The property was fine. However, the parent company (Wyndham) has directed all Baymont properties to remove all coffee makers, drinking glasses, and ice containers, from all rooms! What do you use to take medicines or calm a dry cough? In my consumer opinion, a poor decision on their part to save buck.! Time to boycott Wyndham!

The lady at check-in was very friendly. The check-in process was seamless. Parking is limited in the front and on the side of the hotel. But the parking lot is very well lit. This is my second stay at this location. The hotel quality appeared better this time. The room was clean and spacious.

Staying here was okay. This hotel promotes hot breakfast but only serve coffee. There was a receptionist who constantly profiled and made my brother feel uncomfortable and tried to charge him for a room that was already reserved and payed for. Falsely accused him of smoking just because he had his window open because the room was stuffy and the air conditioner doesn't get as low as it should. House cleaning was amazing. They do have a gym and the pool doesn’t have any water in it.

This was our second time starting here and the staff was wonderful and courteous and the pool was nice and clean we would deff recommend anyone to come stay here u wouldn’t have any problems but just not wonting to leave

The beds had stains on the sheets and bed covers. The floor had stains on the carpet and a cigarette butt under the desk. There were people up late partying by the pool one of the nights of our stay. When our room was cleaned, my clothes were touched/moved by housekeeping. After cleaning, no new towels were left but the front desk person was very nice and brought them to the room.

I booked a room for my kids and I. We decided sleeping in the car was better. First off the second floor smelled weird. Upon opening the room it was a heavy gross smell. Everything was dated and dirty. It was throw up on the carpet. There were dirty towels on the floor. The sheets had stains in them like alot .

Dirty floors to include carpeting and bathroom floor that also had a dead cockroach on floor. Didn’t let the wife see or she would have left. Carpet torn up. No shower towels in room. One hand towel was dirty. Expect more from a Wyndham!

If you care at all about cleanliness, avoid at all cost. I made the mistake of booking without thoroughly vetting the reviews, given that there just aren’t many options for accommodations in this area. Between the dirty bed linens (hair, mildewed black spots) and dirty bathroom we opted to leave five minutes after check-in and just keep driving.

Clean, very spacious room. Staff was wonderful. Rooms are very nice and WiFi worked great (many hotels advertise free WiFi but it hardly works) as well as advertised tv channels 😊 I would choose this hotel over any in this area.

We were surprised to find the property in not the conditions you would except from Wyndham. There was a large water stain on the ceiling above the window in our room. There were stains on our sheets and we had to buy our own sheets at a local store. The toilet seat was cracked an instead of replacing the seat the seat was duct taped. Breakfast was okay but there is not music or tv with sound playing to make one feel at ease in the lobby. Just strange silence. There was a large stain in the carpet in our room right when you entered the room.

Everything was clean and neat. Staff was very friendly ,The beds are a little uncomfortable. They are to hard for my liking, but I can make accommodations to fix that. The price per night was great. I will be booking again in the future.

The location was good. Right behind a fabulous steakhouse, Ippy’s. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room however was a different story. There was a noticeable odor as soon as we checked in. The bed pillows were the size of throw pillows. Never in my times of staying at a hotel have I seen bed pillows that small. The A/C unit was not working properly and did not cool our room at all. Fortunately the front desk staff did all they could at the time and provided us with a fan for our room. We were only there for one night so that helped.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in hadn’t been updated or refurbished in a long time. The curtains wouldn’t close, and there was a bright light in the parking lot that shined into the room all night. There was a 3 inch square cut out of the carpet, right between the two beds. All the pillows on both beds were small square throw pillows.

Short staffed. The person running the front counter is also mixing waffle mix. Asked for towel replacement but didn't get them until we went back to ask later. Only 3 tables and 8 chairs for breakfast-not acceptable. Also, not cleaned so quite nasty to eat at a table where everything is sticky. Absolutely no sugar free syrup, drinks, jelly, cereal.....not good for a diabetic. Waffle mix was empty, then not mixed well (likely because one person was doing everything. She was very nice but still alone from what I could tell. Will probably not even stay at a baymont ever again.

Front desk personnel had on pajamas, was unkempt. Coffee was cold, linen on bed was old. Pillow was atrocious.went down for breakfast at 08:30 and they ran out of food, had to wait about 20 minutes…as a Veteran I wouldn’t stay or recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I have stayed here often on visits to Rocky Mount. The hotel has gotten better in terms of customer service. The rooms could use some light maintenance and upgrade to paint and curtains. Overall the stay is good value for its price point.

The hotel is close to Arby's and KFC. The area is quite with mostly businessrs nearby. Could have been cleaner and breakfast has few options. Still a good place to rest.

I thought the room and amenities were average. I was a bit disappointed with the linens because the bed pillows for the king-sized bed were so small, they were comical. I used all four to get enough comfort to compare to a normal king/queen sized pillow. My other complaint regarding the linens had to do with the towels. They were thread bare and very, very rough. Breakfast was adequate because it came with the room. Can't say much more than that. I assigned 4 stars because the hotel was convenient to the interstate. I probably won't choose to stay at the Baymont for my next visit to Rocky Mount.

Unfortunately the breakfast has gone down hill here. We have stayed here before but on this trip teh breakfast was really poor. It was not ready at 6:30am as announced. There was no coffee ready. The orange juice was very watery and teh apple juice tasted off. The gallon jug of milk in the refrig was 4 days past the expiration date. All of teh bread goods were nearly stale. This breakfast really needs to get improved. There was never enough coffee for everyone at breakfast.
