Some of the staff was helpful. Pool was unavailable for all 3 days there. Tonya was very friendly at checkin. Our toilet broke, she tried to fix it, the following am, the lady told us she couldnt move us we had to wait for maintenance to repair and he wasnt awake yet.

This place needs a deep cleaning. The bedding and bathroom were clean. I've stayed here many times. Every time I've stayed, there's been a sign on the pool door stating "pool closed for maintenance" There's no elevator, the time before when I stayed there I mentionef I couldn't believe no elevator.(I have a very bad back) The lady replied and said "we have a pool instead". Seriously? The staff is friendly enough. They look exhausted and overworked. While checking for bedbugs(I do this everywhere I stay) the area behind the mattress on the box springs dust ruffle behind the mattress was gross. Very. They try to do the best they can. I will say Ive experienced one lady who works there and she usually makes you feel like she's doing you favor checking you in. The walls in the rooms and common areas need painted. Bad. Instead they invested in a "bar" next to the front desk. I sound petty. I just can't ignore this anymore. I believe the 8.6 is very misleading The only reason I continue to stay is because it's better than other place in town. Oh, one time I booked online, arrive and was told they're sold out. But then she looked at the computer forever and finally said they had one. I personally think they just didn't want more guests because they aren't used to accommodating a full house. My last stay was not great. Also, when I arrived I had to wait for the front desk lady to finish her cigg out front. She deserves a break. But come on! The coffee is descent.

The hot water needs to be hotter. My shower never got above luke warm. Tried a bath but the water was cold by the time I got in. The pool area was too hot to enjoy. The water was fine and clean. But between the heat and the humidity I couldnt breathe in there. I was charged an almost 70.00 surcharge when I checked in and have no idea what it is for. Wasn't told about it before I was charged. Not on the Expedia receipt. Haven't been charged that before when we stayed there. Front desk staff says it will it won't actually post and will roll off in 24 hours. It still shows pending 4 days later. Room was clean and plenty of room. Room smelled musty and vaguely like it had been smoked in. No elevator. Only stairs. Parking lot is tight. Convenient to a coffee shop, pizza place, Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Wal-Mart shopping center very close. Convenient store/fuel/atm close. The hotel "convenience store" area needed to be restocked. Check out was quick and easy.

Breakfast was a joke. The advertisement said the pool was available and it was closed the main reason we picked your establishment over the others.

Dont like complaining but pool was down, (had kids with us to go swim) door to room wouldnt shut without force, refridge was shut off so it took awhile to get cold, batroom sink faucet was loose in the countertop, and the toilet lid wouldnt stay up without holding it and for a man that is an issue ...Not bashing hotel just stating the facts.

The first room they put us in a room that smelled of ciggarette smoke, they moved us to another room {thank you!). The next room that we were moved to was clean. When it was time for us to baths then we discovered that we had no shower and no hot water. Our second day, we were woken at 7 am by construction thumping and hammering on the roof. So much for sleeping in. Evidently they were having their roof repaired. The whole roof. There was shingles and nails and tacks all over the sidewalk and all over the parking lot. I dont think I mentioned the elevator was broken so everything that we did, was done by walking up stairs and walking down stairs. So, deciding to stay in for the night, watching TV and I know this is a surprise but the roofing knocked out the satellite, I bought a 70.00 dvd player and 25.00 for movies. This was on top of our room fees. I will not be booking again.

The staff was very friendly and Accommodating. Rooms clean. The indoor pool clean but I was expecting a heated pool but the kids enjoyed it.

Our stay was pleasant once inside the room. It was very difficult to carry our bags and cooler and bikes and bring all that to the second floor with no elevator. Plus the entrance is small and you have two doors to go through, I cannot imagine a handicap person, sure they offered us first floor but two queens, we wanted a king bed, why do We have to compromise our comfort, then we realized we were in Salem, In and its all good. Breakfast was tricky, one sausage and two eggs on trays, we asked for more food, sure, the lady said, and then she went to smoke a cigarette. Odd behavior some may say but it's true story.

Overall it was okay. But with an “excellent” rating, I expected more. The issues listed are more informative than complaints so other people know what to expect. The room and lobby were very clean. But the pool area had black mold around the windows and on the floor tiles. The pool was not heated, which was very disappointing. The breakfast area is very small. Only one person at a time can get food from the sections and there weren’t many food options. There was a very strong marijuana smell more than once both near the lobby and upstairs near our room. Overall it was okay, but I expected more from all of the reviews I read.

