Our favorite vacation spt with an actual hot tub thats hot and an indoor pool thats acutal

The property was clean and all staff pleasant. Breakfast was warm and delicious and the view from cafe was beautiful. Room was clean and well stocked. The pool and fitness center hours were good. The only down side was some fitness equipment was old and poorly maintained. The pool, hot tub, sauna were clean and enjoyable. We received a rollaway bed. Great condition and easy request. Overall a wonderful experience for myself and kids.

Nice, sprawling hotel on the beautiful river leading into Lake Ontario. Great indoor/outdoor bar area on the water. The bartender was friendly, and made a delicious Old Fashioned. Only complaint is the toilet didn’t work. Assuming they could get to it right away, I didn’t want to have to deal with a plumber when I was getting ready to go to sleep. I was by myself, so I just dealt with it. I know toilets break sometimes. But I’ve experienced this same issue several times recently at different hotels, and it’s never a good thing — especially now that hotels are so incredibly expensive. The front desk lady, however, was very empathetic and responsive when I told her about it the next morning when I checked out. All in all, a nice place to stay.

This hotel is located in the perfect spot. Walking distance to lots of places. It is right on the river. The pool and breakfast was great. Front desk was extremely helpful.

Pros: hotel & room were clean, has a decent breakfast, staff was very informative & helpful. Was quiet for the most part. Cons: for the pool area - as a hotel guest you aren’t allowed to use the captains club locker rooms. Which allows only one bathroom for every family that’s getting ready in & out of the pool area. There is only enough toiletries in a room for one person. (As a family of 4, staying multiple nights we needed to keep asking for more) We put the ‘make up room’ doorknob sign & that was skipped over by the housekeepers so I’m not sure why that was. On our last night, we were woken up every few hours from intoxicated groups of people who were yelling and laughing in the hallways. I would go here again, aware of circumstances. It was pretty good minus slight inconveniences.

This was a very nice hotel. Loved the restaurant, pool and hot tub. The front person was very helpful. If you get a room overlooking the water it is lovely at night.

I do like this hotel and have stayed several times. Rooms are clean and views are beautiful any time of year. Only complaint is the beverage center at breakfast this time was gross. Water pitcher had warm water and dirt spots all over it on a not busy morning. I love the pool and hot tub but the chlorine was a little unbearable in the hot tub. Otherwise i love it there and will continue to stay there when im in the area.

We were in town for Harborfest It served the purpose for a place to rest up inbetween, cool off in AC and swim in the pool. The breakfast had a lot of choices. The wall Paper was coming off a few parts of the walls and they were not accommodating at all with early or late check outs but it was a busy weekend.

Hotel was good. The layout of the building was a little odd but the pool and hot tub was nice, breakfast was good and overall comfort of the room was good.

Very nice heated pool, hot tub, and even a sauna! Comfortable beds too. We had a nice time here.

The room was ok. Looked like house keeping was in a hurry. There was tooth paste drizzle left on the bathroom mirror which is quite gross. The balcony was nice. The staff very friendly and helpful. I asked for something to clean the bathroom mirror and the one who seemed to be in charge offered to send house keeping to do it but I said I can handle it. They were apologetic about it.

On the river. Very pretty area. The hotel was okay but the room was very dusty. They didn't clean the room the first day. The next day they did, but didn't make the beds. Word.

The view of the river is great. Otherwise, the room smells like stale smoke. The carpet is stained and when I pulled out the night table to plug in my phone it was filthy back there. The pillows are lumpy, and generally the whole place smells like stale smoke.

We had an issue with our room on the first night. The staff at the desk was terrible dealing with it. The following day the day staff was very helpful. Very uncomfortable first night of sleeping. The hotel didn’t compensate enough off our stay. There were ants in our room the first night and it should have been handled properly!!

Found bed bugs an was charged twice for room an yet to be refunded!

Check in was at 3. We arrived at 4:30 our room wasn't ready. They told us it would be readyby 5. Left and came back at 5:10. Still not ready. Was told they were checking on it it was probably clean just not in system. Told them to call me when it was ready. Well came back at 6 and finally got a room. Was highly disappointed with the room. Dirty carpet lots of stains. Dusty tabels. Just not impressed with the hotel.

Paid almost $400/night. The room was not clean. Dusty vents and ceiling.

It was in a good location. Very dusty and hair in the tub.

Smelled so bad like cigarette smoke Did not smell fresh

Our view was fabulous from our small but cute balcony. The bed was really comfortable. The sheets were very warm, definitely not cotton. The location was nice, very walkable, and vlose to water.

Cable and Internet was intermittent. Breakfast was exceptionally nice . Comfortable beds , beautiful views !

Furniture very worn/ falling apart. 2 towels for 2 king room. Nice view of the river though.

