I liked the location but didn't like the following: Bed mattress is old and worn out & lumpy, furniture was dirty as well in the room. One of the elevators is not working and hasn't been for 2 months...REALLY! Pool has problems and cold water!

The staff and the breakfast were superior. The elevators were not in working order. One was totally out of commission. We wished there was water available in the dining area after hours. The only coffee after hours was Starbucks.

The room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and yogurt, eggs, sausage and French toast. Small variety of cereal, they even had oat milk. Donut holes, bread and bagels with toaster. Nice location for our visit.

The carpet was stained, the room was smelly and had to buy Febreeze to sustain it, furniture was outdated, but I know the property is going through a complete makeover, and hope I will revisit it when the work is completed.

The front desk staff was welcoming and checked us in quickly. The room was spacious and clean. I’m a light sleeper and the room was very quiet. We travel often for sports and we’ll be staying at Hyatt Place again for sure! Highly recommend!

Everything was clean and room was spacious. Hotel rooms are a bit dated and could use an upgrade. Bed was comfortable. AC unit was a bit loud and outdoor traffic was easy to hear unfortunately, even from the 4th floor. Bad window seals I think. Area felt safe and there was plenty to do with shopping and dining options. Breakfast options were ok.

As members of Hyatt, we were told since we didn’t call them directly, we couldn’t drink the complimentary bottles of water in the room. When we checked in, there were no others guests but were three female employees visiting. We were an interruption to them. We left, went out to eat and the three were still standing around the the counter talking. When we returned they were still all there just chatting, no one working or speaking to us. Also, even though we chose the top floor to avoid noice of rooms above, it sounded like we had the windows open, it was so noisy all night with traffic and cars racing. We’ve stayed at that location a few times but last night was probably our last.

The staff here were probably the best I have experienced in a long time, and I travel every week! I really like the rooms in these hotels because you don’t feel cramped at all. This hotel is convenient and close to the highway, restaurants and shopping. They have a good fridge in the room which I appreciate very much. Really if they had a small microwave in the room I would give this place a 10

Because my husband and I had stayed at Hyatt Place Utica several times when we came over to Michigan for the purpose of shopping, I liked the familiarity of the location, parking, front desk and I knew what to expect when I got inside my room. I had asked for and received an accessible King. Shower area was really great, with fold down seat, perfectly placed grab bars and pump action, wall mounted containers for cleansing. Water temp was excellent but there wasn't a strong flow of water out of the shower head. I stayed Sunday and Monday nights; left Tuesday morning. When I left for shopping on Monday morning, towels that needed replacing were neatly placed on the floor and both garbage cans were located side by side for easy access by housekeeping. When I returned, everything was exactly as I'd left them - nothing had been touched, no housekeeping had entered. I went to the front desk, inquired as to why - I didn't receive a reason, an apology nor even an offer to remove the garbage. The employee had been vacuuming one of the areas in the front lobby but even with the vacuum in hand never offered to come down to the room and do a bit of cleaning. She did ask if I wanted anything and I told her I needed replacement towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. 2 of each were placed into a bag and handed to me. I put the bag on my rollator I returned to my room. I appreciate that the hotel is under different management but there was definitely something lacking.

I always stay here at the Hyatt when visiting family. The staff is wonderful, the facilities are comfortable and any issues are taken care of immediately. The breakfast is exceptionally tasty! The hotel is centrally located.

I didn't like the lady at the front desk, she was not nice. I had to wait 2 1/2 hrs to check in . my check in was at 3 I couldn't check in until 5:29 pm.because the rooms wasn't ready for check in.

This was our first time here and we started off by a great greeting at check in. The service was amazing at any point we needed it during our stay. Rooms were big and spacious. Break was great for being included. The bar downstairs is open until 11pm. Don’t have any complaints to be honest. Would stay again.

On their website, a restaurant (with a menu) and bar was listed. That was why we chose this hotel. We were in town for a concert. We wanted hassle free. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. No restaurant and the tiny bar that was there (mine is bigger in my house and I offer more) was open until 11:00 pm. The website is misleading. However, it was clean and the front staff was friendly.

The hotel is lovely and very clean. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The problem lies in the website says there's dining and a bar when it really isn't. I wanted a cocktail but the gentleman on staff struck me as not being fully knowledgeable in bartending, so I opted not to even order it. We only had a choice of wings, fries and pizza. There were cold sandwiches in a refrigerator case(not sure of freshness). Only one elevator was working and guests were allowing their children to play on the elevator. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

My biggest complaint was that the hotel offered food but it was next to inedible. We got in late and ordered pizza and parmesan fries. Instead of trying to find a local pizza joint, we saw we could order right from them. Well the pizza was personal size, served hard as a rock with a sawdust flavor crust. It literally tasted like some thrift store pizza. The fries were of a small portion and seemed to be air fried to a crisp with shredded parm thrown on top. I really wanted a refund bc we threw it out. Breakfast the next morning was worse. My husband and daughters said the only thing edible were the sausage links. If you're going to offer food, and especially charge alot for it, it should be edible at the least. Otherwise, just have some menus from local spots available in each guest room. I travel often and really don't complain but this time I felt it necessary. This was my first time at a Hyatt hotel. The hotel itself was very clean and front desk staff at check in were pleasant. But the food quality was just nasty.
