SIXTY Beverly Hills

Very nice upscale hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills. Clean room and nice bar with a delicious assortment of candies! I also enjoyed the rooftop pool.

Your website shows a beautiful picture of the pool at night however your not allowed up there after 7pm. Very disappointing.

There's absolutely no parking so be prepared to valet the entire stay. I do mean the entire stay. The valet was $67/night. The rooms are a little more run down than anticipated. Scratch marks ALL over the leather walls and a metal part falling off the wood on the headboard of the bed... seriously how do they get so high on the wall? The "view" was just of business buildings, their parking lot, and walls. Food is mediocre and overprice for the quality. Their drinks were well made and strong. The drinks are worth the price. The bathrooms are very nice & the showers are amazing. The beds are extremely comfortable and I got the best night sleep I've had in 2-3 years. The walls are extremely thin so I heard people slamming doors & talking & running around all day & night. The valet was a little unpfrofessional and made a comment about hearing my now ex fwb and I. They really enforce being quiet due to how thin their walls are but basic items such as opening closet doors & walking around would be considered loud here. It's definitely NOT family friendly. Had I brought my daughter & nephews they would've been asking why there was a picture of a lady holding what looked like a 🍑 plug staring at us. It was literally just right next to the bed staring at you. The best part of their hotel is the pool by far. However, the pool is lacking a hot tub. Over all my stay was a 7/10 in my opinion. It was nice but not the level of luxury and comfort I was expecting out of a 4star hotel.

So wonderful, only disappointing thing was pool area (for viewing) supposed to be open sunrise to sunset, but was not open until 8 am (after sunrise) so that was a big bummer

Great staff, service, and location. If your wanting a touch of "celebrity" lifestyle, this place definitely has the feel, for much less than the bigger, glitzy, expensive Beverly Hills hotels nearby. The rooftop bar and pool makes this a perfect "Hollywood" escape. Unfortunately our September/2024 stay was in the middle of a huge construction project (rail?) fifty yards away. So the noise really sucked. The roadwork also caused the street to be coned off just outside of the hotel entrance. Our Uber drivers kept failing to arrive inside the hotel lobby pick-up curb. The rates really are reasonable for the location and vibe for sure. But with the construction noise and road work, I felt cheated paying the higher "fancy" rate. I'd call to ask if the construction is still ongoing first.

This hotel a bit bizarre. They failed to disclose that our room was in a construction zone! I would not have booked there if was advised about overnight construction. Noise woke me up on 2 out of 3 nights Elevators very slow. Hotel very dark and not as clean as it should be. On bright side, staff very diligent

1 night mid week stay for 2 adults. All staff were super friendly, rooms were clean but a bit scuffed up from used. The gym was fully equipped, superb. Never seen or tried the pool. Brunch was a tad expensive imo but the food was good. Would definitely stay again

When we requested that the front desk manager inspect the bathtub, which had hair and visible dirt, he was dismissive and stated he was the only person we could speak to. This interaction was rude and unprofessional. We later spoke with the hotel manager, who changed our room and offered us breakfast. While appreciated, this gesture felt minimal given the cost of the hotel and the inconvenience caused. Overall, the property is in need of significant renovation, as the hallways and guest rooms have a persistent unpleasant odor, with only the reception and pool area appearing clean and updated. Unfortunately, the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome, and I cannot recommend this hotel, especially given the better options available for a similar price.

⸻ Extremely Disappointing Stay This property looked nothing like the photos. The rooms were incredibly small, and everything felt dirty and neglected. The bathrooms were filthy, and the hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months. The entire place felt run-down and poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the price or the misleading presentation—would not recommend.

Bathroom sink looked dated and tap handles were broken. Shower head look dirty and needs replacement.

The hotel is in need of a serious face lift . The rooms are small, old, beat up and dirty ! . Was given two double beds when it was supposed to be 2 queens . Dirt and dust in all the corners . Peeling paint in the bathroom .. For the price very disappointed . Positives were location , good valet , good housekeeping .

