Waited 15 minutes for someone to arrive at front desk for check in at 5:00 PM. Hotel is old, musty; 1 elevator of 2 was not working and no AC on 3 rd floor hallway. Pictures are very inaccurately detailing the condition. Dark dingy carpet and mold in shower. Will not stay there again. Parking was good. Front dest young lady very pleasant.

This is an older hotel, which I don't mind, if the rooms are clean. However, there were months worth of dust on wall sconces in the bathroom, dust bunnies in the corner of the bathroom counter, dirt on the bathroom doors, and broken slats on the closet doors. We tried three different rooms, and eventually left. After speaking with management, they did apologize and refunded my stay. They said they will be undergoing a full remodel in the near future. I appreciated the call from the manager, but a dirty hotel room is a dirty hotel room. The best part of the place is the gym which is clean, cool, and well stocked.

The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a mix up with our reservations and the manger spent over an hour on the phone with me the night before we were to check in to make sure I was satisfied with everything. They even moved a pull out couch into one of our rooms to accommodate us. Henry at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful with our specific needs and food recommendations. Breakfast was very good every day. The only issue we had was the lift to get a handicap person in the pool was not working. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to San Antonio.

The elevator stopped working for going down Saturday night and on into Sunday morning when they had someone fix the problem. Was told parking free but charged for parking. 😑 Other than those two issues I was pleased with the hotel and staff.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are very spacious for 6 of us. The lounge area is big, so we had no trouble finding place for breakfast. The parking area was good and it was free. The breakfast was OK, wish they had the waffle maker, my kids were a but disappointed. This hotel is now one of my favorites.

This property is under construction. We were given a room that smelled horrible (like wet dog and cat piss) and the front desk quickly moved us to another room. All in all a good place for the price.

Room was dirty upon check in, terrible leak from bathroom sink, bed had stains on it that look like a child was conceived on it, sofa bed mattress was gross and torn along the side, hair and girls bow left in drawer, coffee pot looked like it had not been cleaned in years, pots were dirty, floor was sticky, gummy sticky stuff on the glass in the cupboard, grout in shower and bathroom floor dirty, and several other issues. For being a hotel with a kitchen several basic utensils, pots, or serving items missing. Roll of paper towel had at best 6 sheets on it. When tried to get addressed staff was initially non-responsive and I walked up to an employee telling another employee that because they were sold out there nothing can do to alleviate the problem---it was after I spoke up and explain that I am the guest you are talking about that I got some response but yet was left with a room that was still not completely clean and missing towels. I have tons more pictures but they limit it to 8 to be posted.

Older hotel, needs updating, saw many bugs in the room. When we were eating breakfast there was a huge cockroach crawling on the floor close to us. Water stains on the ceiling of our room. No central A/C, only a/c is by the window, and it took forever to cool down. Shampoo dispenser was out when we arrived, family of 5, and no sheets for the fold out couch were in the room, and not enough towels. Stains on the duvet covers on the beds, stains on the couch. Just felt dirty!

Our bed sheets were stained with dried blood. Makes one think if they actually wash them after every use. They were replaced once staff was notified. Toilet seat was loose and I had to tighten the one bolt holding the seat down. Room looked old and used up. The room could/should be updated with new furniture, carpet, etc.

Building was ok, my room smelled like cigarettes the whole stay there. Looked under my bed before checking out just to make sure I wasn’t leaving nothing behind and noticed under the beds hasn’t been cleaned. Trash and a pair of old sandals from previous people.

Room was clean, staff was nice, but the shower/bathroom situation was terrible. We stayed for 3 nights. The first night and next morning we took showers and none of us had hot water.....it wasn't freezing but it was was only occasionally almost warm. And the water pressure was non-existent...it was a dribble at best no matter which setting it was on. The next morning we got up to shower and there was NO hot water at all...it was straight freezing. They did move us rooms and were very kind about it. But the new room...the remote batteries were dead, all but one of the bathroom lightbulbs was burnt out so it was very dark. The water pressure was slightly better but not much but it was hot and the tub drained (water built up in the tub in the previous room.) The staff was really nice. The breakfast was pretty good. So not the worst place I've stayed - I just really like a nice hard hot shower and you will not get that here.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are very spacious for 6 of us. The lounge area is big, so we had no trouble finding place for breakfast. The parking area was good and it was free. Room needs upgrading, from the carpet, the bed frames and the shower heads. Housekeeping only came once to clean and never changed the towels when requested. Condition of the sheets and towels need replacement. Air conditioning blows directly to our heads and water temperature in the shower was sometimes unadjustable.

