Langley Park Apartments

Mike at the front desk was really lovely and helpful, and the apartment is really well located, close to the beach. The parking was also very secure. Unfortunately there were hairs on my sheets from previous guests and the side table, lamps and fan in one bedroom were very dusty, so cleanliness could be improved on. Additionally one of the remotes for the fans in the lounge room was flat and so we couldn't turn it on.

The apartment on the 5th floor was absolutely great With ocean views and a balcony. The apartment was very spacious, clean and in a very good position. It was easy to get to with a lift directly from the covered carpark. It had all appliances needed including washing machine and dryer. The only recommendation is for the provision of dishwashing detergent and dishcloths as we were expected to have washed our dishes on exit.

This is a quiet property, away from busy roads. The room was spacious, with plenty of amenities. Mike (At Reception) was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean, though a bit dated and a bit worn out in places, but for the price we paid that's not really an issue. My only complaints are that there is no heating (Nights are cool in autumn) and the TV only had free-to-air channels.

The apartment had a strong odour. Very dirty in general, our feet were black from the floors, plates glasses were dirty. Bad phone coverage. Loose toilet seat. Only 1 air conditioner in lounge. Rusted curtain rails. Curtains don’t block out the light, so as soon as the sun is up so are you. Low height carpark 2m. Used dishwasher clothes and toilet paper rolls. Construction on new building only a couple of metres away. Very run down pool area, huge splintered timber and rust around the pool area, with no toilet, sand all in the bottom of the pool. Old building material left around the carpark. Our key was very hard to get to work for the lift. Good location with a good view.

We stayed here over the easter long weekend 2023. We were able to check in early. If your vehicle is any higher that 2m you wont fit in garage. Had a lift to floors which was great. Room was okay definitely could do with a feeshen up and a good dust. View was great. Was a short drive to sunshine plaza and a quick stroll to a patrolled beach. Fans in the second bedroom wernt great.

While the location is brilliant - only a short stroll from the beach, restaurants and an IGA, with epic ocean views, the unit itself is in disrepair and in need of an overhaul. Scratched walls, moldy rusted curtains and fixtures, the balcony screen door had fallen off its rollers which was dangerous, especially around a toddler. There was no complimentary tea nor any dishwashing tablets for the dishwasher supplied. We were happy to hand wash crockery, just frustrating. The toaster didn’t work properly, the fan in one of the bedrooms had an old remote with the battery half-dead and the back of the remote missing, so the fan didn’t work properly. The balcony had mesh covering the bottom half of the fencing. The pool was sadly filthy and while it was advertised as heated, it wasn’t. Didn’t stop us hopping in but was disappointing. Upside: comfortable clean beds, a handy lift, great views, not too expensive at peak holiday time, close to necessities. Friendly reception staff. Just very, very basic.

Very disappointed. The rooms and building are old and dirty. Pool clean but very old, rusty and weather beaten deck. Construction site next door which was not communicated to us prior to checking in. Room tidy but dirty. Smaller second bedroom needs a lot of work. All furnishings old and dirty, curtains melted to the glass. Smelt of cigarette smoke. Plugs don’t work. Not enough towels. Really tried to just ignore it and have a nice holiday with my family but would not recommend. Owners need to take more pride in what they are charging people for. I should have asked for a refund!

The manager was very friendly and always answered the phone if we needed anything. As we had an appointment late in the afternoon he gave us a late checkout but not just a normal checkout he told us to just take our time. Cannot fault the management. The room we were in could use a deep clean but overall we had everything we needed. The pool wasn’t really kid friendly as there was only one depth no steps. This wasn’t a huge issue for us as it was to cold to swim anyway.

the location was excellent for the price the unit was a bit dated in some areas, the curtains in lounge the most disappointing the only air con in unit did not function properly , had to go outside and turn off and on. very hot at times

The view was spectacular. The apartment was in need of a thorough clean. Dusty on window ledges, shower recesses need scrubbing. Hot water ran out quickly if washing needed to be done as only a small system.

