The room was very clean and pleasant. Our views not so bad. The food was great where we ate for breakfast and at Ruth Chris. I was very disappointed in the fact that the topgolf sections were not well accommodating, and when we tried to schedule to play there was nobody there to take care of us or help, when we asked for help, they said they were on their way and still never showed up . Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay. The whole area is perfect.

First timer. Brought my mom for her birthday and we loved it. The pool on tth floor was awesome. The atmosphere in lobby was fun. Bar Rojo was very cool on Saturday night. They had a trio band singing and playing great music. Even performed one of my favorites by Sade, Smooth Operator. Very relaxing. I will definitely be back to this hotel.

I have been to numerous hotels, and the Grand Hyatt San Antonio os by far my favorite stay. Hotel staff were amazing, hotel was clean, and the gym is by far the beat hotel gym I have ever utilized. My family and I will be staying here from now on when visiting San Antonio.

Parking was way to expensive, like $58 for one night. And they don't have many good non-valet spots in their small underground garage. Waiting time for valet was 30-45 minutes. Furthermore, the the room's air conditioning was not good. I need to sleep in the cold, and the room was around 60 degrees, no matter what I did. Also the room did not have any drinking water.

It seemed nice enough, clean enough, and I really thought the sheets on the bed were great. However, the shower head had a split pipe so most of the shower water sprayed all over the ceiling, and very little came out the shower head. There was a roach in the bathroom in the middle of the night too. These problems were reported to the front desk, I don't know if they were taken care of as the person there didn't seem sincere about reporting them to the responsible departments.

Hotel was nice and staff friendly. I had issues entering and leaving parking due to issues they were having with card readers at the gate. Main issue was i found beds sheets were dirty. Seems like both beds were not cleaned, and fresh clean sheets replaced and were redressed with clean sheets after previous tenets. It was first time staying here and i had high expectations of this hotel especially about the most important thing to me, room cleanliness.

The rooms are dated particularly the bathroom. Housekeeping was subpar- they supposedly cleaned but did not empty the trash that had leftover smelly food in it and did not leave any towels. The next day housekeeping only left 2 towels and wash clothes however we were in a double bed room with 3 people.

The stay in the hotel was great! Its close proximity to the Riverwalk and the Convention Center was great! Only two minor issues. The a/c vent faces the wall and not the bed which was weird. Also, the TV wasn’t working. Kept on saying there was no signal. This wasn’t a huge issue because I wasn’t there to watch TV. The breakfast was great as well! Also, one of the detergent vending machines ate my quarters but the lady at the front desk gave me a box to make up for the one I didn’t get. The pool was great, the hours were nice. It’s always nice to go swimming at 6am. The gym was nice and large. The price of the valet parking was a bit much.

The AC in the rooms really should have a different placement for the thermostat. It’s right by the vent. The room temp seemed to vary and we had it at 70…. Felt really warm out of no where and the temp still stayed at 70. We lowered it and it balanced out

This was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. We really liked the location and how walkable everything was. The downsides were the rooms. We had double beds, which were really small and not comfortable. And the rooms were extremely hot. We all had to sleep with no covers every night and were still sweating.

Great staff, everything was clean and tidy. Only complaint is my VPN wouldn't work with the guest wifi and one night there was a loud concert next door. Just ask for a room above floor 8 and you'll probably fine. Will definitely stay there again if the opportunity revisits.

Every single interaction with staff at the Hyatt was superb - better than any of the top, more expensive, properties I’ve stayed at. This was a lovely hotel. The issue I took was that house keeping did not clean the room between 9.00-2.30 when we returned, they asked if we wanted it cleaning then but it was too late. When we asked for it to be cleaned at 4.00 they didnt come until 5.30 which again was too late. Complained about it and didnt really get any proper apology.

We had a very good time while staying at the hotel. We loved the pool, the customer service, and many other things — until we received the parking bill and spoke to the on-duty gentleman manager on 5/26/2025. We were told that the parking fee is about $47 per night, which we accepted. However, on the final bill, we were also charged a $25 “destination fee” per night, which we were never informed of or agreed to. So, I called the hotel front desk. The gentleman manager on duty explained that since we booked via Expedia and received 10% off the $47 parking fee, the hotel then charges a $25 destination fee. That doesn’t make any sense — I can do the math. Honestly, I’d rather just pay the full $47 parking fee than be surprised with a $25 fee that no one mentioned before. He was rude and spoke in a way that I believe is unacceptable for a manager at a hotel of this level. I told him we had a great time at the hotel until we had this conversation — and he made the issue even worse. In the end, he offered to waive the $25 destination fee instead of providing any actual documentation or agreement that showed I had consented to that charge. Come on — both Expedia and your front desk staff told me that parking is $47. If there is an extra $25 fee, your staff should clearly inform customers in advance, not hide it in the bill or assume we should have known. Please make sure to check your final bill carefully for parking-related fees — and I hope the hotel takes this feedback serio

Planned this last minute for our 23rd anniversary. We live in SA, so it was a lil staycation. Pretty disappointed from the beginning. From valet attendants to front desk and wait staff at Bar Rojo, they couldn’t be bothered to help anyone. No one appeared to be happy to be employed. There must be no dress code or management to oversee their appearance or customer service. We should’ve just paid our driver to take us to dinner on riverwalk, then back home.

The staff went above and beyond. We visited just before Christmas. Upon checking in, my grands received gifts from the hotel. It was my daughter's birthday, and I had cupcakes delivered, but someone else took them. The staff sent my daughter a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine. They consistently went above and beyond.

Extremely convenient to the Alamodome and nice & quiet. I’ve stayed here twice after concerts and it’s great to walk over to the Alamodome, walk back to this hotel, and then go to sleep without any street noise.

The hotel was within walking distance to meeting/convention centers, also the river walk there was only one glitch. On my last day I waited a long while to get served for breakfast. As it was not busy, the hostess noticed this and finally came to my table to take my order. She had a word or two with the waitress who apparently knew I was waiting but I was not in her "section". Even after this my food came back lukewarm. My eggs did not come with my oatmeal. I requested cream for my coffee but got milk. When I questioned the milk the answer was we didn\'t have any cream. So why couldn\'t she tell me this beforehand? I would not have ordered the coffee!

Overall a good experience. This is without a doubt a business / conference hotel but it can also be used as a leisure place as well. The rooms we clean and comfortable but a little outdated. The gym and the pool were really nice. The staff was great. The "Bar Rojo" (main restaurant) offers a very limited menu and has a limited number of tables which I found surprising for a hotel of this size. While the food was good I thought this was the only thing keeping the hotel from being amazing.
