Holiday Inn Düsseldorf-Neuss by IHG

Ich war schon mehrmals in diesem Hotel. Tolle Lage, eigene Tiefgarage und sehr gut bestückte Bar. Der Barkeeper am 19.06. War super danke. Einen kleinen Punkt abzug, da der Wunsch die bestellten Zimmer auf einer Etage zuhaben, nicht erfüllt wurde, was bei 2 gebuchten Zimmern möglich sein sollte.

The recreation area and sauna were not working for the twelve days we stayed at the property, that was disappointing . Other than that , everything was great! Fantastic staff?

Bra hotell med stort fräscht rum. Badrummet var lite mindre, men rymmer en person utan problem. Gratis gatuparkering utanför hotellet. Vi bodde där två nätter i slutet av juli, och hade inga problem med att hitta parkering direkt utanför ingången till hotellet. Området i övrigt var lite ensligt, så man bör nog transportera sig med bil/taxi var man än ska. Rummet hade en bra AC. Frukosten provade vi inte, då den var alldeles för dyr (€25 per person). Jag hade utan problem stannat här igen, och det är säkert även ett bra affärshotell.

Clean and tidy as to be expected, unfortunately we checked in just before the kitchen was closing, but upon checking the kitchen was already closed fore the 10pm cut off. So we went directly to the bar for refreshments, ordered food via the Uber eats app and finished eating around midnight. Upon entering the room we found that the A/C was not working however as it was late and after a very long day (17 hours) we decided to put up with it, only to find the window was open. Perhaps the cleaning stag should have checked the operation of the rooms A/C as a part of their final checks… Reception advised and were fully supportive and advised that we should have advised them straight away as a further room would have been available, however as mentioned after such a long day out only thought was sleep…

Tout était bien, petit déjeuner super. Sauf on aurait voulu faire une séance de sauna, mais malheureusement il était en rénovation.

Nous avons réservé l’hôtel au mois de Mars 2024 et votre sauna était hors service ( cela peut arriver),nous revenons en juin 2024 et à notre grande surprise le sauna toujours hors service. Sur votre site vous ne mentionnez pas ce problème !!! On aurait pu réserver un hôtel moins cher et aussi bien mais sans sauna. Notre choix est tombé sur votre établissement,d’autant plus grande notre déception 😥😥😱

Har altid et godt ophold på dette hotel! Moderne indrettet og god service fra personalet. Der er parkeringskælder, hvilken er en stor fordel for mig

Fijn en net hotel, prima en uitgebreid ontbijt. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Von a-z alles hoch professionell und sauber.

Hatte einige Mängel unter anderen Gerät nicht. Eventuell lag es an der Fernbedienung. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht kippen oder anderweitig öffnen. Wünschen anstellen, am Fernseher beziehungsweise kann vom Schrank schon monatig, kein Staub worden Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und bietet eine große Auswahl an Lebensmitteln Getränken. Einziger Kritikpunkt der Obstsalat war schon sehr matschig und abgestanden.

Secondly, while the staff at the reception are mostly good, the “night manager” is so rude and you can tell he hates his job as he really doesn't care and you kind of get uncomfortable asking him for anything. Wifi in the room is absolutely terrible so if you are need to internet better have your own. Despite being a non smoking hotel, people smoke in the rooms which you can smell throughout the hallways, although the hotel say they will fine people for smoking, what good does it do if you as a non smoker get a headache all the time. Its like they tell people “you will be fined if you smoke” only to collect the fee and no actions at all. Our last night being there, group of people with small children had come in and they were like 100 people, at least 50 kids were running in the driveway and lobby like a kindergarten and being so loud in the hallways, we called the front desk and probably the same night manager said “oh well we tried we tried and hang up” Also what kind of hotel doesn't even have complementary water in the room???? We had to ask for a tooth brush every time, i have been in many hotels across many cities ans countries and this is my first experience of facing not having basics things in the room. Oh by the way we even had upgraded our room to the suite 😩😩😩

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Gerne kommen wir wieder. Düsseldorf ist sehr gut erreichbar mit der S-Bahn welche zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ist. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und eine grosse Auswahl. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Top

Second visit to this hotel, it’s been refurbished the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, great stop off point for travelling back to the UK. Only small gripe is why shower curtains, hate them 😀. Super comfortable beds.

