The Originals City, Hôtel Ker Izel, Saint-Brieuc

A very comfortable and welcoming family hotel, super centrally located and run by a very nice couple who are eager to help. The breakfast was excellent and the service was exceptional. Merci beaucoup.

I went here for my 22nd birthday (which was on the same day as our arrival day). The day prior we had messaged the host asking for codes and access info because we lived very far away. We were told we would receive them later. The day before we also messaged the host inquiring for later check out time and other information which received no answer. After we all drove down (6 of us) and got to the unit, the host was unresponsive. We received no code or any access information. We called and left messages, and reached out to customer support which also could not get ahold of the host. Customer support could only offer us a hotel room for the night elsewhere which truly was heartbreaking to have to hear and deal with on my birthday after paying so much and coming so far. It wasn't until aprox 2 and a half hours of this AFTER our check in time we were able to contact the host. We did this by calling them off a friends phone that was not in the booking(which was strange). When you pay so much for a special thing you expect a certain level of reliability and this was a let down and terrifying when its supposed to be your special day and being on the phone for hours, and not being able to access the unit for hours after check-in time was a huge set back for us. There also is a hot tub marketed on this listing that was NOT there. As well as the balcony only being accessed through a window. The front door lock is also very strange is very unreliable, and the bathrooms have no locks.
