Very pleased with my stay. The one thing I hate about extended hotel stays at other places is noise from other people staying, having calls from the desk asking if you need things or cleaning staff knocking at 8:00am even with a DO NOT DISTURB sign. None of this happened here. If you need something, just ask, you won’t be bothered otherwise. It’s very quiet & close to anything you would need for food or shops. Plus, the pool is an decent size & very clean. I will be staying here again when I’m traveling through the area. Thanks for the quiet, relaxing stay!

This hotel has some issues first off the whole hotel smells of weed and smoke secondly the elevator there is only one by the way and it violently shakes when going to the top floor and the certificate of maintenance that’s supposed to be in the elevator just has a sign that says please see front desk for certificate which is a giant red flag, we left this hotel and stayed at another one we did not complete our stay we were in the room maybe 10 minutes and then left and checked out quickly.

The staff was amazing, but there were frequent times when no one was available for assistance. The hallways, and entrance itself were covered spiders, spiderwebs, and other bugs. The room was beautiful, and comfortable, but there was some unknown dried substance on the bedroom door, and the jetted tub had a spider corpse and a thin layer of dust in it. I had also decided to use the laundry room, and it had an odor to it that was difficult to withstand. The ceiling at most parts of the room and building seemed to be falling apart. I would stay at this location again, as the bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff was great, but I am very cautious about cleanliness.

Elevator should be located in center of building! Being at the opposite end of the hall from the elevator it was quite a hike to the elevstor from our room and then to the main lobby. Not a problem for us but elderly could have difficulty. Otherwise, great property and staff and would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was decent. For the price, I expected a better breakfast, although made it work for us. I'd suggest adding some chicken options or turkey sausage for breakfast as a variety. The pool was open however it appeared to be low in water level. We only stayed 2 nights so we did not have an opportunity to try it out. We booked this hotel since it was 38 minutes drive from Lurray Caverns. I think it may have been higher priced due to the holiday weekend, however it worked for us compared to the high amount closer hotels to Lurray was charging. As others have mentioned, there is a huge spider web near the front entrance right side of the hotel. I'm not sure if they are keeping it there to preserve nature, or they just never noticed it. Overall the check in was great, we arrived very late on a Friday night and the receptionist was very friendly and provided us suggestions/attractions near the area. The tub in the room needs a refinishing as there are some brown scratches near the drain. The room had some odor in it, however once we turned on the AC the smell went away. It came back when we left for the day and the AC was off again. I'd suggest to the hotel staff to leave it on prior to a guest arriving. Or maybe identify where the root cause of the smell is coming from. There is many local restaurants around the area to eat near the hotel.

The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Service was not that great, I expect people at reception to greet with excitement, it wasn’t the case (maybe a “welcome” or “good morning” rather than “how can i help you”. The hotel really needs renovation, rooms are very old and outdated.

The room was very nice and clean but the whole reason I even spent that much money for 1 night was so that me and my wife could enjoy a pleasant evening together on our day off and relax in the jacuzzi tub in the room but the jets on the jacuzzi tub had no pressure at all and I was very upset about that. But the property and rooms are very clean and nice but I paid all the extra money for the jacuzzi tub which I did not get to enjoy and when I told the lady at the front about it her reply was that they would get maintenance to fix it so I feel like I got ripped out of all of that money and not even offered any accommodation. Honestly the shower head sprayed harder than the jets in the jacuzzi tub and I have been in thousands of these tubs I also use to install and service them so I know how they are supposed to function.

In general not a bad stay, but the staff was particularly resistant to helping me with an early check out without penalty. At check in on Friday there was an error with the checkout date which was incorrect. We were to checkout on Sunday, but were told it was Monday. Needless to say all I was looking for was not to be charged for an extra night that was never in play, The final decision which I deemed unfair, & poor customer service was to charge me a $40 early checkout fee. I think we can agree that they still had the room available for someone else where they made money, on top of the fee they collected from me. I do not intend for this location to be a future consideration for a stay.

We had a great stay and the condition of the hotel was very good. I only rate the Service as Average, however, because the person at the desk when we check out said she could not give me a paper copy of my receipt because I had made the reservation thru Expedia and she didn't have access to it. I stayed at 7 Holiday Inn Express hotels on this trip and this is the ONLY one that would not provide me with a copy of my receipt. If what I was told is true, and I have my doubts, then the procedures need to be changed so that the hotel can provide guests with copies of their information if they request it.

Disappointed. A few hours After I checked out i realized i had left my phone charger plugged in next to my bed and I needed it to drive back home several hours away. when i called and gave them the room number and asked if they had it for me to pick up they conveniently said no charger was found or turned in. That is just not right, i was a guest and deserved better. Will never go back and if you do, keep track of your items cause you won’t get them back if left behind.

Very easy access off of 81, lots of food options here, and way cheaper than Harrisonburg for a much better quality room than I’ve had at some places there. I know there are people in the rooms next to me, but I can’t hear every little peep like you can some places. A !!!