The most FILTHY, DISGUSTING, UNSANITARY hotel I have ever visited. It should be shut down, there is mould and stains everywhere. The bathrooms are rotting and dirty, its unbearable and it smells. The rooms are so stained and worn, we felt so extremely uncomfortable here. Even the blinds were broken and the tv controller was sticky. They dimly light rooms to hide issues but use your phone flashlight and see white stains and scratches on sofas, chairs and headboards. I absolutely despise this hotel. We were moved to a suite as it was late and difficult to find another hotel - this suite was equally disgusting. Anyone who likes this place is either lying or unhygienic. Furthermore, we were woken by hammering in a neighbouring room. The valet was rude to my driver (and the elderly lady in the car behind) and charged us $15 for a drop-off. There was no one to collect our luggage on arrival. Our initial receptionist had terrible customer service skills, it was extremely frustrating. The ONLY positive was the gentleman who helped us transfer our luggage to the new room, I unfortunately did not get his name but he was so kind and professional. Overall, please avoid this hotel. Its small, dark, filthy and a scam. There are countless hotels nearby that are far better.

The tub wouldnt work and couldnt even be used the thermostat wasnt working so it was freezing in the room my girlfriends luggage was left in the lobby nobody took it upstairs as they said they would shower head was super dirty

Loved the boutique type style, roof deck bar and pool, room was perfect, modern and clean. Will definitely stay again!

The rooms are very dark and they are not luxurious like how they state the hotel is not cozy or makes you feel at home it’s a roadside hotel glammed up on the outside. The linens were the only positive. The walls are literally paper thin you can hear everything through the walls. In my bathroom I found an old contact stuck to the ground and there was a dirty hand print of lotion smeared on the railings. Desk staff were really nice they have a roof top patio and pool but was closed the whole time. My Uber also rear ended someone right in front of the hotel and the door man was only concerned about the guy pulling over for the guy he hit no one asked me if I was okay. The hotel was close to where I needed to be but other than that I would never stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Sixty. The staff was warm and welcoming. It was convenient located near our event in Beverly Hills. The room was big and comfortable. I would recommend a stay at the Sixty if you’re in town.

This is a beautiful hotel and our stay was good. The only problem I had was with the room I booked. I booked the queen bed room with the city view only to get there and found a large building blocking my view. Infact there was no view . Went to the front desk to complain and I was told to upgrade to the king bed room if I want a view but the website said otherwise. Had to pay $25 extra per night.

Property had nearby restaurants within walking distance. Very close to Rodeo Drive and lots of good restaurants there. Also good restaurant choices on S Beverly. Staff at the front desk was very friendly always greeting us as we came and went. Only disappointing this was the rooms are so dark when the sun isn’t out and not many light or brother lights in the room. Ella’s was good for brunch and enjoyed the rooftop bar and views.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The front staff is HORRIBLE! They are rude impolite and have no business being in a service job! Especially the guy who said he was the night manager? Horrendous experience! The room service can only be connected through the front desk and they do not want to help. You have to ask the front desk if you want to order a simple cup of hot tea. We also stayed at The Avalon and the cameo which are priced the same and they are MUCH MORE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! I will never stay at the Sixty again. They have really gone down. Boo. I never ever give bad reviews-usually live by “if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything “ but not this time. If I can save someone time and money then my review can make the difference-and maybe the general manager will look into who they hire a little more closely!

I enjoyed my stay at the SIXTY Beverly Hills. The staff and hospitality were superb. I received help in every way when needed, every request was fulfilled happily, and I felt that my comfort and peace of mind were made a priority. The interior design and materials selection in every part of the hotel were stunning. The food both in the restaurant downstairs and up on the rooftop were delicious. I appreciated how close and walkable the hotel was from everywhere I needed to go while on business and for personal exploration. I experienced an amazing stay overall!

The stay itself was fine but the majority of the staff (excluding the valet) were awful. The only staff member representing SIXTY Beverley Hills well is Carlos, one of the Valet members who went above and beyond, even helping me close my suitcase. Our first issue was with the restaurant staff. Upon checking out we were surprised to see that that the waiter had given himself an extra tip of $10 (we had already paid 20% gratuity) despite terrible service meaning we had to find our own cutlery because none were provided and the waiter served our drinks without a saucer and with one hand in his pocket. When we confronted front desk staff about this they were not apologetic in the slightest and did not even offer a refund for the stolen tip. The second issue came a day after checking out, when we were wrongly billed for 3 mini bar items when we consumed only 1. And again upon phoning front desk about this issue, I did not receive an apology, instead I was told that they would have to check with the maid and get back to me. They didn’t contact so I had to chase it again and I am still awaiting a refund almost 3 weeks later. I would AVOID this hotel to prevent a big headache.

