The hotel is Amazing! Friendly staff, Fantastic food, gorgeous pool area, great views to the golf green and the ocean. The rooms are huge and very well decorated. So clean and comfy. The photos are not enough to tell the full story… the spa area- indoor pool, sauna and steam sauna (banho turco) are free to use, which was a huge plus! Sooo close to Óbidos and the Beautiful Óbidos Lagoon. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel branding has changed which was unknown to me. My studio number was 401B. The bedroom is well equipped, comfortable, quiet and clean. The balcony is well equipped and the ocean view is great. The AIRCON was working well. Free underground parking. The room had no shower but a bathtub which access or exit was difficult and could be dangerous (when wet and slippery) for kids or person with disabilities. There is a need for repair and painting of the bathtub casing. The breakfast served at the golf clubhouse (5min walk) was great. I have enjoyed my stay and will certainly come back again.

No dia do check-in fomos informados de que a caldeira estava avariada, o que impossibilitou a utilização da zona de spa durante a nossa estadia. Apesar deste constrangimento, tudo o resto foi agradável.

This a very good hotel, in an area with real interest. Service excellent, hotel facilities fine. Pool and gym a bit small by the highest standards, and apartment WiFi a bit glitchy. These are small things. The restaurant was the standout: not cheap but some of the best fish I have eaten in a long time, served with enthusiasm and knowledge. Even if you don’t stay, drive some distance to eat here, I’d say.

Funcionários muito atenciosos e prestáveis. Capacidade de antecipar as necessidades dos hóspedes. O restaurante é excelente. Os quartos são muito espaçosos, confortáveis e bem equipados. This is the second summer we've included Royal Obidos in our vacation. It’s a great stay. Everyone is friendly and sweet, and they serve a great breakfast. The indoor pool, along with the view and the sand playground, is definitely our favorite. We strongly recommend it to families who are looking for a quiet and pleasant stay with their little one.

Excellent property and amenities. Front desk check in excellent. Spa services were outstanding and professional. Gym was great. Bar staff couldn’t say no if they tried and it really made the stay that much more enjoyable. Will be back for sure.

Nicely situated park with beautiful scenery, apartments we're spacious and cleaned every 3 days. Quality of the beds was perfect, staff was always friendly and helpful. Minor flaws were swiftly solved.

Rooms are spacious and well decorated, beds comfortable, towels large. Overall the hotel is very good but lost a star for me as they only clean the rooms every 3 days! We were staying only 4 days so not much point. When the cleaning finally happened, it was disappointing: rubbish bins were not emptied, bed linen not changed, kitchen area was not cleaned and amenities (shower gel,etc) not replaced.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the best impression. As soon as I arrived, I was very well received by the attendant Andrea. What bothered me was the smell of the room (a lot of mold and sewage smell). The room was a little dirty with hair left over from the previous guest. The shower is inside a bathtub and it is impossible to take a shower without wetting the entire bathroom, probably due to an architectural error. The worst part was breakfast, as I found hair in the food. I informed the waiter present and neither an apology nor any justification was given. I expected at least one "this is not our quality standard". Disappointing!!!

Die größe und die Grundausstattung der Wohnung war sehr gut, aber bei machen Bereichen auch wieder sehr abgenutzt oder reparaturbedürftig. Auch das die gesamte Anlage nicht fertiggestellt ist und somit immer wieder Baustellen sind. Auch das es eine Art zwei Klassensystem gibt zwischen Hotel- und Apparmentbuchungen gibt, welches voher nicht so deutlich in ihrer Beschreibung hervorgeht. Es wieder als komplette Anlage angeboten, nur muss man als Mieter der Appartments fast einen halben Kilometer laufen zum Frühstücksraum und auch nicht im Hotel frühstücken was näher wäre. Auch der Ablauf der Reinigung der Zimmer war für uns nicht verständlich, wann jemand kommt oder nicht. Sie sollten ihre Beschreibung von der Anlage und Hotel verbessern oder klarer definieren, um Entäuschungen oder Verärgerung zu vermeiden.

Hotel could be fantastic but lacking soul and those finishing touches. Rooms are large and spacious but bland with no personal touch, just white walls. Rooms only cleaned once in 7 days which is just unacceptable for a hotel closed as 5 star. One of the two restaurants was closed for 6 of the 7 days as nd only told to us via email 2 days before we arrived. Breakfast was average, eggs not pleasant, and most of the hot food luke warm. Nice golf course but views ruined with all the building work taking place. Had a great holiday but disappointed with the hotel.

