All was fine except for 2 things. When I called weeks in advance to see if the pool would be open on my arrival date I was told my corporate that it was a heated outdoor pool. This was not accurate and it was not acceptable. Secondly, the shower was letting a dribble of pressure and had to be adjusted. Overall, not bad. I don’t like being rerouted to a corporate call center when I call a local number.

VERY COMFORTABLE BED!! Clean, steakhouse in the front yard, near freeway, yet quiet. Everything clean. The lady at the front desk was so helpful, as my luggage had been delayed. She gave me toothbrush, toothpaste and rinse. The mini-store in the lobby helped me get some food on that crazy late night. The built-in restaurant is a way upgrade from the standard "breakfast", and the seating in the foyer makes a nice cozy feel.

Everything about this hotel was pleasing to us - the spacious, clean room and the outdoors swimming pool with seating and fire pit as well as the clean fitness center with weights and benches, exercise bikes, treadmills, and ellipticals too. (And filtered drinking water to fill up your work-out container.) The lobby is spacious with plenty of tables and chairs to go with the small bistro on the side. There is lots of parking, although it sometimes fills completely up at this popular hotel; then you can use some parking shared with the Out Back restaurant next door. There is an assortment of cold bottled beverages and snacks for sale near the front door. Everything is handy and convenient at this very reasonably-priced Courtyard by Marriott. It's worthy of the Marriott name, and that's saying quite a bit. Oh, and did I mention the landscaping? Our summer visit dazzled us with red geraniums, petunias, and other annual flowers as well as gorgeous big bushes full of large white blossoms. Someone put some tasteful effort into those features. Well done!

The hotel smelled so bad of weed (they spray some sort of air freshener to try to cover it up) we had to LEAVE THE HOTEL. The furniture was old and the mattress had stains on it. The bathroom fan was really loud and shower had hair in it like it hadn't been cleaned. I will NEVER book this hotel again.

The place was your average modern budget hotel. My only complaint would be that a previous guest had decided to dispose of his nasal discharge on the walls and it was missed my housekeeping, but I don't fault the hotel for that.

The room is dated and needs an upgrade to remain Marriott quality. The furniture is chipped and the toilet paper holder fell off the wall. It was very convenient for my needs and relatively clean. Somewhat fairly priced given the condition. I stayed at a Residence Inn nearby in Hamden and it was MUCH better. Pick that one if you can!! I will next time but it was booked already this time.

I went to check in to the hotel. And the front desk women who was working told me I did not have a reservation and was very rude. I gave her my reservation number and she continued to tell me “well I’m not Expedia so I don’t. Know what to tell you”. I eventually just left and checked myself into another hotel. When I contacted Expedia they confirmed that o did have a reservation. End of story I did not stay at this property front staff was rude.

I stayed atthis property for four days in a row One room the TV didn't work. The other room the heater wouldn't work when I brought these problems to the staff at they were dismissed I was very unhappy with my treatment and would not recommend this place for anybody

Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. No attempt to make you feel welcome or to help with issue. Appalling room on ground floor right on the car park. Huge window so that everyone could see into the room and I had to keep the blinds closed. Noisy with cars and people in the morning. I was told there was no other room available. I checked out.

The hotel room itself is fine. Check in was smooth. In the morning, however, there was no available hot water for showers. When we asked at the front desk, we were told that the lack of hot water was due to the fact that everyone in the hotel was wanting a shower that morning and so there would be no hot water. No compensation was given no explanation given. After an ice cold shower for all three of us, we were quite glad that we had chosen not to stay the next night The front desk also was unable to make keys and had to have the cleaning staff take people to their rooms to let them in.

I wasn’t impressed that breakfast was extra but there is no complimentary coffee either. We asked and it wasn’t available or until after 630 am and then you had to ask so I’m still not sure if there was a charge for it because we checked out and went to Dunkin’s. Don’t expect any extras with this stay

The food was outstanding not your normal hotel food all the servers were so polite and attentive to needs food was well seasoned I love local would definitely stop in just for some good food and friendly people or just a weekend away John was also very helpful woth a issue I had that he was able to straighten out
