I stayed for the pool and breakfast. they had health tickets on the pool door. Pool no water, hot tubs were not working.no breakfast at all any were. 7:00 am door to office was locked. no one around. No hot water in the evening and could not plug in fridge and micro at same time. I had to move the bed to get to the plug. I discovered a lost sock and other objects. they had no klenex or paper towels. The bed was a roll to the middle. I would not recommend this hotel,/spa it is not. nor would I stay there again. I did not get what I paid for or expected. I would expect a full refund. Not a pleasant stay.

It was not as advertised and we were over charged. It is definately not a resort spa. Breakfast included means toast, cereal, yogurt and a steamed egg.Tea and coffee. It should be advertised as a quiet place to sleep. There is no pool etc. We feel cheated.

Beautiful property and room was clean and confortable. There is some disrepair externally - the buildings would have been stunning a few years ago. Regular front desk staff were not available. Maintenance filled in and was very friendly but obvisouly not trained for this role. Pool and hotub were nice. Breakfast was basic. Very enjoyable overall in a nice forested settung with amazing access to local trails.

The pool and hot tub were nice. It was quiet when we went so we had both to just our party. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. It seems like lots of people live out there for longer term and less guests checking in and out. No one at front desk when arrived so went and used the pool until someone was available. They were fine with this. Went to see about breakfast at 7 but no one was around. A gentleman who uses the gym let us in. Nothing set up for breakfast so went and used the pool. It was pleasant in the sense the place was quiet and we just seemed to help ourselves. There was a phone number to call if you needed anything which I’m sure they would have accommodated too.

We were early in the spring when it was still very quiet there. Breakfast was sufficient. Cereals, toast peanut butter, bananas, soft cooked eggs and coffee. I’m sure they have more when it’s a busy time but then costs would go up as well. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom accessories. Pool and hot tub. Has a very western theme. Would totally recommend.

The property is WELL past its glory days. Grounds very unkept. Old cars, appliances & matresses cluttering the grounds. The rooms & bedding were clean, but no restaurant on site as advertised. Pool is huge & appeared to be well maintained, however there were signs everywhere stating the pool was closed. This was our main reason for booking this property, and I even called the number to ask if the pool was in service and was told it was a beautiful, large modern pool. When I checked in the man at the front desk said the pool was open so my granddaughter enjoyed a fun swim before it closed at 8 pm. The next morning when we were leaving the breakfast room there was a RCMP officer at the pool door talking to the front desk gal. When we returned to have a swim before checking out an official notice from the Interior Health department was taped to the pool door stating the pool was not authorized to be used by them. Our granddaughter was devastated as we decided not to enter the pool room after seeing this notice. We certainty were disappointed by the false advertising, and although we had a very sound sleep because it was so peaceful & quiet, we do not recommend this property & will not stay there again.

Absolutely disgusting, falsely advertised online and on Expedia. Gross, uninhabitable with drug deals and vagrants living in most of it. The property should be shut down. Nothing advertised is available-pool is a swamp, restaurant shut down by health authorities and there is no spa. There are no horses and the grass and everything is completely overgrown. Too bad all the garbage and disgusting mattresses all over the property don’t hide some of the broken down vehicles littered everywhere! This is gross !! Do not book!!!

this was the first hotel i have ever left and not stayed the night in, i have never felt so unsafe or seen a hotel so unsanitary. Unfortunately i did not read recent review before booking as it is nothing like the website advertises. The diner on site is full of mattresses, there is trash and broken down vehicles, the pool has a Interior Health closures warning on it although the owner still says its open and the rooms are less then clean. We left and stayed at the Days INN in town and had a much better experience

Room was very good - bathroom could have been better cleaned - someone's hair on floor. Large clean room nicely furnished with a great view and very quiet. Location and setting very nice but the property outside looked like a dump - old mattresses and appliances everywhere and overflowing dumpsters. Diner was closed so no option for a meal. On the whole nice stay and reasonable rate.

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bedbugs and the Regional Health Authority has a Boil Water Advisory posted on the doors. Walked into the room and got hit by the smell of Mold. Moved the night stand and there were two (2) bedbugs there. The rating on Expedia is FRAUD.

The resort was quiet, easy to find and get to. Parking was free and close to our room. On the bad side, there was an unpleasant odor in the hallways, but thankfully it wasn't as strong in the rooms.

