Room was ok, slightly small, and comfy. Dining room very run down, needs a complete make over. Very few staff to cope with amount of customer's., food was rubbish im afraid, half of what we ordered was not available and this ruined our stay. We would not stay again or recommend Dining there

Good location, easy to find and travel to and from, check in was a bit slow just waiting for staff but this may have been due to a busy restaurant. The cups and glasses werent very clean but we just rewashed. The room itself was very warm and not much soundproofing from other residents or the outside traffic but still managed a good sleep. Food in the restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced good variety on the menu. The staff were very friendly especially the breakfast staff the lady working that shift was very pleasant and despite being rushed off her feet made time to check on everything breakfast itself was also very good so made for a good start to the day!

The hotel requires money spending on it, information needs to be provided on restaurants opening and closing times. Restaurant closed at 7:45pm even though a green king chain. Sign of the times as reception not manned but a number is provided for you to call.

Car charger did not work during the stay which is frustrating considering I would have booked somewhere a little nicer otherwise. The room was clean and comfortable although it did smell a little stale. The full English breakfast was poor quality and I wouldn’t eat it again.

I really would recommend this hotel to stay in. The beds are absolutely dreadful. They are harder than concrete. We had to stay here 3 nights because of work, and I’m going to need back physio. Every team member had a dreadful nights sleep. The rooms were absolutely boiling hot for no reason. The hallways and outside were cool. The bathroom was dirty and had snot up the wall. Hair from someone’s shaving all around the sink. Everything about it was just awful. Would not return or recommend.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean, bathroom was clean too. Big bath which was a bonus for me due to being quite tall. Good tea and coffee making facilities. Room was quite warm even with window open and the use of the fan which was provided.

Radiator was on full heat even though it was showing as turned off which meant an unbearably hot night with 2 dogs. There was no one you could speak to on reception even after ringing bell multiple times no one came, notified reception in the morning who said they would sort for second night but got back on the second evening and room was still boiling hot despite radiator saying it was off it was still boiling to touch, again no staff around to speak to so drove all the way home that evening as couldn’t face another night

Bit expensive to get taxi to and from the ICC where RCN congress was taking place so opted to walk. fine during the day but not overly safe route after dark.

Convenient location. Traffic noise was quite loud when the window was open. Breakfast was understaffed. Room was clean but looked a little tired. Coffee cups weren't cleaned

Room was ok, slightly small, and comfy. Dining room very run down, needs a complete make over. Very few staff to cope with amount of customer's., food was rubbish im afraid, half of what we ordered was not available and this ruined our stay. We would not stay again or recommend Dining there

Good location, easy to find and travel to and from, check in was a bit slow just waiting for staff but this may have been due to a busy restaurant. The cups and glasses werent very clean but we just rewashed. The room itself was very warm and not much soundproofing from other residents or the outside traffic but still managed a good sleep. Food in the restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced good variety on the menu. The staff were very friendly especially the breakfast staff the lady working that shift was very pleasant and despite being rushed off her feet made time to check on everything breakfast itself was also very good so made for a good start to the day!

Very clean, comfortable room. Great staff, very accommodating. Really convenient having the Wacky Warehouse on site when staying with children. Good food and reasonable prices. Would definitely stay again.

Staff are wonderful - very friendly, attentive, and professional. I've seen lots of other reviews saying the same. Room was very pleasant, clean, and spacious. Just looks a little dated, as does the whole building. Breakfast was a good experience, with plenty of options in the continental buffet (cereals, fruit, pastries etc.) and decent cooked food. Overall a little expensive for what it is, but perfect for night's stay while working nearby. Staff were great, room and breakfast were also good.

Lovely rooms at a pub, 5 mins from Celtic Manor. Helpful staff, good breakfast and good setting. Will certainly return next I'm in the area.

Car charger did not work during the stay which is frustrating considering I would have booked somewhere a little nicer otherwise. The room was clean and comfortable although it did smell a little stale. The full English breakfast was poor quality and I wouldn’t eat it again.

The room had everything we needed including a fan which was very well recieved. The bed was quite hard, which we couldnt do anything about obviously. One of the dials in the shower was loose and fell off when you turned it, but overall our stay was what we expected for the price.

The rooms are very basic but are clean and do the job... there is no air con though. Plenty of safe and swcure parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pub and dining facilities are very out dated, grubby and smell of stale food/beer. Didn't eat there except breakfast that was ok. Not great for over £100 a night.