For the cost, this place was a good stay in SanAntonio. I was in an accessible room and found it to work well to my needs & I’d stay again for the $ Pros: very clean. well appointed kitchenette with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, & 2-pan cooktop plus dishware, flatware, pans, etc. Room was large - bed comfortable usb charging ports on each side of bed & on the desk lamp. elevators are fast! Cons: Can hear the people in the next room even though they were talking at normal levels. I assume they heard us chatting as well. I know this common issue at many hotels, but heads up. breakfast was just meh with inconsistent food temps & quality between the two mornings. Both days offered scrambled eggs and sausage patties as the hot items (my least favorite at hotels). The oatmeal was creamy and amazing on the day I ate later (9:30am), but almost raw and watery when I showed up earlier a day later (8:00am). I would suggest and have been delighted to see them serve bacon, biscuits n sausage gravy, and waffles or pancakes for breakfast. There wasn’t a luggage rack in the closet to set my suitcase on. Perhaps just missing in my room? Most have them. And my biggest recommendation to this hotel is to provide a dinette or place for people to sit and eat together in the rooms. Since one can cook in the room but there’s no place to sit and eat except at the desk tucked in a corner with just one office chair.

Misleading photos on the website. Property looks older in person. Not very clean down the halls because guest are told to leave their overflowing trash in the hallway and someone will empty it. Takes a while for someone to get to it so you’ll be walking through trashy halls for a while. Ok breakfast. Nothing fancy. But you get what you pay for so I’m satisfied with the stay. If you want luxury then you’ll need to go pay luxury prices. Won’t find it here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Probably was the best thing about the stay

First thing first, we have stayed at this location before and this stay was not the same...after check we noticed one elevator not working and the working elevator wasnt working(button) to get to 3rd floor where we were at(worker said just keep pressing button it has an issue) we ended up using stairs. Breakfast was 7-10am we got there at 9:30 and there was a line waiting for eggs, they were never brought out..coffee was served at night but no cream available because staff had no key to where creamer was. One of my keys wasnt working it took 30 mins at front desk to attend me since there was a customer that had an issue checking out and he was giving a free drink for the wait, i had to pay for mine while i waited just as long...we stayed two days, checked out second day didnt bother to get breakfast but we wont be coming back to this location again...

Dear TownePlace Suites Management, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your property in San Antonio. Unfortunately, my stay did not meet expectations due to several issues. 1. Booking and Refund Issue: I arrived one day late and requested assistance with a refund or adjustment, but neither the Director of Sales, Philip Sloop, nor the front desk agent, Brianna, were able to provide any help. While Sade attempted to assist me, she did not have the authority to resolve the matter, leaving me feeling unsupported. 2. Property Not as Described: The hotel did not match the description provided on Expedia. This discrepancy significantly impacted my overall experience. Given these issues, I am disappointed with the level of customer service I received and the condition of the property. I expected better from a TownePlace Suites location and regret choosing your hotel for my stay. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests. Troy at the front desk was absolutely outstanding during my stay. He was attentive, professional, and always quick to assist with anything I needed. Every time I approached him with a question or request, he responded with genuine energy and a helpful attitude. When I asked about laundry soap, he immediately said, “Of course!” with a smile and even offered dryer sheets without me having to ask. That level of thoughtfulness and proactive service is rare and truly appreciated. Troy delivered the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. He’s a true asset to the property!

The woman checking us in was the most pleasant person! She was friendly & professional. We stayed for just one night and everything was great. The pool is a little small and got crowded after a while, but its summer and we are all hot! So, I get it! Location is centralized to mostly everything you need. We would happily stay here again.

Last day of check out breakfast buffet was terrible! Scrambled eggs and sausage patties was the main course. No breads nor bagels of anything available. Coffee was watered down and not kept up. I had family from our of state and town it was embarrassing!!! We're visiting Six Flags nearby and the property area was dirty for being a Marriott. Rooms were outdated old faul smells and simply not to any of my expectations... I paid for Four rooms for two nights and wasn't happy.

Over all it was clean and friendly but the breakfast was horrible experience there was so many people waiting and waiting for food to be made and it was hard to even get anything to eat the people that make the breakfast were very slow it wasn't until the end they rushed it but by then there breakfast time was over

I booked a room here because of the marriot name and it is associated with quality. I was disappointed. The grounds were fair. The breakfast was disorganized and basic condiments were never there for both breakfasts. I ended up eating out on my last morning. The staff at breakfast were unorganized and whenbi asked for a condiment they forgot and they took forever to replace it. Very unorganized. But after breakfast hours they all just sat around eating. Thr room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. Overall it did the met my most basic needs. Would think twoce before staying here again.
