Check in was quick. Staff friendly. Hotel being remodeled so wasn’t the greatest appearance. Small parking lot, had to park in the plaza next door or behind the hotel that looked really sketchy; we parked in plaza area. Traveling to florida with family, didn’t know the area but had a safe experience.

Room was very nice. Person was very nice at check in. However, there is a huge remodel in lobby with tile being installed. The chemical odor from the glue is not pleasant. A warning before making this reservation would have been appreciated.

First, the day of my arrival, I received a call that the room I booked was over booked but they had a similiar room. No problem and I appreciated that they actually called me in advance. Second, when we did arrive, I was a little put off by the fact that there was remodeling going on and I didn't see anywhere on the website that stated that. It was messy. I could hear EVERY word that was said in the room beside me! BUT, the employees were the best I have encountered. The sweet lady that was handling breakfast was the BEST and her attitude was AMAZING! She was precious. EVERY employee that I encountered while I was there, housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, breakfast were GREAT! They would be the reason I would stay again!

Pro—staff was welcoming, room was clean, bed very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Husband loved the choices for breakfast especially the cinnamon rolls. No noise from the traffic. Only one Con—limited parking. We had to park in the next door restaurant parking—although it was adjacent to the hotel. We will definitely stay here again as we travel through here several times a year.

Nearly constant mechanical noises at night made falling asleep difficult. (A/C, then refrigerator, then noise outside, then a/c again, then refrigerator, lather rinse repeat.) The brown water coming from the tub faucet didn't give me confidence in the cleanliness of the entire place. It eventually ran clear but I felt yucky.

The hotel is being totally remodeled. It looks very nice with all new furniture and fixtures, however, the rooms are quite cramped. It is obvious to me that they took an old hotel and dressed it up to meet the Holiday Inn standard. The rooms of the old hotel were small and allowed no room for expansion. The bathroom was made for 1 person only. But the breakfast menu was quite large and delicious for the price paid.

Our check-in clerk was excellent. She was very professional and well-dressed. However, our check-out clerk was the opposite. He didn’t stand to greet me, his off color died hair was a distraction and the shirt he had on looked like he’d slept in it and was a crazy print that basically matched his hair. Overall we had a great experience at this location. The holiday decor was fun and tastefully done.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel I was greeted with excellent customer service, until I checked out. The staff not only provided excellent customer service but were very helpful when it came to places to go, things to do, and dining options in the local area. Very informative! The hotel was clean top to bottom as was my room. I’d definitely come back to stay if I am ever in the New Albany, MS area again in the future.

Hotel.com offered to pay by cash, check, or credit card option upon arriving. IHG hotels do NOT accept cash onsite. Thankfully we had enough on our card to pay. The hotel was nice and accommodating to us and worked with us. For the hotel being pet friendly it did not smell like pets at all!! We HIGHLY recommend this hotel!! Our only complaint was the first morning the milk (whole and chocolate was expired) but they fixed it!

The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. I felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left. The woman supporting the free breakfast service (I wish I remembered her name) was very helpful, attentive and so sweet with our baby. Hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, omelettes, potatoes, sausage, plus cold items. They do use plastic ware (like most hotels of this type), which is my only real complaint (because it’s bad for the environment).
