Pretty grotty. Disappointed. Expensive. Booked for two nights, left after one. Room was not clean when we arrived. Asked for a clean and was left a hoover, so did it ourselves. Was woken by dripping noise (was raining) water was dripping one foot from my computer charging from the mains from the mouldy patch on the ceiling.

It's true, this property is an older one but that's the reason we booked it, historical. There are on lifts, no air con but the location, the staff and the view from the top room were amazing. Shannon, Roy - the entire team was helpful and approachable. We stayed on two separate occasions in the same vacation and will be back again for sure. Bathrooms were clean and water pressure amazing for an old building. The new renovations for the top floor room was incredible - 360 degree views.

Room, bathroom and bedding were very clean. Room had lovely sea views as it was on the 4th floor. There are no lifts so the hotel might not be suitable for the elderly or disabled. The TV didn't work in our room, we were offered a different room but we refused. We were, however, able to watch TV in an unoccupied room. The staff were friendly but quite often nowhere to be seen. It says on the Expedia website that breakfast is available, but breakfast was never advertised so we ate out. The car park was very small, but the hotel wasn't busy so we had no trouble parking but at busy times it might be a problem. The area where it is located is about a 10 minute walk away from the seafront and uphill, so could be challenging with poor mobility
