I don't know how this hotel gets such good reviews. No elevator, no luggage carts, no handicapped parking (at least not at our part of the hotel). Couldn't park by door and had to drag luggage to our room. Bathtub didn't drain well, and didn't have a grab rail to get out of shower. Sinks only had warm water, couldn't get a drink. Room had been bombed with heavy room fresheners, gagging us and making our eyes burn. Front desk was no help, just said to leave our door open! We had to buy a fan to air out the room. Pool was closed and didn't look like it had been used for years. Fitness center had a sign saying out of order Breakfast was decent-eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal. Guy that was stocking the breakfast bar was friendly and efficient. Hotel is quiet, which is a plus.

Lovely, clean, quiet. good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Only drawback was the exercise room. Very hot with no air conditioning or fan, no towels and the elliptical was broken on one side. Tread mill was fine. Don't let this deter you. It was a lovely stay. Quality breakfast!!

The evening desk clerk at check in was rude but all the other staff was very friendly. Said they had a pool but did not. Turned it into a fenced play area on artificial turf with some games for kids. This also doubled as a dog park where they would use it as a bathroom, so the kids played in the same area with urine and feces. Room was fair but the floors were dirty. Air conditioner leaked water onto the floor inside of the room. Daily room service only consisted of taking out the trash and it was an inconvenience to get towels replaced. A friend who stayed there one night while we were there warned us to check our credit card payment because they attempted to charge him for two (2) nights. Will not stay here again!

Front desk staff was professional, friendly & helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean. The only negative comment about Best Western is there are no elevators to get to second floor. If you don't do well on steps, request the 1st floor. The breakfast was good, as well.

The room appeared clean at first but the floors were filthy, in just a few minutes to bottoms of our feet were literally black. The bed was okay. Breakfast isn't served until 7 a.m. so we were not able to try that out because we left out early each morning, our choice on that though. My biggest issue was how dirty the floors were.

Room was full of roaches, front desk gave us another room on second floor and had the same problem. I’m very disappointed with this property. I do not recommend this property to anyone. Hopefully they can get this resolved soon.

Spacious room. Cold refrigerator. Shower had good water pressure and hot water. Great pillows and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Personable staff. Easy check in and check out. The only thing that was a HUGE turnoff was the room was over sprayed with Febreeze or some other air freshener. The smell was overpowering and nauseating when first walking into room. Had to leave door open. After the fourth day the smell remained strong when first entering room after being gone all day.

The smell of cleaning chemicals was so intense, we had to leave the door open. No windows either, there’s corn hook which is great but rather loud & joining rooms which was not something we expected. However, the strong chemical smell is really only notable issue.

Room was dirty and we saw 2 roaches. Beds were nice and comfortable. The unit that holds the fridge didnt latch and kept swinging open which made it unsafe for our toddlers.

The water was brown when we got there and took longer than 35 min. to heat up. It took over 35 minutes to run it through. The tub didn't drain well at all. These issues shouldn't be solved on arrival of guest. They should be customer ready.

Really happy with this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I withheld one star over all because there was not a lot of hot water. This was late evening tho. It seemed better in the mornings. The Staff and breakfast were really great.

Good location, good price. However, the bathtub faucet had a bad leak, which the hotel new about and rented the room anyway. Unfortunately, there was more water coming out of the faucet than there was coming out of the shower head.

We checked in and were given a handicapped room...no idea why. The bed was extremely high so luckily we are about average in height. There were some maintenance issues that were beyond annoying. The A/C until rattled and made obnoxious noises. The tub faucet would not shut off and literally ran a steady stream the entire time. The sink had a broken stopper and was just left in the sink. As for the shower, there was only a handheld sprayer with very low water pressure. Remember I mentioned we are both average in height, the sprayer was positioned in the corner of the shower and hit us about eye level. The bed wasnt terrible. The breakfast was decent.

Super convenient location for the GSMNP. The hotel could use some upgrades. Lighting was poor in the room, shower provided only lukewarm water, and the internet and tv went out our final night about 7:30 and was still out the next morning.

Upon arrival there was no one at front desk. Waited ten minutes for a rude man to show up and he was mad at the world. Not friendly at all. I have a service dog and at breakfast was asked by the person at the front desk to sit away from the food area because of my service dog. The young man bringing out the food followed me around making sure I closed the food and laid down the utensils in the right spot. Never been treated so rudely.

The staff at the front desk do not match the quality of the Best Western. I asked the front staff if I could get a “light blanket” to sleep in as I was feeling hot and he said “we are out of stock”. Then I asked if I could get a “sheet” to take on me and off course he plainly refused. This is the first time that a hotel like BW didn’t want to accommodate. And at the breakfast time the lady was watching everyone like a “spy”. How can you enjoy your breakfast if you are being watched. Ridiculous people. I like and love the BW but it may change after today.

No one in lobby when I arrived - waited more 8 minutes for staff to show - was not in area. When checking in staff asked for address - several times! Could not get spelling correct. Then he asked for drivers license! If he had done that first he would have had the address correctly! He also had a poor attitude like he was too busy to be bothered with my needing to check in.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming but thoroughly impressed with the staff who was responsible for preparing , upkeeping and welcoming the us and the other guests at breakfast . He never stopped and always with a smile ! He deserves praise !!!!!!

Property is in Quiet Townsend. I love the location. The property is good. It was clean and comfortable. Can tell its an older property with some recent updates it seems. I liked the laminate floors, cleaner than carpet. Ceilings and walls could use a fresh coat of paint but overall happy with stay. Would stay again. Did not take advantage of breakfast, checked out before time for it. Close to the mountains and out of the crowd of Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg. Close to Cades Cove and the National Park.

I highly recommend this motel if you are staying in the Townsend area. It is very clean and quiet. It is conveniently located on the greenway trail. You can actually walk to the grocery store and restaurants. Very nice motel with friendly staff!!!

Clean. Breakfast was terrific! The gentleman in the breakfast area from Jamaica was exceptionally pleasant, cheerful and efficient. Didn't get his name. The women who checked us out am of 05-26 was lovely to talk to and has a great sense of humor!!
