Cozy, clean and well located lodging! I love staying here. The views and restaurant are excellent and service is fantastic. The Boulevard Inn also has convenient onsite, free parking. I wish it had a larger fitness area.

Please fix elevator , better ice buckets, clean the coffee maker. Tell patrons to enter in the back. Can't check in in the front door. There should belll hops or someone should offer to asst. the elderly with there luggage trolley.

The only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t have a pool. We had children with us who were very disappointed about that. I didn’t notice it on their website that they didn’t have one. It should be stated that they do NOT have a pool.

It was a nice stay in a comfortable room. They upgraded us upon check-in, which was very nice. The only problem was that there is only one elevator working, and they have a crew of men remodeling, and they kept tying up the only elevator that was working.

The location was very close to Lake Michigan and our corner two room suite had amazing views. The suite was clean and quiet. The Bistro restaurant had amazing food. Our only complaint would be the old, noisy elevators. We did have issues with our door catching making it hard to open. We did alert the front desk so that maintenance could address. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

My only downgrade is that the truly wonderful restaurant in the building is closed some days of the week. If you plan to eat there, you need to check that first. Breakfast was amazing!

Check in was a little rough as they had issues with people not checking out on time that morning, so our room wasn’t available until after 6pm. The staff was apologetic about it though and gave some credit for food at the Bistro. The rest of the stay was great - clean room, great view, clean common areas, nice fitness room, and nice staff (shout out to Crystal the maid who made sure we were stocked properly with toiletries!) The Bistro also served a yummy breakfast both days (little expensive - typically priced between $10 and $18 per person but they did not skimp on portions or coffee refills!). The hotel was about a 10 min walk from the beach and was right across a very nice walking path.

We loved our stay at the Boulevard Inn. Check in was easy as well as the close proximity of the parking lot. The room was very clean and I appreciated the large mini fridge. We really liked the location. It was close to the beach, and stores. We are already talking about booking again next summer. Thanks for a wonderful family trip!

This is an excellent hotel in downtown St Joseph, MI. We stayed on a whim and were happy with the stay. It was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful—especially the restaurant and cleaning staff. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The bed was comfortable and overall very clean.

Loved this hotel for the spacious room and separate sleeping area. The bed was great but could have used some softer pillows. Our only real complaint, which sounds weird, was the color selections in the rooms made everything look dingy, dated and dark. The bedroom is orange which doesn’t reflect well on any skin tone. The ceiling in the sitting area is orange and the walls are dull which makes for a dated look. The bathroom is small and functional, though the lighting is poor. The bathroom walls are brown which doesn’t help brighten the space and again made for a dingy look even though it was very clean.

Clean and nice rooms. Our suit had a view of the lake/lighthouse and a full size fridge and microwave. Bistro downstairs made for convenient meals, as did the grab and go options in the lobby. But the biggest perk was location—steps from the farmer market on Saturday, the beach, and shopping district. There is a train that runs several times a night and is loud, but this is going to be an issue if you stay anywhere near Silver Beach.

This was our second time staying here and it is a decent value in the off-season. Large rooms with a full sized refrigerator and the bathroom sink is outside the commode/shower room. Great views of the lake on the west facing rooms.

The rooms are huge-easily sleeps 6 people! The location is lovely, and it is across from the beach, pier, splash pad, etc. ; however, the town and hotel are on a cliff above the beach, so you do need to go down many stairs and take a 15 minute walk to the sandy beach. This hotel is PERFECT for a romantic getaway!

Check in was a breeze and the staff was friendly. They have coffee available in the lobby at all times which was a special bonus for my husband. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite that was clean and spacious. The kitchenette had a full refrigerator and sink with ample counter space, great for prepping/storing sandwiches and snacks for the beach as well as beverages. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows need an upgrade. The location is great and in walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We enjoyed breakfast at the Bistro in the Inn. It is not a basic menu...a bit on the fancy side. St. Joseph is a quiet, little beach town. Great for our anniversary get away.

We came from out of state and were in town early but waiting to check in. Are room was not ready and the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. We waited an hour for the room to be ready. $500 a room and they are not ready or empathetic at all. There was also no parking. The manager did go outside to help find a spot. That was kind of her. The hotel is a bit old but spacious and in the perfect location.

Close to everything in town, including the beach! Property is clean and well maintained. Breakfast at the Bistro was good. Check in was east, however, at 11:01 on checkout day, literally 11:01, the front desk called the room and said that housekeeping was concerned someone was still in the room. Left a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise pleasant stay.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. Cross the street, walk the sidewalk a short distance, and take stairs down to the beach area of Lake Michigan. Couldn’t ask for a better location, plus no other hotels are nearby.

The Boulevard Inn is a great place to stay. You can just park your car at the hotel and walk everywhere! Its located close to town and easy access to restaurants and shopping and events. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I'm in St. Joe.

It is a 5-10 minute walk to Silver Beach. It is a block from the shopping area. Many restaurants nearby. We asked to check out an hour later (12 instead of 11) and we were accommodated. We went on a Monday for an overnight stay. The only thing is that restaurant/bar at the hotel is closed on Monday. It was open for breakfast on Tuesday morning. Beware some restaurants for breakfast are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. The room was pretty clean for the most part, plenty of towels. The double beds are small though. One of the beds had a small stain on the comforter.
