We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a last minute trip so a lot of places were booked or more expensive. For the price, this a great option in Key Largo. Conveniently located to Everything. Rooms were very nice. Snooks is a great restaurant and bar next door and we did the cruisin tiki, also located next door. It was really fun. Negative: The pool is very small and isn’t cleaned at all, which was a bummer. It was not clear, tons of bugs, super warm. Probably not sanitary based on the color and temperature. I never once saw an employee come to clean it the entire time (5 days). The beach area is very small, but there are tons of chairs and nice views. It was also fun to use our snorkels and swim around there. They also said there are kayaks but they didn’t offer any. Only paddle boards. If they can work on the pool situation , I’d give them 5 stars.

This is a motel/ hotel with a wonderful waterfront location on the bay side of Key Largo. It’s not fancy or upscale, but the sunset views and free use of kayaks and paddle boards made up for that. I would like to have been further removed from the traffic and commercial activity on Route 1. But the location was convenient to many restaurants and activities. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you are looking to swim on site, this may not be your place. The waterfront is rocky and the pool is small.

We couldn’t have enjoyed our getaway more! We chose to stay at Bayside Inn to spend some family time with our son who we were visiting in college. The pool, beach, paddle boards, bikes, and fitness room were wonderful because they allowed us to have fun as a family without the need of traveling far. The free Starbucks coffee machine was delicious and the sunsets were breathtaking! To top it all off, the front desk staff was so friendly, welcoming, and truly made our stay all that much more…special shout outs to TJ, Sharon, and Dashien! We will be back!

The property is small & makes it easy & quick to get from room to pool/beach Bay Area. Free Starbucks coffee 24 hrs in lobby was nice. Loved the relaxing beach area with beautiful sunset views. The included bicycles, kayaks, canoes & SUP were great! The biggest downfall was the floors in the room were not cleaned very well.

Nice motel with a variety of amenities - 2 water bottles in room daily, bikes & paddle boards on site to use, access to pool & bay with lots of outdoor seating. Unfortunately only 5 rooms have a view of bay. Starbucks Keurig in lobby makes great chai latte! Appreciated recommendations for dining when we arrived, Snook’s restaurant is right next-door and is a good/convenient choice for dining. Main issue was that when reservations were made hotels.com offered option to pay at resort but apparently hotel requires first day payment as a deposit so my card was charged even though I selected pay at resort. Also some confusion regarding payment of resort fee which hotels.com showed as included in my total balance. Found it odd that hotel did not have any of our contact information. Usually when I reserve on hotels.com I also get an email confirming from the hotel itself. Need better coordination between hotels.com/expedia and hotel.

Beautiful sunset viewing. Small shallow pool, no food or drink service but comfortable sunning chairs and cabanas. They ran out of ice consistently and had only 2 rooms with balconies. Maid service was great and room was clean. Quiet grounds.

Very nice hotel with great costumer service and great coffee! We used the little manmade beach with beach chairs (hotel also provides beach towels) and the paddle boards. Very nice location just next to a great restaurant as well.

Good location. Actually pretty quiet for being full at Spring Break time. Nice that they offer bikes, kayaks, paddle boards for no extra charge, only could use one time during stay though because of “windy conditions” though. We ate at Snooks a lot, lovely restaurant. Would stay again but only on a higher floor because there were palmetto bugs in our room and freaked us out. Could use more ice machines as well.

The beach area was nice. The rooms were very dirty, the window blind was broken, the phone was broken, we constantly had to chase after daily room amenities. It seems that no one is looking at these things from a management perspective.

The hotel grounds and location are great, but the rooms are two star at best, Walls and doors are scuffed and dirty and lamps are covered in dust. We had an ADA room and the grab bar next to the toilet had our bath towels hanging on it, which I found disgusting. Toilet paper was just sitting on the back of the toilet, not on a roller. Bedding was not quite white, had a gray tinge and just looked old and worn. If the rooms were cared for like the grounds they could charge more. If we were staying more than one night I would have switched hotels,

Property looks older than pictures. Check-in process went bad due to a reservation issue. This could had been fixed fast if attendant had worked with me and reached out to expedia. I was instead ignored. Kudos to expedia support team for working with me and calling the hotel. Room looked older than pics. Bathroom was dirty with mildew all over the shower. We saw a roach at night. We asked for extra towel and never got it. I suggest people look for other options.

