Entrance was unfriendly. No one at counter to greet us. Had to call them after 5 minutes to help us get checked in. Room was very cold when entering. Looked old and dingy. Parking lot was dark and no signage or bad signage from street entrances

The hotel is in a great location- Woodstock is a great little town. The hotel used to be a Best Western. They didn’t do many upgrades. The pool needs some serious attention. For us it was the main draw, but it was FREEZING.

It was a short weekend stay but it was good. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the pillows could’ve been better but overall it was good. The pool was great bigger than I imagined. I caught the end of breakfast so I only had coffee and cereal but it was good.

our keys didn’t work, we were locked out of our room for over an hour, we were late for a wedding in the area due to being locked out of our room with all of our stuff in the room. Finally someone let us into the room, but we had to be let back into the room after the wedding because they were never able to get a key for us. Pool area was full of algae and the water was freezing! Very disappointing stay

The room was clean and nice and the front desk staff was very friendly. We were here for Groundhog Day weekend so it was a busy time but the noise levels weren't too bad. The indoor pool, while very clean, never had any towels out so you had to ask specially for them from the desk. We went in on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon and it was frigid. On Saturday, another guest told management about it and he claimed it was 80 degrees. Honestly, we were chattering the entire time so it had to be in the low 70s. Upon checkout, we expressed this to the same person and he claimed they maintain it at 80-82 degrees which was absolutely not the case. My poor daughter's lips were blue after only a little while in there. The other weird thing was when we came back to the room on Sunday afternoon it was clear housekeeping had been there as trashes were emptied and we had fresh towels but they didn't make the beds. It wasn't a big deal but it was just unusual. Overall we had a nice stay and it was only a mile off the main square so it was easy to get to all the festivities. We'd stay again ... but maybe bring a blanket for the pool.

Dirty and old room, ceiling cracked and looks like it going to fall, microwave filthy , ice machine inconvenient on 3 rd floor , parking lot inconvenient for Ram truck to turn with snow banks blocking, key cards or master key didn’t work for over 2 hours . Had to take medication late due to not being able to get into my room. They wanted me to keep my door open because lock was broken. Employees were unable to compensate any money back . Management was not there to assist was on vacation in India per employees definitely not 8.0 ratings pictures are deceiving.

The grounds had bottles, cans and other trash in the parking lot. The shower in the room had no light, which is probably a good thing so you couldn’t see what was in there. Highly doubt those sheets had been changed. Smelled like curry anyplace inside the hotel. Never stay here.

The Hotel was convenient access for my needs and to restaurants. My room didn't feel clean. There were bits of tissue or toilet paper on the bathroom floor. If it hadn't been swept well, I don't think it was likely mopped either. There were a few spots of carpet that were torn. The bathroom hollow core door had a hole in it. Some of the bathroom ceiling tiles had been painted, possibly to cover mold? They didn't match. The last time the room was painted, nothing must have been masked off. There was paint drips and runs all over the trim, including tiles and the bathroom counter. It looked like no one cared about the maintenance of the property. Lastly, while it was summer and very warm and humid outside, inside the room was almost as humid, even with the AC set low. Very uncomfortable stay and I will not use this facility again.

The room and beds were cleaned. Breakfast was decent. Room fan did not seem to work properly. We turn the room fan on and it got to 74 degrees in the room. We attempted to lowered the fan temperature and did not work. It was cooler in the hallways . The shower dispersed very little amount of water not very good if attempting to take a quick shower. The digital clock in the room made static connections sounds so we just unplugged it.

Air conditioner stopped working after being load. The refrigerator was load and we had to unplug it. No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom. TV remote control was disgustingly sticky and wouldn’t come clean when I tried to wash it. Overall for the $$ the property seemed very old and not many updates that are needed.

The bed was really comfy. The linens smelt fresh. Looks like they need to buy some new bath towels though. It was dark in the bathroom. Thought it was too expensive for what you got. Overall the bed was nice and the TV was nice.

1. When we checked in, the young man at the desk was friendly enough, but we had a severe language problem - both ways. It would be helpful to have someone at the desk that speaks and clearly understands English. 2. The in-room coffee is undrinkable. The dispenser by the breakfast bar was not much better.. 3. This hotel has been very recently renovated, yet there were three ceiling tiles in the bathroom with bad water leak stains. It was reported but no effort was made to repair. Also, I reported that there was a bad water leak and stain in the main room by the window that was dripping onto the side chair. Housekeeping should have noticed both of these and had the room blocked it until repairs were made.

Check in was terrible. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. He only showed up after I went down the hall to get him. People that we spoke to said there was water leaks and had to be moved 3 times.

The hotel is the best option in an area of limited places to stay. There is a restaurant with great food right next door. There is also a live music venue within walking distance. The hotel is close to the local Walmart in case you need something you left behind. The staff was helpful and our rooms were very clean. The local Woodstock square had some great and unique shopping and dining options and is a few blocks away. Great local brewery and two bakeries on the square with a weekend farmers market in season as well.

Location was a little difficult to find since it is tuck in behind a family restaurant and a motel. There was a man who was always walking in and out of the property seemed harmless but odd since he didn’t wear shoes most times. The room air conditioner wouldn’t kick on when going to bed. The room did seem updated and was clean.

Our stay was very nice. You can tell it is an older hotel, but has been updated. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable. There is a nice restaurant right in front of it, very convenient. It had a pool, it looked nice, but we didn't have a chance to try it out. It was good for our weekend there.

Easy to find, park, check-in and check out. Pleasant staff. Stay with no frills and the most basic of amenities. No security or surveillance in the parking area or corridors that we noticed, and there were different, individual men with open containers hanging around the outside entry at night. A local diner favorite is just across the parking lot if you’d like a hearty breakfast or meal. Fine.

A nice surprise. The room was large, newly remodeled, and clean. Large TV, plenty of plug-ins, Fridge, Microwave, and coffee pot. Nice breakfast (however the eggs and gravy were gone). I would stay here again. There was a good restaurant across the parking lot.

The only trash container was in the bathroom & it was very small. The blanket on the bed was too small and could only be used by one person, we played tug of war all night. The bathroom ceiling leaked above our toilet so every time you sat down you were dripped on. They ran out of gravy & potatoes at breakfast and there wasn't any milk for the cereal. The staff did seem friendly and let us extend our check out 30 minutes.