The shower tub fills up as you take a shower, I sent a message and was told that an engineer would fixed the issued and they would text me when the engineer had completed the job. There is lousy communication here. The front desk does not answer, I tried using my cell phone and still no one answers, I am very unsatisfied.

Great place. Shower could be a bit better. However, I asked when checking out to check out with a different card, but they instead charged the original; wrong card. Which has caused me headaches with the bank for overcharge fees and interest costs…

This hotel has a friendly and informal atmosphere. The hotel has a superb location on Wilshire Boulevard, and is within easy walking distance to great restaurants on South Beverly Drive. The price is reasonable compared to the other hotels in this neighborhood. The rooms are nice, and the beds are comfortable. I recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to stay in Beverly Hills.

We stay here for all the right reasons. Convenient for us, attractive, comfortable, very nice staff. Reasonable price. But, why offer food if you can’t do it well? Room service breakfast order was messed up two out of two days: yesterday one setup for two people. Today, no setup at all. No salt, sweetener. Coffee came already with creamer when only one of us takes cream. We used the plastic utensils we happened to have with us from takeout. We were getting ready to leave…. Wasn’t going to wait for someone to fix it. Should have learned my lesson the first day and looked at the food before signing the check. The room service and rooftop bar menu is limited; fine. But why serve stale chips with guacamole? The wine selection was surprisingly good! And we will return for the reasons I stated at the beginning. You should too. Provide feedback so they can do better.

Amazing Hotel and Staff, highly recommend this to first timers to LA or anyone returning to LA. This Beverly Hills location is one of the best I have ever been to and priced very well for all to enjoy. Beautiful rooftop Pool, cute cafe downstairs with great breakfast and coffee. Rooms are spacious and clean with a view. Can't fault it!! Book now!

I stayed in this hotel for business and it was convenient to have a good place for breakfast downstairs. It’s also nice to enjoy the rooftop in the afternoon. Clean rooms and very conveniently located. I will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The front desk clerks were especially friendly and helpful. Grace really went out of her way to be welcoming. The breakfast restaurant, Ella’s, has delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. The room was a good size, except the bathroom was smaller and cramped. The bed was too hard and uncomfortable. The corner of the rug was coming up in the room traffic paths, presenting a hazard. While the staff is amazing, the hotel may need a face lift.

This hotel is extremely under-resourced and under-staffed. Restaurant is closed on Mondays so you can’t get any food. There’s no room service available at all and the restaurant has no staff so wait times long.

There were pros and cons about Sixty Beverly Hills, mostly pros. This hotel is lower cost than the other luxury hotel in the areas so the value is great. As everyone mentions, the rooftop bar is fantastic! The bed was comfortable; we enjoyed the products, the pool and the service was mostly great. A few things that went wrong include a test fire alarm that we were not warned about. Fortunately, I was not planning to work that day from the hotel as I had the previous two days. The alarm went on for hours. When it started, we assumed it was real and took the stairs down 7 flights. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they suggested we should have received a note about it but we had not. We asked for a second luggage rack and were told no but the next day we saw a housekeeper bring one to another room. Also, we had been given 3 coupons for a free glass of wine or beer at the bar. We used the one of them but the other two disappeared after housekeeping came. Overall, I would stay there again but I also recognize that sometimes you get what you pay for.

BEAUTIFUL room. Very clean. Quiet. Room 202; would request it again. Very courteous staff. Our only complaint was room service which we ordered for breakfast. Neglected to bring two glasses ice water as requested. Scrambled eggs dry, rubbery and cold. Soggy toast. Soggy, barely toasted bagel. The lox platter looked beautiful but we did not care for the herb-flavored cream cheese.

Very pleasant staff but limited by hotel services, absolutely no flexibility to assist guest comfort. No restaurant, absolutely no room service after 10pm.
