This property is peerless. We didn’t golf but the pool and spa were just flat amazing. I have never seen such a variety of cutting edge technology in a pool area. Indoor pool is warm with two hot tubs with a huge variety of jet options. There is a bucket deluge, special showers with light shows and jets, steam, sauna and beautiful finishes and furnishings. The staff is attentive and accommodating from the valet to the wait and housekeeping staff. The management is in contact to make sure you are happy and the grounds are stunning. The beach access on property was closed due to erosion but a short drive had parking and a secluded, cliffside beach that was amazing. We drive into Nazare and the nearby town for incredible meals but I’m sure the onsite restaurants are also great. The breakfast buffet was first class with everything you would want plus sparkling wine! I have been to top properties around the world but this place is special. We will be back!

Fantastic property. A true 5 star accommodation. The staff go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. The spa area of pool, hot tub, steam and sauna were just wonderful. Buffet breakfast was delicious and had an abundant of choices. Right on the beach it was peaceful and beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the BEST hotels I have EVER been to and I have traveled in many countries. The view is breathtaking, the hotel is glamorous with a beautiful pool, beautiful indoor pool and spa area. The hotel is close to ac harming medieval town called Obidos which has excellent restaurants. It is not far from FATIMA which is the most extraordinary spiritual journey of my life. You MUST go to this hotel. And the morning breakfast is TEN STAR!

I didnt like that they changed the indoor pool hours for children. I choose this hotel to enjoy the indoor pool with ny kids. One day before my check in i was sent an email stating the new hours for the pool. I had to change around my plans so they can have a bit of time in the pool.

The room are amenities are not very clean and smelly. Lots of flies during the stay. Paid for a so called “Italian buffet dinner” for over 81 euro. Food choices and quality of food are terrible. The worst meal I have ever experienced in a hotel. Foods are not fresh and some even smelly. Me and my wife only tried a small handful of foods and left in 20 mins. I believe Marriot group should look into the management of this hotel seriously!

Just returned from 8 days at the hotel with my wife and two older teenagers. The hotel was excellent all round. The location was picture postcard stuff, the rooms spacious, comfortable and quiet. It was a great location to explore the area with Obidos being our highlight for evening dinner options. That said, on the occasions we did eat in the hotel, the food was of a high standard and the service faultless. The staff were a real highlight for us, always attentive and helpful - a credit to the Marriott brand. For those that enjoy golf, the connected course others in the resort are superbly maintained and offer a range of standards to challenge every golfer. We will undoubtedly return to this hotel.

Zijn hier eind mei 2025 geweest. Is een groot hotel waar vooral veel golf liefhebbers komen. Naast het complex ligt een 18 hole golfbaan. Personeel spreekt in het algemeen prima Engels. Ontvangst is prima en de uitleg eveneens. Kamer aan de tuinzijde was ok met twee grote bedden. Matras voor ons echt veel te zacht, maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur. Faciliteiten gewoon supergoed. Fitness alleen erg warm maar verder een mooi binnenbad, mooi buitenbad, goede spa etc. Buitenbad is groot met voldoende ruimte in deze tijd voor de gasten. Prijzen in de bar en bij het zwembad vonden wij echt te hoog. Negen euro voor een glas gemiddelde wijn is voor Portugese begrippen belachelijk. Maar goed, men betaalt het dus Marriot lacht zich rot. Eten via buffet. Uitstekend. Zowel in de avond als de ochtend.

This resort is fantastic. Everything from the staff, amenities, just great service all around. This place has everything you need and want. I personally didn’t golf, as I was on my honeymoon with my wife, but I heard from others staying at the resort that it’s one of the best courses they’ve played. I will be back for sure!

This resort was the highlight (hotel-wise) of our trip to Portugal. We stayed in other hotels and this blew them all out of the water. Lots of restaurant options, the property was beautiful -view of the ocean breathtaking. We stayed here to go to Obidos, which is admittedly a little far (20 mins) but completely worth the trip back and forth. We felt like celebrities staying here.

Die schöne unberührte Naturlandschaft der Sanddünen, der meditative Blick auf dem Ozean und die angenehme Temperatur ( cca 10 Grad C weniger als in Lisabon) in diesem heißen Sommer.
