Exterior of the property looks great but inside is a different story. Attention to detail should cos. Elevator walls very dirty with something splashed on walls. Carpeting almost non existent. Room is large but definitely showing its age. Sink counter area very dirty and could use a good cl among vans paint. Door trim in bathroom falling off wall. Pool drained and inoperable. Paint in room needs a lot of touch up and wall patch needs finished. Towel rack in bath broken off.graffiti on bath wall No tissue in dispenser Tile in sink area very dirty in edges and corners. For the price we paid thought this place would be much nicer! Not to mention they charge an extra $10 to park in their lot!!

While the staff was very helpful and friendly the room we stayed in #103, was in major need of help. Very loose door knobs, broken lights, leaking condensation unit that made puddles on the tile floor, the shower head was made for a 4 foot person, the shower needs to be resurfaced badly as it may have been cleaned but you would never know that, shower curtain rod was ready to fall down etc. the patio had broken patio chairs, several bricks were missing on the ground causing big holes for someone to get really hurt, pool was not filled, and dirty table. Location to the ports was perfect however. Put some money in this place and the owners could make it a gold mine!

Nothing was in working order. Main Elevator broken, ice machine broken as well as no batteries in the remote. Continental breakfast was not being served. I asked the guy for coffee and he said there's a bakery on the corner. Super disappointed that I even payed for this stay

Some lights in the room didn’t work. We couldn’t get the taps in either the shower or sink to work. Clerk from the front desk said he would move us but when he came he just showed us how to get the taps to work. We had done exactly what he did but you needed to have the strength of Arnold Swarzenneger to turn them on. None of the ice machines worked. There was no way to make a hot drink - no kettle and no cups. The whole place seemed very run down and a bit smelly.

Inexpensive for a reason. High security at check in (signing through a narrow slot) gave me the impression this is a high crime area. Carpets are filthy as are the floors in the bathrooms. Obvious feces smears on the bathroom walls and dirty floor as well. The only positive were the large, absorbent towels. Pool was closed and drained although it was 90 degrees during my visit. Spend a few dollars more and stay somewhere else.

not-so-good. No security lock on the room door. No coffee at all. No ice at all. No printer to print out our boarding passes. Happy to hear we could leave the car for $10 a day. They should advertise this feature. Room shabby, a good value for a one night stay.

The grossest, scariest hotel I’ve ever been to. No blankets, stained, dirty mattresses, mold, BUGS! Scary people doing drugs and sleeping in the parking lot. We had to leave, I didn't want to put my head on the pillow. Please do not stay here!

If this hotel was not across from the cruise port, there is no way I’d pay 130$ a night for a place like this. This hotel was not good. Not only did we wake up to bed bugs in our room (203), but our neighbors room lights shined under the connecting door, they were noisy, the room is beat up, and dirty mattresses. We showed the front desk the picture of the bed bugs but they didn’t seem to care.

TLDR: I don’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a clean place to sleep. Here are the different things we noticed in our room: - Room smell slaps you in the face as soon as you get in (it smells like a humid room that wasn’t ventilated for 10 years.) - Floor wasn’t clean (we could see dirt and hair) - The bathtub was in a terrible condition (dirty, rusty and pieces of it missing) - There was hair under the bedsheets (which indicates me that they weren’t washed after the previous guest) - The AC unit was full of dust - The door lock (latch) was broken We went to the front desk to request a different room (hopping to get a clean one this time). They switched us to a suite. When we got in, we checked everything and there was somebody else’s glass of water on the bathroom counter and hair on the supposed clean towels. Additionally, the door lock (latch) was also broken and and the AC (that was stuffed with dust) had a little pine tree air freshener in it. so we went back and asked for a different room. We got a different suite that finally was in acceptable condition, aside form the floor being dirty and a missing smoke detector (we could see the wires hanging from where it was supposed to be). I’m aware the place isn’t a 5 star hotel but cleanliness and a normal smell should not be optional, even for a low grade hotel. If we only had to change room once,

Room was non smoking but smelled like smoke, window screen broken looks like someone was trying to get in also no screen on other window the sheets were dirty and stained one of the outlets was burned.

This old and rundown hotel has a great location, particularly for cruise ship clients. A faulty sink drain in the bathroom caused water to be on the floor not only in the bathroom, but in the rest of the room. Their solution was to place a wastebasket under the sink. When taking a shower, I ended up standing in 4 to 5 inches of water. A total rehab is necessary.

The beds were gross. If you look under the mattress it is stained with urine and who knows what else. Carpet needs replacement and the walls are extremely thin. We had a family with a dogs and children up until after 2 am banging around and tv extra loud. The only one thing we liked is it was located in a great location.

The first room they gave us had puddle of water under the AC unit and dirty towels on the dresser. The next room was slightly better with no puddles. There are holes in the walls, the bedside lamps have shades held on with packing tape, the bed was so uncomfortable and we were told by our Uber driver that this place was a homeless shelter and to watch out for bed bugs.

Check in was very quick and easy. Front desk staff was friendly. We stayed here one night before our cruise. It worked fine for one night. I definitely wouldn’t stay here long term. As other comments mention the place is in rough shape. There were stickers, trash, and hair all over our room. However the convince of it being within walking distance to the port makes it bearable for a night.

Only stayed for one night. The front desk person very accommodating to our late arrival. There were 18 of us and with different arrival time. He did his best to put us all close together. Lits of place to eat around the area but they close so early so plan before arriving to this area. The rooms are spacious enough and good for what we paid for. Except the heater was giving out cold air instead of heat. Their was wind storm when we arrived so the room was cold.

The staff was nice, check in/check out process was easy and location was super close to the cruise port but the building is pretty outdated. Everything was old, smelled old like an old smoking motel, and there was a roach in the bathroom and one in the main sleeping area. The sheets was dirty as well. I didn’t bother asking for new ones since it was only for 1 night. It was definitely a long night since I’m terrified of bugs..

I had no hot water from the faucet in the sink so I told the front desk. They were going to call the maintenance company. But I said It’s getting late and send someone in the morning. The next morning no one showed up and the Hotel wouldn’t even give me a little credit. They said that I had just notified them.

Bathrooms were in need of a face lift. They were rusty and very worn out. Sheets on beds seemed clean. Carpet in hallways need to be replaced and new paint is needed on walls and elevator. Outside was clean and manicured. We stayed there because it was an easy walk to the port for our Cruise the next day.

We have stayed here quite a few times and it is perfect for jumping on a ship because we just walk across the street and jump on it or getting off a ship we walk across the street and spend the night before leaving town in the city is in walking distance and it's cute and fun to go to

The property needs some maintenance. The room was large and the parking rate was reasonable. The bedding cover was lightweight and it would have been nice to have a blanket for some warmth. The location was perfect for an overnight stay before a cruise out of the port of Los Angeles.

Fabulous location, directly across the road from the LA Maritime Museum and a 10 minute walk to the International Cruise Terminal and the Battleship Iowa. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but plenty close by. The hotel is a little run down and could do with a little TLC especially the beds.

The hotel is a little dated but who cares since it is pretty clean for an older building (I'm guessing it is from the 1980s). The Green Onion Mexican Restaurant is right around the corner and open pretty late. It seems to be the only restaurant within a few blocks, but it has good food at a reasonable price. Stayed here overnight before a cruise. I think the Princess Cruise dock is about a couple miles away but Carnival is on the other side of the port about 6 or 7 miles away.
