I have stayed here befor when visiting family. Convenient location and has its oen little restaurant/bar for the evening. Rooms have been updated but it is an older motel. I was on the second floor and only issues I really had was the outside light going up the steps was not on or burned out. The other was when it snowed, they put salt on the steps but did not cleam the snow off first. Wooden steps and slush made it extremely slippery going up or down. Again, I stayed here before and knew what to expect. This is a small motel in the area and I am only there to sleep. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean and neat. Only ate the continental breakfast once and has just basic breakfast items for a quick bite to eat. Will come back here again on another return trip to see family.

When we arrived we were told that our room was in the building right behind the office. When we arrived at the building we found out that there was no elevator and it was an outside staircase and walkway to the rooms. The buildings and furnishings were old but clean.

room was very clean and smell good, however the light bulb on the side of the building was very dim and was impossible to see the last three steps. I almost fell twice and i did wrench my back by missing the last step twice.

Typical no frills hotel. Pool was unusable due to cottonwood debris. Breakfast was not worth the effort. The room was clean and odor free so that was nice. Front desk service was very fast and friendly.

Property was rated high, I was shocked when we entered the room. Awful, I dont have high standards but I probably would of slept better in my car. We were there for a race at the Eldora speedway so everything's was booked. The smell of the room was awful everytime you walked in was awful like must or mildrew. The sink had grime over spickets. The rug was stained and mildew. The beds were very old and worn. I checked for bugs and actually went to Walmart to get paintets plastic to put over the matttess. I just felt like critters were crawling on me all night. The ironing board cover was all stained. I went to use the blow dryer and it was caked with some sticky substance. It was DEFINITELY not worth the money paid. It needs a desperate upgrade. Breakfast was the same hot meal every fay for four days, biscuits with gravey. Nobody ate that i seen, i think they recycle it on a daily basis probably. Just terrible, cant rate lower then one star or would. Dont stay here.

The room was very dirty. The spa tub has hair and skin in it and dirt and rings in the tub. There was a blood spot on the bed mattress protector. The freezer was nasty. The back of the front door had what seem to be food caked on it. The yellow blanket in the closet was balled up and smelled like man it was not clean. There was finger prints all over the counters and widows of the sliding doors. Bugs in the light fixtures. Ill stop at that. That's just scratching the surface. The room was disgusting. I got there very late.. the next day I went and talked to the front desk (around 11:30) and was told housekeeping was not there no one would clean the room I could either down grade my room with no refund or deal with it. So I insisted on getting cleaning supplies and had to clean my own room they had nothing but a wash cloth to clean with no sponges or scratch pads. I will be calling the managers tomorrow morning. I travel a lot and this is unacceptable conditions. I took pictures of the room also.

Staff was nice but that’s where it stopped. It’s run down, dirty and disgusting.The continental breakfast is cereal and yogurt. How it has the reviews it has is beyond me.

The rating of 8.6 was from 2020 and no longer deserved. Our room was not clean. Stains on carpet. Bathroom fixtures were very old and should be replaced. Heater/air conditioning unit was noisy.

Very close to restaurants and stores. Bed was super unconfortable. And although I had to reserve 2 smoking rooms, because that's all it was left for the eclipse, and knew it would smell bad. It was way worse than I thought. I could barely breathe because it smelled so bad. Made me sick at my stomach.

unbelievable. what a dump. homeless ppl & drunks staying in “extended stay” rooms dog barked for 12 hrs straight. asked staff to do something- they laughed. i want a full refund! i’m SURE the homeless ppl staying next to me didn’t pay what I did for my room.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The first room we were given reeked of cigarettes. When asked, they were able to put us in a non-smoking room. If your sinuses are sensitive to smoke, be sure to bring this up when booking. The new room was an extended stay apartment which was a nice surprise. Still smelled but it was better than cigarettes. It was cheap so that keeps me from scoring lower.

Staff is top notch - we had a small maintenance issue during our stay and the staff worked very quickly to resolve the issue. Also Duffy's is a nice hole in the wall where we got to meet locals. Overall good visit and we will be back.

This is a unique hotel as it has not only rooms to rent out on a nightly basis but also has some buildings with apartments. The service was excellent and the room was all we could hope for. I liked that there was a nightstand on both sides of the bed and there were lots of lights. It was also nice not to have traffic noise. Breakfast was great; had the usual items but also some fruit and yogurt. It is a lovely place on Grand Lake. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My husband and I were invited to visit a friend's childhood hometown. we stayed for a couple nights and the room was nice and clean. There was great water pressure in the shower and the biscuits and gravy were delicious. The only complaint was the coffee wasn't very good but there is a coffee pot in the room so I made my own. We enjoyed our stay and the people working the desk were friendly and helpful.

Stayed here during the world 100 at Eldora. Never had any issues with anything. Loved the bar. They have the best pizza I have ever had. Already booked again for next year!

Friendly staff both check in and out. Room was comfortable and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. A lot of variety of cereals, bagels, yogurts, special treat was biscuits and gravy. Coffee was so tasty along with several kinds of coffee creamer. Highly recommend this place
