sehr schön, durch die Lautstärke von den umliegenden Hotels leider kaum zu genießen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

The room cleaning and the wifi was very poor, they only fixed the beds, for 7 days the bedsheets were never changed.

The rooms were disgusting. Mold in the bathroom. My friends room smelled horrible like mildew. The drawers were missing knobs.

Very clean and tidy

Accueil de nuit super avec petites attentions ( collations diverses ), chambre avec vue partielle sur la mer très jolie, petit dej et diner variés et pour tout les gouts. Le parking est très très petit, une dizaine de places de voiture environ, il faut chercher autour une place gratuite, ce qui n’est pas évident déjà pour un mois d’avril. Emplacement de l’hôtel magnifique ainsi que la piscine. Au niveau du ménage, le balai n’est jamais passé dommage !!! je pense que c’est un des points négatifs avec le parking.

Room 702 Nice location and nice view. Lacking of service elevator/lift for staff is a disaster for everyone! Very disturbing vibrations going down in the walls from roof top machinery for ventilation all night. No good if you are on holiday for some rest and sleep... You will soon have a mayor problem with water leakage in the bathroom. The pastic wall carpet is coming off. Friendly and fast service in reception and houskeeping. Thks Urban Kallstrom

Big hotel. Rooms very shabby We had a deluxe sea view room x3 and all were very shabby Hotel food was nice. But very canteen feel. Chaos in there. The location was absolutely perfect stunning are. Pool was good but agaij needs renovating

Svært lytt mlm rommene. Familierom rett under terrassebar. Wifi dårlig. Ellers et greit hotell med god mat og vennlig personale. Vårt rom virket nedslitt. Savnet også klesstativ på terassen!

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, direkt am Strand und die Aussicht ist hervorragend. Wir hatten zuerst ein Zimmer, was komisch roch, da es wohl einen Wasserschaden im Nebenzimmer gab, aber wir haben sofort ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Leider bekommt man am Pool keine Liegen, da die Hotelgäste schon um 7:30 Uhr dort stehen und sofort losrennen sobald der Pool geöffnet hat.. leider gibt es für das grosse Hotel viel zu wenig Platz und Liegen. Die Aufzüge brauchen ewig lang und sind auch nicht gross und das Essen war auch nicht das Beste.. aber wir würden trotzdem wieder in das Hotel kommen, denn im großen und ganzen war es ein wirklich toller Urlaub und Essen kann man auch in vielen Strandrestaurants ;) Hotel super, super Lage und wirklich sehr nettes Personal

Perfekt läge med nära till stranden, Magaluf, restauranger och barer. Vi beställde och fick rum med 2 rum då vi var 3 personer med havsutsikt och den var verkligen vacker. Vi upptäckte snabbt på kvällen att rummet var precis under rooftop baren. Från 20.00 till 00.30 hördes stolarna som skrapade i golvet från baren. 2 nätter klarade vi sen fick vi byta rum till ett mindre men utan ljud iallafall. På det nya rummet var toastolen lite lös men det va inte hela världen. Det som var de värsta där var avloppslukten då förmodligen var det inte tätt mellan avlopp och toastolen. Vi sa till direkt men de "löste" det med att städa med starkt medel. Det höll till kvällen. På morgonen luktade det igen en fruktansvärt stank. Hade det inte varit för våra rum så hade jag gett mycket högre betyg. Personalen var hjälpsamma och frukosten var bra.

Had a lovely stay at Leonardo Royal Hotel Mallorca. The staff were super helpful and the food was great with lots of variety for breakfast and dinner. The rooms were really spacious and super clean. I also loved how close you were to the beach and lovely bars nearby. My only issue was the other guests reserving sun beds with towels. We ended up going to the beach because we couldn't get a sun lounger by the pool because everyone had reserved them and gone to breakfast or town for the morning. This wasn't policed by the hotel even though it was a policy

Das Zimmer ist modern, jedoch kann der Spiegel am Schrank und das Waschbecken ausgewechselt werden, da diese defekt sind und in der Dusche bei der Glasfront könnte unten mal richtig geputzt werden. Ansonsten gibt es keine weiteren beanstandungen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und vom Buffet gibt es garnichts auszusetzten, einfach top.

The Hotel and catering staff were good. We did not have any complaints during our stay. The selection of food in the hotel at meal times was very good also. (keep up the good work Santiago along with the rest of the catering team). The star quality must be given to to the entertainers that do there best to keep the entertainment moving throughout the day and some evenings, as well as keeping the children excited. They also provided kids activities each day with set times for each, that was always on time. In the evenings there was entertainment put on for kids and for adults. Different shows by entertainers or singers that are brought into the hotel also. The area is very good, with lots of things to do around. The beaches are extremely clean with clear waters and golden sand. Very popular beaches next to the hotel that are not noisy and only 2-3min walk. If I had to pick some down sides, some areas were lacking four star quality that could be rectified with a refreshment of paint and maintenance. Second there was no system for getting a pool side seat, with people coming at the opening time of 10am and finding that all seats had been taken with peoples towels left of them (same a most hotels). However, the pool location by the sea is fantastic and has the sun all day long with a good view. Thanks Room 106

Hotel was average, sadly a few staff were not overly pleasant, especially the guy on the outside snack bar. I ordered a ham and tomato sandwich, he made it with cheese,i said nicely that this wasnt what id ordered and he threw it in bin in anger, slammed the plate down and made a rude remark to me. Wouldnt go back.

It was a great stay at the hotel; everything we wanted for a short break. Staff were very helpful. We arrived at 2am and checked in no problems.

