There’s no parking on the property. Valet is free but inconvenient. Got here after a long drive to find out the restaurant is not open on Sunday's. Apparently travelers don’t eat or drink on Sunday's?

The hotel is in decent shape but during our stay the regular parking area was under construction so you have to park your car next door at TD Bank. They offer valet service. What I did not like is that the jacuzzi was out of service and the water in the pool was very cold.

Was ok. Property is in need of some renovation. The packing garage has been out of commission for over three years. You have to pack offsite. The roof in the pool room was leaking when it was raining. Other than that, the room was clean. The staff was pleasant.

Overall room was nice and spacious! The cleanliness of the lobby could of been better. The floors were dirty and the elevator floor had spilled coffee on it for 2 days. We asked for our valet car to be ready by 3:30 and had to wait an additional 15 minutes. They also charged my daughter $2 for one fun dip. She was told that they can makeup the prices.

There was no hot water on the first morning when I went to take a shower. The person at the front desk said it would warm up if I let it run about 20 minutes. The same was true the second day. In the evening there was hot water on both of those days. It was fixed for the third and fourth days after I spoke to someone at the front desk who then contacted engineering to take care of things. The property is gradually updating their facilities. Make sure you check with staff the day before to make sure you are in part of the building that has already been upgraded so will have hot water in the morning. On my last evening while I was brushing my teeth, a cockroach wandered into the bathroom. When I told the front desk person the day after, she asked why I didn't call down to let someone know. It's not clear what she thought anyone could have done by coming up to my room to see the dead cockroach. A better thing for her to day is that she will notify management immediately. I had to recommend that to her.

loved how close to downtown the property is, we walked whwre we could. parking garage is closed for renovations but the staff was great and provided free valet and parked our car close or in front of the doors most days to help with us having a small child and my husband using a cane. loved the bar and pool as well. the hallways smelled strongly of weed but thankfully the smell stayed in the halls

We had great service at check in and with the free valet service. (The current garage is not available so they are using one down the street). Our room was on the 5th floor and when we got out of the elevator, it smelled like smoke, specifically marijuana. When we went into our room similarly, the room smell vaguely of marijuana and the bathroom even worse. We got in pretty late and we were tired and did not want to change rooms. Then, as we were getting ready for bed, someone decided to have a long conversation on the phone outside our door at the end of the hall. We open the door once and the person didn't leave. Finally we open the door again and told the person that the walls were thin and we could hear the conversation. But it was a bummer. The room was clean, and the service was good. The big issue was the room smelled like smoke and the room was not as quiet as it should have been.

Great spot for exploring the area. Walking distance to downtown, and easy drive to nature, which is why I was in town w/ friends. Only complaint is that the hot water ran out really fast in the showers the days we were there

I was nervous about the property due to its location & what I've heard from some others, but it was the only option for my timing & I took a chance. The exterior looked extremely dated & a bit unkempt & the neighborhood seemed dark & unsafe. However, upon entering the staff was super pleasant, super helpful, & I was in my room in like 2 minutes from walking into the lobby to my front door. Room was a cozy size & well appointed. All new fixtures & incredibly clean. I was very pleasantly surprised. I did find a sock in the closet left behind by a previous guest, but otherwise, all seemed very sanitary. TV wouldn't turn on, but the WiFi was very adequate to stream entertainment, so for one night, it worked.

it was ok. 2 queen beds were comfortable enough. 2 chairs, small desk attached to bureau. decent tv. very small bathroom. 1 person at a time please. don't be in a rush for that shower...11th floor room took 10 minutes for the hot water to arrive. parking garage closed (for repair?). free valet to an unsecured parking lot. $12.99 breakfast nothing special, but due to a foul up with our reservation, we got vouchers.

The hotel has been updated with comfortable rooms that are clean and nice. The pool area is clean. Breakfast was great. Easy, fast, and delicious. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The only downsides are: rooms surrounding the pool area are loud during open pool hours. Rooms could use a with noice cancelling material in the hallway walls. The parking garage is closed, but not yet under construction. So the surrounding area looks dated and rundown, but the hotel building itself has recently been painted and cleaned up.

The off site parking was inconvenient as our party has limited mobility. We have a handicap placard and were told on the phone we could park in the hotel lot with it. They failed to mention there are only two spots. None were available. There was valet offered but at our time of check in it was an absolute mess. The staff was doing the best they could but it was terribly understaffed.

All was very good at this hotel, our room was modernized and updated. The people at the front desk as well as all the employees were all well trained and pleasant . Pittsfield is in the middle of The Berkshires and so it was a great location to see what we wanted to see.