Die Unterkunft wäre super, aber man müsste mal alles putzen. Mike war super, sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar👍 Betten und Badezimmer waren ziemlich sauber. Aber der Boden war sehr fettig, die Waschmaschine extrem dreckig und die Küche auch nicht appetitlich und es war sehr staubig. Sehr schade, die Unterkunft ist sonst sehr gut gelegen und auch schön.

Construction on the new apartment block next door means noise and lack of privacy in your bedroom, site workers starting to arrive before 6.30 and materials clanging in high winds/storms. Our apartment felt old and weary (except for recent renos in the bathrooms), faint urine smell on the lounge, tv in kids room didn't work and our bedroom door wouldn't shut from movement/water damage swelling. Overall a good spot for a few nights, great location and friendly manager. Place is value for money but needs deep cleaning and tlc

Good location.No air-conditioning in main bedrooms.only fans were available. Property was not cleaned properly.

Not clean , fridge unclean, rubbish from previous users still there, mould in ensuite so we used main bathroom , dirty curtains

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with an accommodation. I had booked a deluxe two bedroom two bathroom apartment for myself and my brother in law as an essential stay prior to my sisters funeral. We arrived after hours, because of a delayed flight from New Zealand, and torrential rain a week after Cyclone Alfred. I agreed to phone on arrival to obtain keys. The signage was so poor I went into the wrong apartments. When I finally negotiated the correct apartments, even though the manager was on the premises he only directed me via phone to get to Reception, to collect keys, to negotiate an awkward car parking space, and inspect the premises - all while pouring rain, dark , unlit. treacherous tiled stairways to discover the most disgusting filthy room I have ever been in. Smelly, dirty bedspreads, 3 threadbare towels, three sachets of out of date coffee and tea , a collection of used opened assortment of previous tenants food , torn and tattered and dirty curtains or what was left of them on the windows , leaking doorways and windows , rain coming in dripping on floors, drawers filthy , utensils dirty, cupboards shoved with appliances stacked haphazardly, half empty toilet rolls, no wifi instructions, Clean sheets but poorly made beds, spider webs on the interior windows with dead blowflies caught in them , everywhere I looked I discovered more built grime! Too tired to negotiate anything - put up with it for one night - then vigorously complained.

Our room needed to have a thorough clean by professionals. The microwave and fridge hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The kids room smelt like wet carpet. The windows were dirty. The sheets and towels were beautiful and clean however.

Not to the expectation. Only one aircon in living, no aircons in bedrooms. Not ideal for summers.

The apartment was furnished beautifully, and had great views of the ocean. Unfortunately the bed was so horrible I slept on the couch. Also the strong winds made a loud howling noise through the windows which was as unbearable as the bed.

Pros: good location, spacious, tidy, safe, reasonably well equipped. Modern and clean batherooms and beds were really comfy. Cons: glass balcony doors not clean, kitched cupboards not clean, hanging glassware dusty. A cornchip was on the floor beside bed with bunks, as was a piece of unchewed gum and a clothing tag. TV remote and stove cooktop were hard to operate. Could hear construction work next door.

Verandah on the unit we stayed in was on a slant with cracks, felt very unsafe to walk or even sit out on it! Unit was very tired and in need of a overhaul and freshen up in every aspect.

Window in the main bedroom does not open, so totally reliant on fan, which was not ideal. TV did not work, very appreciative of manager replacing mid stay.

Enjoyed our stay, the host was very friendly and accomodating.

Manager was great right from the start we felt welcomed . Great unit and well stocked . Only down side was no cleaning cloths in kitchen so we couldnt clean benches before we left . Will definitely be staying there again . 💯

Mike was super friendly and helpful. The apartment size was great for our family and there was everything we needed. Bathrooms were a great size and washer and dryer were great quality. Thanks for a great stay.

Located in an awesome area right across the street from the beach. Plenty of shops down the road. Sunshine plaza a short drive or walk away. The apartment could use a little upgrade but it was comfortable with a stunning view of the beach. Property manager is very nice and helpful too. Would definitely stay here again

This property is in a great location. Beach within easy walking distance a great choice of restaurants all in walking distance also. Apartment was clean, modern and had great views. Would stay again for sure.

Great stay, close to the beach. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Comfortable rooms, very spacious and airy.