Checked in and went to the room. Opened the door and propetly hit by the smell of mold. Checked behind the night stand and saw two bed bugs. Turned around and saw rhe two boil water advisory by the health department. Dirty, disgusting and not fit for occupancy. SHAME ON EXPEDIA PROMPTING THIS DISGUSTING PLACE.

Stayed there years ago and it was wonderful..This time it looked run down with stacks of old mattresses near outside stairways.The grounds looked unkept. The gravel driveway in was very rough. The person doing checkin was not helpful..Bathtub drained very slow and the bathroom floor grout was dirty. Beds were excellent. Breakfast would not meet food safe standards. It was a bunch of pastry and muffins all lying mixed together uncovered and on an open surface. An open jar of jam and an open jar of peanut butter as well as a warm open tetra pack of orange juice. There was some dry cereal although I didnt see any milk. We as well as others looked and left. No coffee seen.

The room was nice but the air conditioner kept waking me up in the night. The noise of it would build up through out the night to a point where i wondered if it was going to blow up. It woke me up many times in the night. And the room never felt like it was cooling off. . There was also a pile of mattresses on the side of the building as well as a bunch of parts of what looked like an old playground. In the morning there was a deer outside our deck which was beautiful but he had to lay amongst the mess of old play ground parts. It looked like the restaurant was out of commission even though the website said there was a restaurant on site. The place looked like it was once a beautiful place. I am assuming there isnt enough staff anymore to keep it up. Although the room was nice and clean we were glad we were only staying one night there.

I enjoyed the quiet wooded area around the buildings. Upon arrival I was told he had one of the best rooms, so i overlooked the unswept hallway leading ot the room. Inside the room the lamp shade over the bed was hanging by a thread, the door knob to the patio door was loose, the fridge did not have a freezer that I needed to freeze ice packs for my back. When I brought this to the attention of the only staff I ever saw there, the man at the desk, he said he would fix things and the fidge did have a feeezer. I took photos and showed them to him to prove all my statements. If you want a low cost get away in nature here it is, and bring your own food or be prepared to drive back to town for your meals. The best part was that the beds were comfortable and the area was quiet.

No towels in room, breakfast was frozen bread and muffins from freezer and Hard boiled eggs in warmer. We were checked in by a man in a bathing suit we had to call to come to the desk. There's no blackout curtains and a window above patio door people can see in. And you share patio with everyone on your side of building/ floor. Awful awful place!

Die uns angebotene Wohnung war in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Kissen waren vergilbt und haben gestunken. Die Böden und Fenster waren sehr verdreckt. Der Grill stand vor Dreck und war nicht benutzbar. Wir haben das Zimmer anschließend sofort storniert, der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat uns jedoch nicht die vollständige Zahlung erstattet, mit der Begründung, wir sollen die Differenz bei Expedia zurückverlangen. Er hat uns die Differenz auch nach nochmaliger Aufforderung nicht zurückerstattet. Expedia teilte uns daraufhin mit, dass sie diesen Differenzbetrag nicht zurückerstatten, da der komplette Betrag beim Check-in bezahlt wurde. Die uns angebotene Wohnung war in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Kissen waren vergilbt und haben gestunken. Die Böden und Fenster waren sehr verdreckt. Der Grill stand vor Dreck und war nicht benutzbar. Wir haben das Zimmer anschließend sofort storniert, der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat uns jedoch nicht die vollständige Zahlung erstattet, mit der Begründung, wir sollen die Differenz bei Expedia zurückverlangen. Er hat uns die Differenz auch nach nochmaliger Aufforderung nicht zurückerstattet. Expedia teilte uns daraufhin mit, dass sie diesen Differenzbetrag nicht zurückerstatten, da der komplette Betrag beim Check-in bezahlt wurde. The pool is closed as well as every other service listed on this site. Owner was rude and I called him out on his lies. No breakfats as listed. He entered my unit without knocking, as well. My partner and were non clothed at the time.

My wife stayed here a few years ago and liked it. Sadly the experience could not be replicated. The place clearly has seen better days, yet one can see the potential for it what it could be. A beautiful setting and great assets that could be revived with a little bit of TLC. The breakfast was very poor and the items just slammed on a table. For coffee that had conventional coffee in single dose PODS. In a natural setting like this, one would expect that the proprietor would care about receding waste and recycling, but sadly that is not the case. The pool and gym were quite dirty and we did not feel very comfortably for safe using it. Our daughter loved the friendly cat and dog, but the cat litter box in the lobby hadn’t been leaned in days or more than a week. The team was friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to use a power outlet to charge our car and late check-out was not problem. I am sad to say, that we won’t be back. Please take a hard look at what you do and see that you can turn this around. There is a lot of potential here. Do it before your assets deteriorated beyond salvageable.