The valet was super nice and very attentive. The front desk attendant could not find my reservation. After waiting almost 10 minutes the manager came over and swiftly assisted, finding my reservation. The room was clean and quiet. While I wish self-parking was available, the valet service was prompt and accommodating.

The check in process was easy, and the front desk clerks were friendly. The parking garage is still not complete so the cars are parked off property. Getting a spot to temporarily park for the check in process can be challenging. Valet is an option which we used and would recommend. The staff was able to get our car quickly when requested. We had a concern on our 2nd night with smelling smoke in which we contacted the desk. They said they would send someone up to investigate, However there was no follow up. After 20 minutes of still smelling smoke in our room and in the hallway, I contacted the desk and they asked to remind them of our concern. At that point they contacted maintenance who said they checked our floor and “it seems like someone was cooking in their room.” We asked if they had confirmed the source and were told not to worry, the staff does regular fire checks. Hopefully that was true, all turn d out well but it was a little unnerving. We’ve stayed at this property in the past without any issues.

We were coming in for a quick stay to surprise friends in the area. Many years ago we had stayed on the property and it was very nice, but this time it was very disappointing. We knew the parking garage was closed and that there was complimentary valet, but upon arrival there was no one in sight to valet so we ended up parking ourselves. Luckily it was right in the lot on property. Our friends were not so lucky and had to self park at a nearby lot. As we entered the lobby a man whom I am assuming was the valet was slouched in a chair and didn't even acknowledge our arrival. The woman at the front desk was friendly and explained everything. When we went to our room and discovered a portable crib was set up. We were heading out and asked the front desk if it could be removed. She said of course. Anyways we were gone for many hours, and returned to find it was still in the room. It was late so my husband and I just dragged it out and put it in the hall. Also upon our return that evening there were several police cars in the driveway which was a little unsettling. The next morning we went down to the desk because we were told to "prepay" for breakfast because then it would cost less than if we paid at the breakfast. The woman at the front desk was very rude, took a few minutes to acknowledge us and then told us that "they don't do that".She then agreed to do it.The breakfast was not worth the additional cost. I was disappointed with both the staff and the condition of the hotel.

This hotel met our one night need for affordable accommodation in the area around Tanglewood. Room was clean and comfortable and afforded a nice view of the surrounding area including mountains, a nice church, and police, fire and ambulance responding to a weird scene. The parking garage attached to the hotel appears condemned which means a valet drives your car down the street to a bank lot. Let them do this. I drove myself and did NOT feel safe walking back to the hotel after the concert and I am not unaccustomed to being in large cities. Several sketchy characters in the area, at least two appeared to be on a drug like meth. Fortunately the valet walked ahead and engaged one character asking for money long enough for me to pass by for which I was extremely grateful. There is an absolutely lovely carousel down the street by the CVS you should visit during the day. Overall, the hotel was fine but the area right around it was not.

Stay was great overall. Room was well appointed and very clean. Especially liked the hotel location as it was walking distance to everything I needed. Only minor complaint is the parking as the attached garage is still under renovation? Would prefer having better access to my car, but the valet was easy enough. (cars are parked next door in the TD bank parking lot)

The hotel itself was great. No complaints at all. There were a few shady looking characters around and hanging around outside the hotel. The parking garage is under construction so we all had to park at the at TD bank. One person in our group had their car broke into in that parking lot.

Pittsfield is not a city where I would willingly spend time. The streets are lined with the homeless, who may be staying down the hall from you. Many stores on North Street are vacant. Those that are not are occupied by agencies dealing with the drug problem in the city. The smell of weed is everywhere (not in the hotel). The employees are lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is decent but limited and monotonous. It was the same selection 7 mornings in a row. The bar and restaurant were pleasant but not part of the hotel - you cannot put your check on the hotel bill. The room was comfortable but looked out on a soup kitchen and broken garage. I did see a rat heading into the garage one morning. Parking is in the adjacent bank lot. You might have to walk past a few sketchy characters to get to the hotel. Sadly, the public parts of the hotel are in disrepair. The front doors squawk and the elevators are shaky. We witnessed a power outage during our stay. There is a generator however. We got great service from the sales department scheduling an event on the top (13th) floor. We were given a room with a magnificent view and the in-house caterer provided a nice breakfast. I might do that again but I think we are done staying there.

To start with, the parking garage is closed and looks condemned. When asked where to park, we were told to park down the hill at the bank parking lot. Breakfast was pretty expensive for a continental breakfast that in other hotels would be free. It was also of poor quality.

Terrible and expensive. The hotel is very dated and has no Amenities. The garage was condemned and is closed so there was no parking and no handicap accessibility. The restaurant was closed and no food or beverages available at check in or checkout except expensive mini pizzas or Mac and cheese. Just an incredibly expensive and poorly run and managed hotel that is very over priced.
