One of the many convenient hotels for Hamburg Main station. The area around is a bit off putting but is reasonably safe. The hotel itself is clean and tidy however although there is a lift, due to the building layout it stops on the landing between two floors 2-3, 4-5 so stairs have to be negotiated to reach the floor where your room will be.

A small, sympathetic old school hotel right next to the main railway station. The room was clean and quiet and the staff friendly. It's not a 5-star establishment, but good value for the price. It's an old building with steep stairs, so not the most accessible hotel in town.

Great front desk staff in the afternoon and morning. One thing needs major attention that is the light sensors in the common area and specifically the stairs. It’s complete dark when you enter the stairs to catch the elevator and it takes significant amount of time and movement in the stairs to get the sensor working. Very risky