It was cozy, quaint and rustic. Had a last minute booking where we arrived very late. Ken was amazing. He came and checked us in right away. Bed was comfy. Room seemed like they're in the process of modernizing / upgrading. Beautiful scenery. At night lol a little dark gravel road and not many lights in parking areas. No vending machines. So make sure you have snacks ahead of tike or be prepared to run back into town for juice pop chips etc. Other than that, stay was enjoyable and peaceful aside from housekeeping knocking on our door at exactly 11am while we were loading the car back up.

We love this place! It is in a beautiful part of the world with fantastic hiking, biking, golf and paddling nearby. The pool and hot tub area is very well maintained, with full change rooms and saunas. This is a hidden gem for travellers and a perfect stay for outdoors sportsters. It would be a perfect stop en route from south to north! The rooms are quaint, with beautiful views out back. The suites are very clean, comfortable with lovely sheets and towels and comfy mattresses. The night sky! The quiet! Ken is a fabulous host, very amenable and honest.

This location was a half way point for our travels on both sides of our trip. We were travelling with 3 generations of one family and this unit met our needs really well. Not walkable to amenities but a short drive to town. We stayed in it's hay day and has become quite rundown. Could use a refresh.

It was not as advertised and we were over charged. It is definately not a resort spa. Breakfast included means toast, cereal, yogurt and a steamed egg.Tea and coffee. It should be advertised as a quiet place to sleep. There is no pool etc. We feel cheated.

The pool and hot tub were nice. It was quiet when we went so we had both to just our party. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. It seems like lots of people live out there for longer term and less guests checking in and out. No one at front desk when arrived so went and used the pool until someone was available. They were fine with this. Went to see about breakfast at 7 but no one was around. A gentleman who uses the gym let us in. Nothing set up for breakfast so went and used the pool. It was pleasant in the sense the place was quiet and we just seemed to help ourselves. There was a phone number to call if you needed anything which I’m sure they would have accommodated too.

Ken was very friendly when I checked in, but my room was dirty, the shower curtain had coffee stains and dirt or something on it, the one drawer had egg shell and popcorn kernels in it. I went to have the free continental breakfast there was barely anything and the croissants were moldy. When I went to check out I told Ken about my room and the croissants and he just said I do my best. Will never stay again or recommend this place…..

We were early in the spring when it was still very quiet there. Breakfast was sufficient. Cereals, toast peanut butter, bananas, soft cooked eggs and coffee. I’m sure they have more when it’s a busy time but then costs would go up as well. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom accessories. Pool and hot tub. Has a very western theme. Would totally recommend.

Stayed there years ago and it was wonderful..This time it looked run down with stacks of old mattresses near outside stairways.The grounds looked unkept. The gravel driveway in was very rough. The person doing checkin was not helpful..Bathtub drained very slow and the bathroom floor grout was dirty. Beds were excellent. Breakfast would not meet food safe standards. It was a bunch of pastry and muffins all lying mixed together uncovered and on an open surface. An open jar of jam and an open jar of peanut butter as well as a warm open tetra pack of orange juice. The property is WELL past its glory days. Grounds very unkept. Old cars, appliances & matresses cluttering the grounds. The rooms & bedding were clean, but no restaurant on site as advertised. Pool is huge & appeared to be well maintained, however there were signs everywhere stating the pool was closed. This was our main reason for booking this property, and I even called the number to ask if the pool was in service and was told it was a beautiful, large modern pool. When I checked in the man at the front desk said the pool was open so my granddaughter enjoyed a fun swim before it closed at 8 pm. The next morning when we were leaving the breakfast room there was a RCMP officer at the pool door talking to the front desk gal. When we returned to have a swim before checking out an official notice from the Interior Health department was taped to the pool door stating the pool was not authorized to be used by them. Our granddaughter was devastated as we decided not to enter the pool room after seeing this notice. We certainty were disappointed by the false advertising, and although we had a very sound sleep because it was so peaceful & quiet, we do not recommend this property & will not stay there again.

Absolutely disgusting, falsely advertised online and on Expedia. Gross, uninhabitable with drug deals and vagrants living in most of it. The property should be shut down. Nothing advertised is available-pool is a swamp, restaurant shut down by health authorities and there is no spa. There are no horses and the grass and everything is completely overgrown.
