Location was excellent. Everything was very clean and tidy. Staff were polite. Spacious room. Great value. Tea and coffee in room was a bonus, however, there was only fruit teas no breakfast tea. Breakfast choice was excellent with a fully stocked Nespresso coffee machine. The only thing missing in the property is a lounge bar, where you could just relax with a drink, without leaving the lovely Aircon environment.

We were very happy with our stay. Good location, room was fine, cleaning and service perfect and friendly. I wasn't sure if breakfast was included, but we were told at check-in that it was and what a treat! Wonderful typical Spanish spread, but also a lot of things if you were not into a tuna tostada.Would stay again! We never found their underground parking, but managed street parking everyday - 3 hours were 2,5 EUR and you can prolong as soon as it is expired.Free from 20.00 - 09.00 and in weekends. But you need to be vigilant about paying (there is an automat and you can do it by app - we only used the automat) as those parking people were circling like wolves. Remember to only use green and .blue parking (marked very clearly) as the red is only for residents.

Das Hotel liegt am Rand des Stadtzentrums, aber dennoch sehr günstig – alles ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind hell, überraschend geräumig und mit großen, bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Lediglich der Aufzug wirkt etwas in die Jahre gekommen – das trübt den positiven Gesamteindruck aber kaum.

Hôtel parfait mais une fois de plus fausse information d’Hotel.com qui donne un parking sur place mais l’hôtel n’en ai pas équipé. Il y a un parking à 200 mètres mais c’est un parking public 22€ les 24 heures. Difficile de s’arrêter devant l’hôtel pour déposer les bagages Larue est étroite et en sens unique

I found the hotel pretty good in all respects. Reception staff were excellent. However, it was difficult to find, and had no parking at all One minor thing, I thought the lifts were too small, and the doors took ages to close

Ein super Service des Personals und das für spanische Verhältnisse sehr gute Frühstück können leider das sehr dunkle Zimmer und die unserer Meinung nach unsicheren Lifte nicht aufwiegen. Die Lifte springen und ruckeln sehr stark nach. Auch ist die Wartung laut Schild überfällig. Man fühlt sie ch sehr schnell nsicher.

La habitacion amplia y limpia, tuvieron el detalle de poner una cuna bugaboo para la bebé. No probamos el desayuno del hotel. Comparte edificio con el otro hotel de la avenida, de manera que tiene zonas comines reducidas. Como sorpresa tiene una pequeña sala con 2 recreativas gratuitas donde se puede jugar a clasicos de hace años.

Yes, the room was clean. However, there was a stale smell of smoke in the room that the staff did take care of. The staff were excellen - helpful, pleasant and extremely professional. The breakfast was also excellent- a real pleasure I would say. The hotel is also in a really good location, situated as it is right on the edge of the historical centre with everything within walking distance.

Really friendly staff. Hotel location is good. Clean room and bathroom. Slight safety concern as when 8 floors up and no safety barrier on window that opens up fully is frightening. Overall an excellent stay.

El hotel está muy bien, excelentemente situado y el personal muy amable. La habitación es grande y limpia, el único inconveniente es que el colchón es un poco antiguo y suenan los muelles, con suelo de madera limpio. El baño es pequeñito pero tiene ducha, lo que es muy cómodo y también estaba muy limpio. La televisión tiene Chrome cast y Netflix, difícil de encontrar en hoteles de 4 estrellas. Si no le pongo un 5 es por el colchón, lo demás es excelente.

The hotel Carlos III was a short 5 minute walk from Cartagena railway station and about a 15minute walk from the centre of Cartagena and the Roman Ampitheatre. The hotel staff Jose, Andres and Isabel were extremely welcoming and helpful concerning local restaurants and the provision of a map to navigate to the main museums and attractions. Check in and check out were quickly executed. The rooms were spacious and well equipped with every facility to make a comfortable stay including a kettle for tea and coffee. The bathroom was again well stocked and had a warm rain shower. The location was quiet and located just off the Av Alfonso XIII -a busy main road with restaurants, bars and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would choose this hotel again when visiting Cartagena.

The hotel is fairly close to the station so convenient when arriving. Initially appears a little further from the main centre but once you get your bearing it’s not far at all. The hotel, itself, is a straightforward facility about which I have no complaints. Nice staff too.

The hotel itself was great. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. We were worried about the area when we arrived as it looked run down. Once we explored it was only a short walk to the main areas with lots of attractions and restaurants and the local cafes etc were good. We even found a Michelin star restaurant across the road…. Magoga restaurant is fantastic. Probably the best meal we’ve ever had!

Rummen var stora. 2 rejäla kuddar i varje säng som var sköna. Badrummet behöver nog ses om lite. Men fanns fön och dem hade både tandborste och tandkräm samt kam i förpackning på handfatet. Vilket uppskattades. Tv med flera kanaler. Bra frukost, fanns mycket att välja på.
