This is by far the worse place we have stayed. Smelly dirty filthy and now suited for my wife who has a new hip and we were put on the second floor.

Over all, the stay was a pleasant one. This was due to the location of the Hotel, it was perfectly placed near to the seafront and local shops. However the Rooms themselves were not as well set. We didn’t spot a lift, so if you’re not physically fit I wouldn’t recommend stopping here. The stairs were not a problem for us an we enjoyed the exercise. The room was partitioned off into two sections which I found very good indeed but the mattress wasn’t comfortable and booked for two nights we decided to change rooms, but then the mattress in the new room was even worse so before moving our stuff we declined the room change and made do with the previous room. There was a plug socket that just wouldn’t let you plug anything into it. So the whole time this meant we had unplug the Tv to either charge things. This didn’t bother me as I don’t go on holiday to watch Tv but other family members got upset at times. I felt sorry for other people staying below our room because the floorboards were creaking under every step that we made. The paint on the walls was flaking away in room too. Shower and bathroom/ toilet were adequate. Staff were friendly, he tried his best even though we didn’t see very many staff. There were builders outside our room but they didn’t cause any disturbances but this was a weekend stay. So I’ll leave that to your judgment. Overall I enjoyed the stay because I can’t stress enough that to location was PERFECT! Tip* Arrive early for Free Parking and don’t move!

A Hotel with potential in a great location but run down and looking tired, in need of an urgent overhaul on rooms. The care of cleaning could do with some improvement as previous tenants waste was found in rooms and residue on shower curtains which was very off putting for sleeping in the bed. Which shouldn’t be what a guest should find on arrival. This was kindly resolved and the rest of the stay was comfortable.

Well, where to start. Let start positive. No parking fee!! And great location for the beach. Now, check in was as expected. I was greeted (eventually) by well, just as I thought, and the lobby stunk of Indian food and sweat. I was walked to the room and the carpet was disgusting. This caused concern before I even got to the room. The doors leading all around, hand dirty hand and finger prints all over. I’ll attach pictures for belief but this place needs a little tlc. Like burning down and starting again. The 2 year olds bed on the second floor, was literally next to window that he could easily open. Electric sockets were hanging off the walls, curtain rails where falling down and the shower (in our room) had mould and potatoes growing out of it. The wife had to wash the shower head before using it coz it was moldy and filthy. I’ll leave pictures but after I was shown to the room, the bloke at the counter disappeared. The is a pizza place attached to the building but it looks like it closed down before I was born (60 years ago). If you’ve ever been to jail and slept on a jail bed, the bed in our room was LESS comfortable. Seagulls greet you every morning at the window, looking for food! Yeah this place is rank. Both our rooms stunk of Indian food and BO. Now onto the pics……………oh wait, forget to mention the pet spiders in the room. Webs all over the place.