Accommodation looks a bit tired but is of high standard. Good place to base yourself to play golf at West Cliffs and Praia Del Rey as well as Óbidos itself. Microclimate is weird - persistent sea fog with temperatures 12 degrees below Nazare only 40km up the coast. Beautiful beaches but not so fun in the fog! Also the restaurant choices are very limited. Golf was good but wouldn’t return in a hurry

Everything perfect except the arrogant lady by reception does not know what is priority to take care. We were not be able to get our key and she kept my family wait outside of villa for 30 mins. after checking time. Super belle hotel avec un super personnel. Le seul problème qui pourrait être corrigé la communication. On ne répond plus a la réception passer 19h . Lorsqu’on sait pas si quelqu’un sera disponible pour faire notre check in passer 19h. Excellent property and amenities. Front desk check in excellent. Spa services were outstanding and professional. Gym was great. Bar staff couldn’t say no if they tried and it really made the stay that much more enjoyable. Will be back for sure.

We had high expectations for our stay, having read previous reviews. Unfortunately these were short lived. Upon arrival there was a huge discrepancy between the price we had seen for half board and the price we were to be charged. The reception staff were very nice but the lady who came out from the office was so unprofessional, saying that the member of staff who had emailed us information previously would have to pay the difference in price from her wages! We were staying in an apartment which we did not know was not in the main hotel. We therefore had to take all our luggage there ourselves and were not offered any assistance. This included 3 flights of stairs and no lifts. We were also told that we had to have our breakfast in the golf clubhouse and not in the hotel restaurant. This was quite a long walk away. We were not told until checkout that we could have been shuttled there. Our apartment was pleasant but very bland and certainly not 4 or 5 star. There were no robes or slippers and the bath screen seal was mouldy, as was the bath grout. There were also no towels available around the pool areas and outside was noisy due to building works. Breakfast was very disappointing. The bakery options were wonderful but the ‘hot’ food was always cold and the bacon raw every day. There were no fried eggs and no smoked salmon. There was also only 1 coffee machine, so queues were inevitable. The other staff were all fantastic, particularly in the hotel restaurant.

The property is great, however very hard to get to if coming from lisbon. If planning to come, highly recommend renting a car. The golf course and restaurants were great! The apartments are very specious and newly renovated. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again. The resort was not very busy, we had the pool to ourselves for the day.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. We found it very challenging to find this hotel, despite GPS. Depending on the system you are using, you may search for Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Hotel (or Elutee Hotel on Waze), and the road is quite winding. I would definitely recommend to do this journey during daylight hours and not in the dark. The location is far away fro everything. There are no dining options, other than in the hotel and no shopping anywhere nearby. The resort is new, modern and sprawling with a beautiful outdoor and indoor pool and exercise facilities. Staff is courteous and kind. The decor is modern, artsy but not cozy. Rooms are spacious, clean and the bathrooms beautiful. The red was very comfortable. It was only a short walk from our unit to the main building and parking area. Breakfast was very good and plentiful and you could order a la carte. We would stay here again.

Hôtel au top , superbe petit déjeuner aux buffet et certaine chose à la carte gratuitement. Par contre hôtel est éloigné de tous il n’y a rien autour sur des kilomètres . Pour trouver un restaurant il faut aller sur Óbidos à environ 15 km à environ 25mn de route .

The hotel branding has changed which was unknown to me. My studio number was 401B. The bedroom is well equipped, comfortable, quiet and clean. The balcony is well equipped and the ocean view is great. The AIRCON was working well. Free underground parking. The room had no shower but a bathtub which access or exit was difficult and could be dangerous (when wet and slippery) for kids or person with disabilities. There is a need for repair and painting of the bathtub casing. The breakfast served at the golf clubhouse (5min walk) was great. I have enjoyed my stay and will certainly come back again.

Resort is beautiful and well maintained. Reception was wonderful for check in. Great amenities for all ages. The breakfast at the Clubhouse was one of the highlights! A lot of options and all very tasty. Dinner at the restaurant under the lobby was awful though, extremely slow service, despite being asked to change our reservation to an earlier time for less slow service. Food was mixed, some portions were really small and some were not restaurant quality.

Hotel could be fantastic but lacking soul and those finishing touches. Rooms are large and spacious but bland with no personal touch, just white walls. Rooms only cleaned once in 7 days which is just unacceptable for a hotel closed as 5 star. One of the two restaurants was closed for 6 of the 7 days as nd only told to us via email 2 days before we arrived. Breakfast was average, eggs not pleasant, and most of the hot food luke warm. Nice golf course but views ruined with all the building work taking place. Had a great holiday but disappointed with the hotel.

This property was lovely. The rooms were a good size and we had a balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean. Everything was modern and new and clean. Not to mention all the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
