Limited TV channel selection. Very slow, weak WI-FI. No meat offerings for breakfast. 55” TV. Beautiful shower with exceptional water pressure. Daily cleaning. Elevators out of order. Thankfully I had a ground floor room. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable chair with table. Very comfortable king size bed. Quiet, cold a/c. Has pool (did not use)

The elevator was not working, since my husband has mobility issues which was obvious since he uses a cane, I asked if they had a room on the first floor and they said no. When we worked up the stairs there was no signage to tell us which way to go. After going back and forth we found the outside hallway to take us to our room which was halfway down the hall. The very least they could have done, since there were no cars in the parking lot was give us a closer room to the stair, it would have been very nice if they had given us a room on the first floor. The faucet in the bathroom is the wrong size and water pools up under the spout and to get the hot water in the shower you have to pull the handle out at an angle and to the right instead of the left as shown on the plate. The room and bathroom were clean, but the sheets were wrinkled. And, the coffee maker worked for one cup and broke when we tried to get another cup. I've complained and have held nothing back from the hotel.

Great hotel! Nice little hidden gem. Very clean rooms, cleaned daily. THE ONLY ISSUE is basically this hotel has zero internet access. Basically no connection in that aspect. Staff were excellent and room was super clean. Also lobby / breakfast were great. Lot of families staying while I was there, felt much safer than options the same price. If they fix the internet, this place is really great. Older building, but well maintained for the price. Was pleased to stay there while my condo AC was repaired.

A gym and pool are prominently advertised in their ads for the hotel. The pool was not available for use due to an inspection issue. The gym is a few aerobic machines and a rack of dumbells in a small space. All the items are crowded together. It would be tight for 3 people to work out. No room to jump rope.

Our room was spacious with good furniture. The bathroom had a large vanity and a walk-in shower. Recently renovated, but the quality of workmanship was poor. Staff were not all that helpful and lacked the personal touch. Vague instructions given around laundry facilities, there was no laundry powder available to purchase, and in fact, the laundry was out of order after all, which they didn't bother to mention! Internet was patchy, too, so a few frustrations for us during our stay.

It was clean but the only problem is the internet didn’t work the 2Days we were there💁

The hot tub isn’t working

Had to walk Three flights of stairs because the elevator was broken but the rooms were cleaned and the staff was nice

Decent place. Elevator is not working so if you have trouble with stairs or have a lot of luggage to carry you may want to find out if they've fixed it. WiFi is unusable worse than old dial up.The TV works on the internet so couldn't watch TV because a show loads for 15 minutes the plays for 10 seconds then loads for 15 minutes. We had the breakfast the first day but didn't want it the next two days. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. AC was good and cold. We mostly just slept there so it was fine for us. It's close to Stone Mt Park and I felt reasonably safe there.

Friendly staff, however we booked his hotel as it offered laundry facilities. On arrival asked about the facilities and was told out of service. An email to notify of the change would have been nice so we could have planned an alternative hotel.

Found live bugs , dirty floors , no amenities in bathrooms, marijuna smell outside

This was an ok place to stay they had to move me out of the first room because it wasn’t clean and when I asked for towels after my first night around 7 pm they were unable to accommodate so know your room gets cleaned every other day before your stay and that you will have to request things from housekeeping during their working hours otherwise. Would I stay here again- maybe if nothing else were available.

Did not stay for my booking. Booked a suite and it had a clogged toilet with feces in it. Then they downgraded me to a regular room, no discount offered, and the cable wasn’t working in that room. They said they were sending someone to check and after waiting over 20 minutes no one showed up. I just check out at that time. Wasn’t even there an hour.

Perfectly clean and spacious room. Doesn't look great from the outside but the room is just great with roomy bathroom, huge TV, microwave, etc. Bed not so comfy but had a great one-week stay.

It was very clean, neat, and recently remodeled.

Check in was easy and the staff member was very nice. The rooms have a distinct odor that is unpleasant. It’s a combination of cigarette smoke and mildew. When we called the front desk about it, the staff member moved us to another room quickly, but the smell was also present there. In the second room, the toilet was not secured well to the floor and wobbled. Something was stuck to the bath mat so it looked unclean. The internet/wifi wasn’t working so we couldn’t stream anything and we weren’t notified until we called to troubleshoot the issue. There was a small pool area that others were using but we didn’t access that area of the property. Breakfast was cereal, make your own waffle, egg patties, and toast. It was fine for what it was. We would not stay here again, though.

Room was dirty. Roaches and other bugs came into our room. We ended up checking out early due to not feeling comfortable sleeping in a room with roaches and bugs invading it. It took 2 days to get ahold of manager to discuss a refund. Hotel was difficult to get ahold of and employees were not polite.

The hotel room didn't seem clean. There was mold in the bathroom and the shower water ran onto the floor. The fridge wasn't cold and the AC unit was loud.

Had to change rooms because no one showed up to remedy the problem Staff showed little interest. Black mold in shower.

The shower was amazing! The room was clean. Breakfast was ok at best. Avoid the elevator closest to the road, that was straight uo scary!

I liked how quiet it was, and check in was quick and smooth. I didn’t like how the restroom looks like a hospital restroom and the hot water was only lukewarm.

This place is a great deal. Newly renovated, nice rooms and bathrooms. Standard beds with clean, new sheets. Better than average breakfast included which makes this place an even nicer deal. It got somewhat noisy outside, and we could hear everything very clearly. Overall would recommend.

