Hot tub which was the main reason we chose Mantra Quay, was in poor condition. Water temperature couldn’t be adjusted, water was dirty and overall condition of the tub was really bad. Mattress way too soft and ac way too loud. not a good night of sleep. On the good side, room was really well equipped. All kitchen utensils, appliances in good condition. Staff made late check in nice and easy, and location was just perfect. Rooftop swimming pool also very good.

Clean rooms, central and nice staff but rooms are not sound proof kept up all night by cars racing etc not far from hotel and babies crying in the hotel. Also pool due to open at 8.15 I had to call reception and ask them to come remove the pool blanket so we could use pool. We wanted to have a swim before re heading off and were delayed unnecessarily with no apology. For price expected better. Also pool is nice but tiles all coming loose and can tell been that way for a while.

The rooms were clean however the kettle in our room had extreme lime scale build up and some of the bowls and cutlery were not cleaned properly. The area around the pool and the pool itself had bird poo in it. Despite this, the location of the hotel itself was walking distance to many restaurants.

The room was reasonable: it was quiet, had easy parking with lift, the rooftop pool and BBQ area looked great ( we didn’t use it, but it appeared clean and looked well maintained with great view over harbour area, the room had good block out curtains. Negatives included: the air conditioner did not work adequately, the bathroom was tired with some spots of mould present, there was a bedside light only on one side of the bed, the fridge wouldn’t be adequate if staying for more than a night or two (the freezer didn’t work - had to buy ice the following day to ensure I could transport my medication appropriately). I think overall it was reasonable value.

The room was fine. We booked a balcony with spa, the road noise is so loud it wasn’t relaxing to be on the balcony. The rooms and doors are not very soundproof so if you are a light sleeper it wont suit you.

the room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view and friendly staff. the tap water had a bit of a dirty taste which was a bit unexpected. also the air conditioner did not work. we enjoyed the stay though and would stay again.

Good location with secure parking, decent size room and bathroom (TP 3.5/5), and a nice balcony, overall cleanliness was very good 4/5. Check-in was fine, although a several hundred dollar security deposit, when room already paid in full, was a bit much (especially when it's deducted instantly, and then at the mercy of the bank, after check-out, as to when it is returned to the account), actual check-out was great, quick and easy.

Room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Due to late check-in staff were helpful explaining the process for entry for our room. The only thing that could be better is sinnage from the garage to the accommodation. Wife and I walked into a restaurant kitchen area looking for the entry. Still would highly recommend staying here.

Due to flooding in Taree and the closure of the Pacific Highway, we were unable to arrive on the 21st of May. We contacted the reception at The Quay, and the staff were very understanding and professional. Close to town, beautiful walks around the foreshore and plenty of dining options. Coles is close to grab some essentials, room was spacious and clean. I didn’t like the driveway going out of the car park, extremely steep and hard to see what traffic is on the road.

Great place for an overnight stop, having travelled all day with another full day drive the next day, it provided all that we needed. However it would have been helpful to know there was a night club across the road and being a Saturday night this kept us up till 2am as our room faced the clubs. Other than this, location and condition of room was great.
