Burn How Garden Hotel - Bowness on Windermere

Wonderful big room. So cozy. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and little balcony overlooking the garden. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious and the room had lovely views of the garden. Easily walkable to town.

I had such a delightful stay! The room was spacious and clean, with a breathtaking view that added to the enjoyment. The staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. I particularly appreciated the breakfast menu, which featured delicious vegan options. We made sure to reserve a table every morning. All in all, it was a truly fantastic experience!

The room was a disappointment. I was expecting a 4 star hotel. The room was barely 3 and the bathroom about 2. A very dated hotel that was more of a motel. Breakfast was ok but not great. Would not stay again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the room was not very pleasant—it felt quite outdated and wasn’t as clean as expected, with noticeable spider webs. In addition, it was quite noisy in the morning, which made it difficult to rest properly. On a more positive note, the restaurant staff were excellent. They were very friendly, welcoming, and provided great service, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. Overall, while the staff made a good impression, the condition of the room and the noise levels could really use improvement.

Everything was perfect! The staff are all lovely and helpful. The room was spotless and very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. We will definitely go there again.