Stayed 1 night in Atlanta to catch a flight the next day. The facility looks decent and the room we got is clean with NO CARPET! That's a big plus since i hate nasty carpet. The bathroom is clean with a walk-in shower. Looks updated with clean finishes and bright light. I requested ground floor and accessible bathroom and the facity delivered. There are 2 things that could be improved. 1st is the sliding door for the bathroom is missing a piece of harware to keep it from swing up when you slide it. 2nd is the bed. It squeak whenever you move so it's not good for light sleepers. Overall good value and a good stay. 🙂

Overall it was just an ok place. The front desk lady was extremely nice and very helpful. But I’m not sure why these reviews say it’s exceptional. It’s pretty old and lots of areas need some serious fixing up (shower, walls, floors, doors) the bathroom door is a sliding barn door kind but it hasn’t huge gap probably 2 in wide from the wall so hopefully you are ok with people watching you go to the bathroom. Walls and ceiling are paper thin (you hear even the slightest noise) kind of loud property. Rooms open to the outside. Parking was fine plenty of spots. The rooms do have pretty big tvs and you can watch Netflix or prime. Breakfast is ok eggs, sausage, waffle maker, bagels, yogurt, coffee, bananas, oranges, toast. Just ok for me us. But some god and bad points

The rooms look much better than the outside. Everything was modern and smelled clean! Even the bathroom fixtures and corners were extremely clean. My only complaints were 1) I booked two rooms that were to be joined, but had to be separated from kids room & 2 room deposits. **2) housekeeping was right outside our door when my son closed it & he immediately needed to go back in to get his headphones. The guy didn’t want to let my son in saying it’s pass his checkout which we had 7 minutes til check out. And kept giving us excuses why my son couldn’t go in for 30 seconds to get his property. If it wasn’t for that, I would give them a great review. The front desk clerk was nice and helpful

Noisy cars nearby doing burnouts was bothering people sleep

Terrible Manager she was very mean and unprofessional. The other team members I believe it would have been an excellent stay but manager terrible

The stay and property in general were fine, but the hotel kept my $100 deposit for no reason. Be leery when you leave a deposit as they will treat it as extra income.

The check in service was quick and easy upon arrival. Staff was very professional, room was clean and luxurious in relative of the price paid.

This property is decent however, I only gave it two stars because of two issues I had. The one reason you go to a hotel is to sleep. The mattresses were terrible. It made a loud noise every time I moved, therefore, waking me up throughout the night. When I brought it up to management, they acted like they cared, but nothing was ever done. They did offer another room, but it reeked of cigarette smoke. The other issue I had was security. I am a single female that travels 20+ weeks out of the year. I was awakened at 3 AM by a man beating on my door, as well as trying to open it with a key. When I told him it was the wrong room through the door, he proceeded to tell me management had given him the key and that was his room as he continued to try to get in. It took three calls to the front desk for them to answer and then I was told… But did he get in? As well as, he’s probably drunk. Which, there is a liquor store connected to the parking lot and you have to enter each room from the outside. I had to tell the man that I was calling police before he left. This property has no concern or consideration for you once you have checked in and paid for your stay. The rooms were nice and big, but to me, it’s a hotel, focus on what you’re providing.

Housekeeping did a good job. She was friendly and was able to lend us a microwave and towels when we requested it. I just don't like how you receive your guests. We arrived 3:30pm and there was no one in the area. I waited for 10-15mins. I tried calling the number and no one was answering. The receptionist wasn't even sorry that I waited for her. She was rude and I can't understand what she's saying. She looked even annoyed when I tried to ask her to repeat what she said. Property was clean but service was not good.

i was impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of staff. i stayed at this hotel while attending a funeral for a family friend and became emotional in the lobby and Sarita was very kind and brought me a tissue. A very nice example of human kindness.

Terrible service. They simply ignore your basic requests and do not care.

I was a little leary of the location but we had no issues. Clean and seems newly updated. Can't beat the price.

There were times we needed to find someplace safe, affordable, & decent to stay while in the Atlanta area. We discovered this place while in Stone Mounain and we loved it so much & couldn't find anything even CLOSE to being as nice, or as safe in Atlanta so we were willing to drive the 30 mins from Atlanta to stay here. I feel like this place is seriously the best kept secret of places to stay in the Atlanta area. The outside looks deceiving. But the rooms are SO nice and fresh and SO clean! The smart TVs are huge and you can log into your streaming services from them (just remember to log out before you leave). The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We almost didn't stay here because of the few reviews that said the staff would lie to keep your deposit. I can't afford that, so I called them to discuss my concerns beforehand. They said they've had people smoke in the rooms which isn't allowed so as long as no one smokes in the rooms, or on the property, its not a problem. I am a smoker, and so the person at the front desk mentioned that I could smoke along the fence, but I wasn't sure exactly where she meant by that, so just to be extra cautious I chose to step outside the parking lot. I would walk to the entrance of the parking lot & stand on the sidewalk there to smoke. It would only take me maybe 3 mins to walk there. We've now stayed 4 separate times & have never had an issue getting our deposit back. Also the breakfast is one of the best I've had at a motel.

This place is surprisingly clean and updated for the price. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned both at Stone Mountain and downtown Atlanta. Very happy to have found Bhagat!

Great location! Not right off the interstate and thus was very quiet. Many dining options around the area. Would definitely stay there again.

We were there to work at the Yellow Daisy Festival. The location was very convenient. No frills and the "breakfast" was laughable, but it served it's purpose really well.

We have stayed twice, and both times we have had an amazing experience. The beds are comfortable, the breaky in the mornings are great!! This is definitely my go to place in ATL.
