Booked for proximity to event in Lloyd, convenient place to stay. Room was well maintained, bit of noise as close to karaoke lounge lol All was good for the value.

There were issues with our reservation. I had booked for 2 nights but there was an error with the booking at the hotel end. Also the room key cards didn’t work and made 5 trips to the front desk to reset the cards but didn’t help.

I am a person who reads all of the reviews. I will stay up well into the night reading each review. We are a family. We live a comfortable life but would prefer to save a buck on a less desirable hotel vs spending $200-300 hotel for a decent stay or a $500+ hotel on a swanky stay. You get what you pay for. In Sept 2026, our one night in a basic 2 queen room overlooking the pool was $125 cad. The hotel is undergoing Reno’s- this was evident in the lobby where there were ceiling tiles missing with obvious work being done. The carpets all throughout the hotel need to be replaced and I suspect will be along with the other Reno’s. Both elevators worked without issue for us. We did not use the pool so cannot comment. The room was clean. The bedsheets were clean and comfortable. The pillows were moderate firmness but I prefer firm pillows and mattresses. My entire family had a fantastic night sleep. My hubby even slept in which is very uncommon for him. The sink and mirror are separate to the toilet/shower/bath. But this was helpful when getting ready for the day. My hubby said the shower was great and the water pressure was strong. The shower curtain was not pleasant and hard to avoid in the small space. The breakfast was perfect for a free breakfast to start the day. We don’t expect luxury at this price point and it satisfied our expectations. The lady working in the breakfast room was INCREDIBLE! Kudos! All in all, we would stay here again for that price point. 100%