My daufhter and i had a mother/ daughter weekend for Mothers Day treat to ourselves. First time doing this. The Hotel was truly wonderful. Very clean. The staff was very friendly., the breakfast was amazing. The beds so comfortable. Unfortunately the pool wss closed the whole weekend due to chemical imbalance.

Stayed here a few years back and really liked it. This time, not so much. Bed sheets had stains, the room had an odd stench and so did the hallway. AC did not work. Not sure what happened to this hotel but its definitely went downhill in my opinion.

My husband and I were expecting a little more breakfast buffet.However the staff did tell us at check in that the buffet wasn't quite ready yet.New ownership takes a little time getting things around.Our room was clean and staff was friendly.Lobby was clean.

Very clean. Breakfast just ok. Passed the cleaning lady the morning on the way to breakfast and no acknowledgment from her. At least give eye contact and say good morning. Still left a tip as the room was clean. Would stay again.

This is a nice little hotel. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom sparkling! Breakfast area is small but cheese omelette very good for free breakfast! Front desk people very friendly. Would stay again!

The pillows were small and hard to get comfortable with. The room had a “old smell” maybe mold? The carpet was worn and wore down. The service was friendly and welcoming. We didn’t stay for breakfast as the eating area was small and awkward to maneuver around.

Was hard to find staf some times they had sign to pick up phone and once you did another phone would ring but it was at desk and staf was no where near it if you wanted brakefast you had to be up rite when they put it out they didn't have any extra otherwise and pool was down the whole stay nothing for kids to have fun or stay occupied with the room was nice and clean but ac unit sounded like a loud off-balance washer and you had to have the strength of 3 men to flush toilet the flusher was so hard to push down we thought we would break it it was and wifi was spotty kept droping at one point i had to leave to finish my work it was a very blah i have stayed there on other occasions and it was so nice this time for the price i paid i was disappointed

Very loud there. Did not get a good sleep. Yapping dog next door. Had to call the front desk.

Comfortable room and clean

The room was very hot and climate control didn’t work well. It wouldn’t cool off well enough, and the unit was incredibly loud. Those factors combined with the hard beds left everyone with a poor night of sleep. Would not reommend.

Ac fan was a little loud

Thin walls. Could hear loud tv from room nextdoor and people talking making it hard to sleep.

It was very clean. Staff is super friendly. Nice breakfast. Easy in and out.

Very friendly and courteous staff immediately arranged a lower level room when requested. Great dining recommendations! Hotel was clean and comfortable and felt safe.

No service at the front desk.tried calling 4 different times to book 2 rooms.never an answer. Finally went online and one room was 20.00 more.which rooms were next to each other. The front desk lady didn't even try to knowledge the facts.

We were supposed to be able to check in at 3pm, we didn’t arrive until 4pm and we still had to wait an hour to get our room. The worst part was having to listen to the desk clerk complain about the housekeeping staff…. Things happen, don’t openly complain about the hotel staff in front of customers. Have some integrity.

My check in was super easy. Gentleman was sweet and let me ramble on about my mothers death, which is why we were in town. Its was close to closing time for the pool when we got there and he extended the time a little so we could try to relax.

I had reserved my room through hotels.com, and this apparently confuses the staff at the hotel who I checked in with. This has happened previously. I presented my credit card for incidentals, but ended up getting charged again for the room by doing so, even though I'd already paid for the room prior to coming down. The manager resolved the issue the following morning, and I'm grateful to her for taking care of it. But, ideally this problem should be rectified with the staff I checked in with so that this doesn't happen again.

This hotel was a great choice. The restaurant across the street was excellent and had delicious food. The waiter was exceptional. The price of Cobblestone was reasonable. The employee at the desk was very helpful.

Nice area. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance and a few more not far away that you could drive to. There was also a Walmart close by.

We enjoy stopping here. It’s nice to be able to walk across the street to a restaurant but it is also quiet area. Shopping center is 2 miles away. Very nice town we enjoy it.

The toilet was broken (I had to keep the lid off the back of the toilet and manually flush) and clearly it had been broken for awhile. The drain in the bathtub wouldn’t drain so I had to stand in dirty water while showering, the body wash container was empty so I had to get a bar I’d soap from the front desk. The breakfast options were terrible.

The room seemed fairlty clean. The breakfast was not great. Scrambled eggs both mornings were so slimy wet, not tasty either. Saus links were not warm. Saus gravy was good but cool. Had to go 5o front desk & ask for washcloths after being told that we did not have. There were extra people with dog hanging around the hotel helping staff from time to time. Didnot have a profressional feel. This hotel nedds competition to make it better!!
