The food in the new resturant ‘Sexy Roman’ was amazing. The service at the pool bar was very good. The ancillary staff no so much they actually turned the mobile air conditioner away from my wife and myself to use it to circulate air around the room. This was done when we were the only 2 there. Room was clean and well appointed.

I called and spoke with the concierge twice regarding booking a dinner reservation for my stay. Upon arrival, the front desk had no clue about the reservation and it was not booked. The pool only has maybe 20 chairs for hotel guests. The rest of the seating around the pool (the good seating with ample shade) is reserved for bottle service only. The pool manager confiscated my shirt that I left on a “reserved” pool chair for purchase at 10 am while I was grabbing food 50 feet away. I didn’t realize the rules and was asking around if anyone had seen where my shirt went. There were no towels at the pool until 2 pm. I had to go up to my room to get a towel. All the pool chairs that had pool towels on it were dirty from the day before. The AC in the room didn’t work very well. I will not be returning.

Came here for the night for my 2 year anniversary with my partner! If you want to feel luxury the moment you pull up to the property, you’re going to get it. Expensive cars pulled in and the moment you walk in you can feel exactly what you’re paying for: a high class stay! This is what I find highly important!!!!!! Make sure if you’re eating/going to the pool on site that you bring the proper attire!! Each area has a unique and specific dress code to get in, so make sure to check your email for info from the W Scottsdale! (Honestly it felt good coming dressed up, everyone there is dressed up) My stay was amazing! The music downstairs is loud at the pool but they don’t go into the night even on Saturdays, they even congratulated us with an upgraded room when I told them about why we chose them for our stay (like I said: read your emails from the W!) The service is phenomenal! Calling the front desk? Maybe it rang one time! Calling room service? They’re fast and helpful! With a unique menu that made me feel like I was eating out while staying in (we aren’t big parties), the food was some of the best I’ve had. I recommend staying for even just a night when you want luxury and a relaxing stay.

Checkin was easy. Kyle at the front desk was helpful and courteous. Couldn’t get the air conditioner to cool down the whole room. The double queen bed on the 5th floor was spacious. The shower water temp is easily very hot. We tried the Roman restaurant for lunch and it was delicious.

Awesome staff and great property to stay in Scottsdale. Shopping malls, dining spots, and Old Town Scottsdale are all within a nice walk. Amenities on the property were great - fun time at the pool with great drinks! Just a couple of things in the room that we weren’t happy with; first off the mini-fridge was super-packed with a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks not leaving any room for anything else. Bottom line, don’t expect to bring any outside drinks or snacks needing refrigeration to fit unless you empty the fridge. The safe was acting finicky at times so let the front-desk staff know. Finally, the bed - I’ve stayed at other Marriott hotels with comfier beds. I would probably return to this property in the future considering how everything in the area is in walking distance and the customer service was excellent!

There is a couple of restaurants to choose from and was overpriced; we ate outside of the property, which has great options in walking distance. The staff was not as pleasant , would not give us the exact amount of their incidental fees. We had a corner room; it was extremely small and awkward. The bed was in the middle of a limited space. There are other options; just make sure you do not choose the corner room. Would not allow us to change to a comparable-priced room that allowed more space. Tight space for sure. We have stayed at W's many times before first time experiencing challenged customer service.

I understand the bougie vibe attracts a lot of hustlers… but it’s super tacky and quite frankly disrespectful, when as guests of the hotel, we were treated so poorly by security when we tried to access the pool. Such a shame! Otherwise it was a lovely stay! Amazing restaurant, the cart bartender lady is a gem and truly understands the hospitality experience. Bravo to an amazing team all around… except for that one guy by the back entrance to the pool! Ah, the ice cream and champagne surprise at the lobby was incredible!!!

Worst customer service I have ever been to. I have been to multiple W hotels around the world, yet this was by far the worst location in terms of customer service and staff. I am not sure how the W gave them the license to run this location. Terrible, would never book again!

I booked a 3-night stay at W Hotels from 5.24.2024 to 5.27.2024. On 5.25.24, the hotel hosted a pool party run by a third-party vendor, open to paying outside guests and hotel guests at no charge. My guest and I occupied 2 pool chairs, and during my time there, I briefly napped on one. After waking up and eating, staff asked us to leave, citing my nap as the reason. I explained I was a hotel guest and requested to speak with a manager, but none arrived despite promises (I have 2 separate videos of different staff saying they were retrieving help/ management). Instead we were notified police were called, so we left the pool area and returned to our room. As we entered our room, Police officers came to our door and we were told to leave within 15 minutes or face trespassing charges. Hotel manager Stephanie Baxter offered to comp one night but denied further compensation, despite my video evidence supporting my account. I offered to send her the videos to eliminate hearsay but she refused. Shaun Baker was supposed to follow up but didn't. Malika Sidler promised to send pool rules but never did. I had to reach out to Nate Lopez several times before getting a hold of him. He stated we were asked to leave by Police because we were being defiant, however the Police asked us to leave as direct orders from the Hotel Ownership. We were left stranded and incurred additional cost for a new hotel. I am in process of seeking a full refund of $1,131.72 for this disappointing experience.

We had issues with the ac unit cooling the room. We had two employees come up and check the ac and everything seemed to be working, unfortunately I was unaware the window behind the curtains was slightly cracked which was allowing the cool air to escape. I didn’t discover his window until checkout and I think this is a big reason we were unable to sleep and the room was unable to cool down. My biggest issue is the access to the pool. We had 16 people staying at the property for the Cowboys game. The doorman “james” refused to let us access the only bar/breakfast area before we left for the game. Also the previous day we had the same issue with the door guy allowing us access to the pool due to us wearing “cowboys” gear. The rules need to be posted or a little more defined especially for guests staying at the hotel.