For those arriving from cooler climates, you should note that the air conditioning is only standard in summer and in Germany they heat their buildings to 22-25c, so the rooms are very hot in the winter. We opened the windows normally but it was not enough and had to fully swing open both windows to try and cool the room down, but it was very noisy with lorrys going past, still very warm and letting rain in. I contacted reception after two insufferable nights and they were able to switch on the aircon remotely which made a huge difference to the room, but the hallways and restaurant are so warm we avoided eating there with the exception of one breakfast. This is a standard temperature across Germany, so expect shopping malls, shops etc to be the same. The room itself was spacious, even with the sofa bed in use for three occupants. The area is generally quiet, parking for disabled is right outside the front door and free, there is also free street parking. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice, mostly continental with a couple of hot items. Breakfast was rather expensive per person at €25, luckily our children ate for free (2 per paying adult) meaning €50 for a family of 6. The other days we went to Lidls bakery nearby for breakfast at a fraction of the cost. Three stars because of the room heat, fridge turned off so everything warm/melted due to heat, the shower constantly went between scalding and freezing, very dangerous and unpleasant at the least.

Hotel located 15 min by car from the center. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is well maintained.

Great big room, nice staff and great restaurant

Stayed here for Euro 2024. Hotel is well positioned between Neuss and Dusseldorf with the tram a 10 min walk away . Hotel is fine although room has a fridge but not switched on , so no facility to keep any liquids cold - they do have a sign in fridge directing you to reception where you can purchase cold drinks !!- but same issue no where to keep it cold even if purchased form hotel . You have a kettle and tea/coffee making facilites in your room but no milk???. Overall room was fine

Wij hadden super veel ruimte. Een eigen kamer met een 2 persoons bed en onze zoon sliep in een hele grote bedbank in de woonkamer. Koelkastje op de kamer was ook erg fijn.

First time visiting Dusseldorf and as ever you learn as you go. The welcome at the hotel was perfect. Very warm and caring. The room was great, large and extremely comfortable. Lovely lounge seating area, desk and huge bed. The shower was very high pressure and did the trick after long walks around Dusseldorf. Keep in mind this hotel, although quiet and in a very safe feeling area, is not in Dusseldorf centre. The handy 709 tram which was cheap and around a 5min walk from the hotel was how I got into the city centre. This wasn't a problem for me. But if you are looking to be in the heart of Dusseldorf, this is not it. But that aside, the hotel is an excellent standard and felt extremely comfortable and welcome throughout my 4 night stay.

Lovely hotel very clean though out staff very polite only down side a little out the way. 10 minute way to tram stop then 20 minutes to dusseldorf station or 20 euro in a taxi

Sehr gute Lage mit Autobahnanbindung. Gutes Frühstück. Leider keine Klimaanlage. Unser Zimmer war für 3 Personen zu eng/klein mit viel zu wenig Stauraum.

Was at hotel with family for Euro 24. Hotel although a bit outside Neuss and Disseldorf is actually well located. 5 mins walk to tram either way is ideal . Nice and quiet Definitely recommend it

Our hotel stay was so nice. The room was spacious & the beds were comfortable. Our room was clean & staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. The full breakfast was excellent ! It was a great way to start our days of adventure! We found a way to make the trip to Dusseldorf less expensive...walk to nearby Esso gas station & take tram #709 from Neuss into Dusseldorf for just 3.40 Euros versus 30 or more with Bolt app or a Taxi. Would recommend this Hotel Inn in Neuss, Germany.

I don’t know what else to expect from a hotel, free parking, great breakfast, huge rooms very clean and very big mattress. The other hotel owners should visit here…

Top Unterkunft mit Mega gutem Frühstück. Die Bäder sind leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sollten mal renoviert werden. Ansonsten auch Klasse Zimmer alles sauber passt perfekt!