Everything in my room was dirty! The floors, the microwave, the phone, the bathroom (the toilet had urine splash) the sheets have stains and all the furniture have splashes of white residue!

The hotel is in a fantastic location — definitely its strongest point. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor cleanliness and subpar service. One of the most frustrating issues was that our room was not cleaned. They claimed it was because we had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door at 10 a.m., but that doesn’t justify not returning later to clean the room as they should have. When I went down to request towels, they took a long time to bring them. Additionally, the pool bathrooms were in unacceptable condition: dirty, uncleaned, and without toilet paper. It’s a shame because the hotel has great potential thanks to its location, but it’s clearly being neglected. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they significantly improve their cleanliness and service standards.

The room is ok looking , the TV doesn’t turn on, the A/C is not very cold, the hardware in the room is all rusted and gross, the bathroom is extremely tiny and when I booked it, it said ocean view and it’s a lie, the only ocean views are suites, these are wilderness views of parking lot view, stop lying to people and when they get here, they are stuck in a box with nothing to see or a balcony to actually enjoy the keys, fresh air and all the keys is, the facility says it’s Expedías fault that they can’t get them to change it and put garden or nature view. I suggest you change it because it’s really unpleasant to think you are booking an ocean view and get here and see a bunch of ugly trees and grass outside your window. The front desk clerk was lovely and pleasant

Excellent bar restaurant made the stay in the motel memorable. Fantastic food and atmosphere. Room itself was clean and basic, beds hard, shower water pressure a dribble and AC very tired and noisy. Sound of cockerels all night! Pool was being refurbed so didn’t get to try. Staff helpful on check in. Would stay for the restaurant and view next door though

The room key device was down so I needed to get a staff member to let me in my room every time I left and came back. Once in the room it was filthy, dirty towels, found someone’s pill/medicine in the middle of the floor, floors look like they have never been cleaned as there was crumbs everywhere! The remote to the tv was so sticky I didn’t even want to touch it. This is a dog friendly hotel and my next door neighbors had two dogs barking nonstop. I could go on but why… this place has huge potential but has poor management. I was so disappointed and disgusted I left without spending the night. Waste of $400.

TJ was an absolute blessing. We got a message late about our room and she went out of her way to ensure we didn’t lose it. That alone made the trip the greatest one we have had yet. And we caught a 140lb swordfish on a charter off Key Largo to boot and the chef at Snook’s cooked us up a feast of swordfish. We will definitely be booking another vacation at Bayside!! Thank you all so much!!

the hotel gave away my room and instead tried to put me into two king rooms, one of which was filthy and hadn't been turned over from previous guests and the other was permanently locked and we could not get in. We had to cancel our reservation and had nowhere to stay. I would NEVER recommend staying here. Disaster all around

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION and quiet rooms. We loved our stay here and wish we would have spent an extra night here instead of in Key West. We took the kayak and paddleboards out on the water, rode bikes to a local park, and enjoyed watching the sunset on the water. It is older but well-maintained and very clean. There are some corners (like next to the tub) that could see a little deep clean, but overall, we felt it was pretty spotless.

This is a great hotel for relaxing on the beach or at the pool & there are also kayaks & paddle boards available for guests to use. The rooms are clean & nicely decorated . Snooks restaurant is right next door & has both a restaurant & an outdoor bar area. The food is top quality & there is live music. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the water while listening to the music! Highly recommend!

Great spot in Key Largo! There’s a Dive Shop onsite & Starbucks machine in the lobby of the hotel. Paddle boards & kayaks for guests & a nice pool! We enjoy eating next door at Snook’s too.

The Bayside Inn Key Largo was a very nice, clean place to stay. The beach area was relaxing and inviting. Also, as part of your stay you can use their kayaks and bikes. Very nice. Plus, as an added service you receive 10% off at Snook's Restaurant - which is next to the beach. Fantastic stay.
