The shower rod was about ready to fall down, did not have local channel's on the tv (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX), the back door security did lock, a couple of light bulbs were out. They did have a nice breakfast.

This hotel was FILTHY! We went and bought our own bedding at Walmart down the road so that we didn’t have to sleep in the stained bedding provided. Everything was unkept, dirty and old! Pool area has no ventalation so we could hardly breathe just sitting in the area- musty smelling. Would never stay again. Yuck.

Didn't eat in the area but there are two fast food places in walking distance, one is next door. Also saw a restaurant in the shopping center across the street. The hotel is evidently older. While the room decor has been updated fairly recently the structure(paint, entrance floor and mats,walls,etc) could use work. Bathroom had a musty, old smell. Be aware... There is no elevator only stairs to the second floor. Not the best situation for elderly or anyone that has difficulty climbing stairs. Especially when hauling luggage on top of it. All in all the room was comfortable enough and met my needs for a short stay.

Our stay was awful. The room they gave us had cob webs hanging from the ceiling, toilet seat was about to fall off, the room had a awful smell like stinky socks, the bed had a comforter on it that looked like crap on it, the floors was not clean, a wash cloth I was about to use looked like it had a piece of crap on it. They gave us another room but it wasn’t much better, went and bought Lysol and sprayed everything down really good but still worried about jeepers and creepers, didn’t get much sleep. This is an awful place to stay and recommend no one to stay at this dump. I rate a zero out of ten for sure.

I do appreciate the hotel staff working with me on changing my reserved date! I always get a hotel with a pool for my grandson who absolutely loves swimming. However, this property definitely needs some work. The first room we were given had black mold in the bathroom and so I requested that we be changed to a new room. They changed us to a new room which was fantastic. People above us were pretty loud and you can hear the footsteps across the floor. Breakfast was pretty good.

Breakfast was warm orange juice no wall fed floppy half cooked bacon rubbery eggs. The room had two desk lamps that had 4 burned out bulbs between them. The corner above the shower had mildew growing. Absolutely will not stay at this establishment again on a trip.

From day 1 we had issues. There was hair in the bathtub. Like a ball of hair. There was what appeared to be snot in the wall in the bathroom. There was blood on one of the pillow cases. When we asked for clean ones. They told us they were clean already. We found 2 cockroaches and took pictures of them. Staff was not pleasant at all. And we didn’t stay the 2nd night but they refused to let me check out after the first day. Refused to give me the number for a refund or to discuss the issues we had. Overall the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had

When I booked this the reviews were 4 stars. The hallways smell, stuff on walls, dirty toilet, the shower did not change temperature. The shower knob was bent any would only put out super hot water. The bedding was stained. The outside was unkempt and covered in weeds. Not appealing at all.

My initial reaction to this property was positive. The room was spacious and clean. But while getting ready for bed, I discovered a lone bed bug crawling across one of my pillows. I caught and killed it and began inspecting the room for more. I didn't find any, but on the grounds that where there is one, there are more, I reported it to the on-duty manager and requested a refund, I was offered another room in the hotel, but I wasn't comfortable staying in the facility. I was offered a refund on the remaining nights on my reservation, but not on the first night. I guess I need to take that up with Expedia or the Hotel chain.

It's a very quiet here which is super nice. The staff was super kind and helpful. Breakfast is nice and warm and is constantly being made throught the morning. The property is well maintained, but could use some updates. But still remains rather cozy. Would recommend staying here.

This property is somewhat dated and probably in need of an upgrade. However, the beds were very comfortable. There was a lot of foot traffic outside of our room due to where it was located making it extremely noisy. The breakfast area was actually right outside our door, so there’s no sleeping in in the morning. And breakfast was a bit skimpy. Not a lot of choices and of the choices there was only a few of each item.

We were there for the racing at Eldora. It was convenient and priced right. Would recommend again. It was a little noisy in the morning 2 of our 4 nights. Not a whole lot you can do about that. Staff was Great!

The host of this hotel is the absolute best. It is ran by a family and they are incredibly accommodating. The pool was warm and inviting. The weather was perfect. I stayed on the 2nd floor because I like the quiet. They only thing that could have made it any better would have been an elevator. Although I appreciated the extra leg workout! Will be staying again.

When we arrived to check in we went up to our room and the keys didn’t work. My husband took them back down to front desk to make sure we had the right room. He assured him we did and activated the cards for us. When we went back up the key worked. When we walked in we immediately saw other peoples belongings. They gave us keys to someone else’s room that we were able to walk right into. WOW! JUST WOW! We were then worried that when we left they would let just anyone into our room as well.

The property was what I'd expect for the price and the brand. There was a weird smell in the lobby, but the room itself was tidy and didn't smell. The walls are thin so during the day, you can hear kids running around and screaming, but that stopped once it was after bedtime. It was a great place to stay since I needed to be close to St. Marys Lake for a wedding (it was a 6 minute drive). We were on the second floor and there's no elevator. Vending machine stole my $5 and gave me no change, cash only. So that was annoying. But overall if I needed a cheap place to stay, I'd return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property felt a bit dated, including a spongy floor in the bathroom that didn't feel completely stable, thread-nicked sheets and a very obvious stain on the main chair. The most off putting esthetic was when we furst pulled up. There were full bags of trash and empty pizza boxes piled along the building's side entrance. Not a great look. The location is very convenient and easy to get to. Given the overall state of the property, though, the value for money just wasn't there. Overpriced for what you get.

A simple one word review would be “neglected”. In prior years, the staff and conditions were stellar. This last time, the property was in a state of neglect, with broken outside door locks, flickering lights and broken fixtures inside the room and out, broken and chirping fire alarms. The best example I can give is at breakfast there was a hot waffle iron, syrup at the ready, but no batter available, not even in the back. The juice machine was on, but only dispensed water. So many guests came through hopeful, to leave with disappointment. Such was my stay.

Not enough towels in the room for 2 people. Never came in and cleaned while we were there, had to ask for more towels just to have clean ones. Always had breakfast ready. I would stay again

Breakfast was SAD. The coffee and juice tasted watered down. There was NO YOGURT, no real cereal, only the cheap cornflakes and rice krispies. There was NO OATMEAL. There were a few bananas and oranges, no apples. The biscuit was very dry. The coffee maker in the room did not work. There were no creamers. They did not get replenished.

The property was good. We usually stay here, when we are in town. My only complaints are the price seems a little high for the area and what you get (breakfast is extremely limited and not the best quality. Oranges were bad.) and the pillows are very worn out and should be replaced.
