Super 8 by Wyndham Malvern

Older lady at front desk was rude and not very helpful. Rooms were dirty and from the appearance had not been swept or mopped properly in a while. The room smelled like mold. The man and woman who was cleaning the rooms were very nice tho. Tables in rooms were sticky and gummy feeling. Upon checkout the older lady was rude again and had very bad attitude. While what looked like owner sat in the corner on a sofa and never said a word. So. Yeah

Honestly, probably the worst hotel I have ever booked. We get there and I always pay with cash because I make cash, had to leave a $50 cash deposit which I understand but normally they allow me to put a credit card down instead. Lady at the front was not friendly AT ALL and was actually very rude about the whole situation. Took 20 minutes to check in. We get to the room and the bathroom was disgusting. Accidentally spilled water at one point and used a towel to wipe it up and the white towel quickly turned the darkest shade of brown imaginable. Bed was okay, no bed bugs so that’s good right? The Air conditioner was also leaking the entire night. The next morning house keeping comes around 9am (check out is at 11 and we were still in the room) I basically had to scramble to the bathroom to get dressed because despite us yelling at her that we didn’t need her, she still used her card to come in. Check out was just as time consuming, we had to keep the receipt for the cash deposit and bring it to the desk to get the $50 back, which she then had to have the room checked before she would give it to us, which I understand but housekeeping wouldn’t answer her phone so we had to wait for the front clerk to go all the way to our room, check it, and then come back to give us the cash. Overall a terrible experience and will never be back nor recommend it.

There was standing water in the bathroom when we arrived and a strong urine smell. I notified the front desk but nothing was done.