L'hotel è bello, vista mare, il mio giudizio risente di un episodio per me assurdo: è previsto il check out per le 10:30, in genere c'è sempre un pò di flessibilità. In ogni caso è vero che io sono stata in ritardo di un'ora e comunque parliamo di un soggiorno di 1 settimana in mezza pensione, non di 1 notte. È salita una signora dalla reception, Petra, per letteralmente cacciarmi di camera. Pur avendole spiegato che avevo bisogno di tempo aggiuntivo per finire i bagagli perché non mi ero sentita bene, ha iniziato ad alta voce, in corridoio, ad urlare e, con tanto di gesto con il braccio mi ha intimato di lasciare la camera entro 10 minuti. Avrei capito un addebito (l'hotel prevede per il check-out entro le 15 un costo di 40€, rapportato ad un'ora parliamo di meno di 10€), ciò che è intollerabile è questo comportamento di un personale di hotel 4*, anche perché c'erano ancora tante camere da sistemare. La signora in questione e tutte le altre della reception che quando ci hanno visti si sono tra di loro messe a borbottare davanti ad altri clienti non sono adeguate ai rapporti con la clientela per quel tipo di struttura.Non avranno più l'onore di rivederci. Tra l'altro il personale quando si tratta di altri orari ha un comportamento diverso: iniziano a togliere il buffet dei pasti mezz'ora prima, lettini e ombrelloni della piscina 2 ore prima.Per gli altri aspetti: pulizia superficiale delle camere e difficoltà di parcheggio. Ottima la colazione, cena da migliorare come sapori

My daughters and I stayed @ the Leonardo Royal for 4 nights and enjoyed our time there. Wonderful breakfast buffet to start the day, friendly staff, beautiful views, property is pretty, walk to restaurants or supermercado. We taxied to different parts of Mallorca during the day and were happy to come back to the Leonardo.

It was very good we enjoyed it a lot the staff was very helpful specially at the reception loved them a lot hope seeing them again and visiting the hotel again very thing went well.

This hotel is exceptionslly well located - about 30min from the airport, right at the se front, in a quiet enough area but very close to very many bars and restaurants. Staff are all absolutely lovely and very helpful. The swimming pool and the swimming deck are excellent, with stairs to go swimming in the sea from the deck, an amazing infinity and children's pool with a life guard on duty. Very importantly, there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols for everyone. The pool bar could run a little better and the quality and selection of food can be improved but it wasn't bad. Our room was clean and perfectly functional, albeit a little bit tired. A good painter & decorator could bring it up to really good standard in a day. We went to hotel restaurant for breakfast one morning. There was a wide selection of foods but €52 for two adults and a child was extremely expensive for a hotel standard buffet. For comparison, it is possible to have much better breakfast at any of the nearby restaurants for around €35. All in all, we would go back to this hotel and have enjoyed our stay there. The room was very good value for money.

Lovely hotel on the cliff, great location overlooking the bay, close to the beach and local restaurants; not too noisy compared to closeby Magaluf. Very good food for a buffer, different every day, friendly staff. Price ok and very nice room with view of sea&pool (deluxe). Friendly, comfortable atmosphere, easy to reach by local bus from Palma airport. I'll definitely return.

Amazing location with perfect sea view. Quite place and at the same time you are in 1-2 minutes to all the mail activities:bar, restaurants, beaches.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille au sein de cet hôtel ! Le personnel est très accueillant et agréable. La nourriture est bonne et variée ! La piscine et l’accès direct à la plage sont parfait !

The Hotel is in a fantastic location right on the water at the end of the beach. Staff and service was good and the upgraded room we had was also very good. The entertainment was a bit poor and the food was average. Overall reasonably good value for money.

Ich mag Palmanova. Manchmal sind noch ein paar Magaluf-Feiernde da, die ich jetzt nicht bräuchte. Das Hotel hat alles für einen unkomplizierten und angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Excellent séjour, l’hôtel est très bien situé et la vue est imprenable, le buffet est varié et un grand merci au chef Karim et à Afia qui ont été au top durant tout le séjour et ont contribué pleinement à rendre nos vacances mémorables. Tout le personnel est irréprochable, cependant les chambres étaient quelques fois mal faites ou bâclées. Je recommande, et nous avons hâte d’y retourner !!!!

Das Essen war durchweg wirklich furchtbar, die Zimmer hellhörig und teilweise wurde auch nicht richtig geputzt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr bemüht aber das hat es insgesamt nicht aufwerten können

Everything was outstanding. Staff, food, bars, location, loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Tolles hotel, nettes Personal und das Essen war hervorragend

Något slitet hotell och rummen kunde städas bättre. Vi hade all inclusive och under all kritik att man inte kunde få vatten på flaska på rummen utan vi fick köpa det själv. Vatten har alltid ingått på andra all inclusive hotell. Detta hotellet svarade med att man kunde dricka vatten i restaurangen men hur gör man när man är utanför restaurangen. Det var förbjudet att fylla på från egen flaska i restaurangen. Maten var ok men alltid osaltat och smaklös.

I didn't like that AI wasn't really AI, cos with alcoholdrinks you still need to pay with every purchase. Cost was not that much, but would be easier if AI price would be bit bigger so that you don't need to give that 2€ every time you want to take a drink.

Hôtel qui mériterait son 4* s\'il était un peu plus entretenu car la situation et les équipements sont top. Le buffet est très bien et varié. La piscine et la proximité de la plage sont un vrai plus. Les informations communiquées par le personnel (qui est toutefois fort sympathique) ne sont pas claires notamment en ce qui concerne le "all inclusive" mais on y passe quand même un excellent séjour.