We loved the extra large shower and huge riverview balcony. The room decor was pleasant and loved the beds and pillows. We do wished there were more than 2 balcony chairs, since there was 3 of us, but it was not a huge defeat. Their indoor pool room is one of the best features of the hotel, especially for us traveling with our 7 year old daughter. We travel often and this setup was awesome! There was good music playing, a separate area with overhead fans to relax under, and the pool and hot tub were in perfect temperature! That's hard to find! The restaurant and bar downstairs from our room was busy, although we didn't eat there this time, we will next time. We ordered delivery from Cam's pizza and devoured the best white pizza we've ever eaten. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, inviting, and we felt safe. When we come this way again, we will definitely stay! As a Director of Operations for two hotels in the 1000 islands, i was impressed. I was less than impressed with the front desk staff, which is the first impression, unfortunately. We were stuck listening to how well she knew another person in the office. I was given zero instructions on wifi, checkout time, pool hours (although i asked) and terrible directions to find the room. Eye contact was never made and we were so excited to finally get here. That was a sour point. A guest actually helped us find the room. Luckily, the rest of the staff, the room, property and amenities carried it all the way for us!

Love this hotel. The inconvenience was our TV didn't work and wasn't programmed. We were offered to a different room and the inn keeper was very kind about it but it was late so we stuck it out.

Nice big clean room with large balcony. Very quit with a party going on just below.

The hotel itself is perfect. But there is a restaurant right under the windows of the hotel. There was a very loud music emanating from this restaurant the entire evening. There is also an open area theater across the river. They had a concert that lasted since 3.00PM till 9.00PM. I do not want to comment about the quality of this so-called music, but it was extremely loud. I understand that it is not the hotel staff's fault, but I would never stay there again. But the hotel itself (and the staff) was wonderful.

There were no towel racks except one small one in bathroom to hang wet towels. Never saw such an inefficient bathroom. Space use was terrible. The remote for the TV was a total disaster and impossible to use for a savvy person like myself. The most frustrating device ever and ruined my stay to see news at this important time. The view of the river was some compensation as was the little balcony made the room unusual. But something has to be done with that bathroom for towels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a room with 2 king beds, the room was huge and had a great view.

It was fine but my issue is their was a prom one of the nights we stayed . We were never notified and our room was above the ballroom. It was so noisy and the floor was vibrating. Asked to speak to a manger and staff said they don’t have one to speak to till Monday morning .For $500 a night they should warn you about a prom.

Check in was smooth and cery pleasant. Beautiful views. Convenient for walking to resturants.

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice welcome staff….however….right n the middle of my morning shower we lost all water. When we called they said it was a maintenance issue and had no idea what the problem was or when it would be resolved. So we packed up and checked out ( me with my hair full of shampoo) when asked if we would be compensated for the inconvenience, the clerk offered a late check-out. Nobody bothered to call and inform us of that prior to our departure…..

We’ve stayed at this hotel many times. We were upgraded to a larger room upon check-in and could not have been happier. Staff is always kind and welcoming

I desired early check-in, but there were not rooms available...which I totally understand. I was told I would get a phone call as soon as the room was ready. Then others in our group (basketball parents) arrived (hours later)and were able to check in right away. I went back to the front desk and was told that rooms were not ready. I did not want to make a big fuss. I just didn't understand. Supposedly, my room type was not ready. Another hour later I checked...no room ready. Never did I receive a call, but finally six hours (plus) after my arrival, I was able to get a room. And then this room still was not the correct type!! Like....what the heck??

The front desk staff was amazing, specially Sarah (kudos to you). Everything was seamless and exceeded expectations with this stay. It is rare to actually have an “above expectations” experience these days, but somehow they did so. I would go back in a heartbeat if my travels bring me to Oswego again. Keep up the good work!

The frint desk associate was amzing for our check in. I believe it was Tyler. He is aqesome.

The housekeeping staff were excellent! We only had the coffee. And that was great!! We heard everyone saying how wonderful the breakfast was. Not much to say about the night desk clerks. Not friendly in any way. We asked for a wakeup call, and never received one. Almost missed our plane. Everything else was absolutely the best!!!

Loved the location, I stayed there before and always had great experience. It’s located walking distance to restaurants.

Good off-season, short trip venue. The location between river and lake and a few blocks to downtown was ideal.

Beautiful and wonderful breakfast!

This is our second time staying here. Our room and river view were great, but unlike the first time we did not have a balcony. Our room had two towels which is never enough when paying a good dollar. Breakfast and coffee situation was fine except for the lack of bacon or sausage, just offering corn beef hash instead. My wife liked the corned beef, but I don't like potatoes in it.

Clean hotel, friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was decent, but the specialty coffee machine was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was amazing. Their coffee machine is awesome! The pool could definitely be warmer. Our boys had blue lips shortly after starting our swim. The views of the river are great. Definitely would stay again

Hotel is nice enough. The staff were very friendly. The facilities felt like its from the 1980s or 1990s. The restaurant LP was a real disappointment. I'm not sure if its part of the hotel but we ended up leaving because they wouldn't seat anyone even though the place was mostly empty. Room is on the small side.

I stayed for 3 nights and room wasn’t cleaned once the entire stay. Hotel restaurant dinner was one of the worst dinners ever!
