Car park is not on site but very convenient. Property has nice original features. Went to a concert at coop live and it was about a 30min walk back. Bar closed at 11. Others open nearby but it was a Saturday night, it felt a bit early to shut.

Lovely stay, very nice clean room. Staff at the front desk are very helpful. Nice bar for early drinks. Very conveniently located for train and trams and the Northern Quarter. Good car park right nearby, City Park, the hotel discounts for you so a 24 hour stay is £13.

Beautiful building and the best sleep I’ve had in ages! The lift wasn’t working which wasn’t an issue for us and we were offered help with our bags. Great location near Piccadilly and in easy walking distance of the city centre.

Lovely room with enormous bed and lovely shower everything was clean and the building is magnificent. The lift however was out of order and being on the third floor was a bit of a hike some people could not have made it and feel they should probably have called to ask if that was a problem rather than just waiting for me to show up to tell me/others. Due to the age and style of the building it is a bit like a rabbit warren. Couple of safety notes... As a single female I was in an end room isolated from most of the other rooms. There was no internal lock on my door and even worse no spy hole. Just something to be aware of. Lovely comfortable bed and all clean but I was a bit unnerved by this security issue.

I’m a fan of Abode Manchester and have stayed many times - including a few weeks ago when I left a very positive review. There rooms are great, the building is fantastic, and the location couldn’t be much better. A few quibbles this time. The lift was out of action when I was there a few weeks back - and it is still out of service! There is only one lift and the upper floors involve a big climb on the stairs, especially with luggage. This isn’t good enough. Also, breakfast can be a big sluggish - and since the hotel has a breakfast menu instead of buffet this can be a problem if you’re staying for business and tight for time in the morning. I will definitely stay again - but would appreciate and a brisker approach to breakfast.

At first I had to request to be given a new room because an entire wall next to the window was covered in mould. The new room had wall paper peeling off the walls and random marks on the wall. The aircon did not work. Room was very hot and uncomfortable. Bottles water in the room tasted salty and cost £2.50. The only nice thing about the room was the bathroom was nice and clean. The building feels very old and outdated. I wouldn’t stay here again. Photo is of mould in first room.

Nice furnishings and old building with character. I'm not particularly fussy but the room/bathroom wasn't spotless. Also had an AC unit separate as the one fixed on the wall seemed to be broken. Good location near the station and city centre but lots of unsavoury characters hang around outside. Overall an average experience, nothing to shout about.

Front desk staff were friendly and really helpful. Room was clean, with a good shower and comfortable bed. Feels like it's time for a bit of an update in the coming years, as little has been renovated or updated since I stayed there several years ago.

Wouldn't be good in summer. Stayed here 6 years ago and liked it, feels like no maintenance since then. Shower head loose, general wear and tear taking its toll, looking a bit shabby in places. Plants growing from the outside of the building isn't a great look!

Room was too warm, the radiators were turned off but the pipes running through gave out the heat. No opening windows, just a fan (good one at that), so a particular room issue imo. No fridge in the room, which I personally would prefer….

The room was spacious but the room was really hot and apparently all the Air conditioning in the building wasn't working. This wasn't even disclosed at reception being an important aspect of customer satisfaction. Very poor night's sleep

Das Hotel ist super gelegen, fünf Gehminuten vom Bahnhof. Wir hatten die Frink Suite in der obersten Etage, die sehr schön eingerichtet war. Die Betten waren bequem und eher weich, Mini-Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher waren vorhanden. Sichere Gegend nahe Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir sind um 12:00 mittags angekommen und durften sogar schon aufs Zimmer, was wir supernett fanden. Das Einzige, was uns ein wenig gestört hat, war, dass es in den Zimmern sehr heiß war. Es gab keine Klimanlage, sondern nur zwei Ventilatoren, und man konnte nur im Wohnzimmer, jedoch nicht im Schlaf- oder Badezimmer ein Fenster öffnen, was das Bad quasi zu einer Sauna gemacht hat. Außerdem hat man das Wasser beim Duschen nie wärmer als lauwarm bekommen, was nicht so angenehm war. Ansonsten war aber alles super und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Hotel was a great price, great location in city centre and really close to the train station. Room was okay clean, but was very hot and had no ventilation, we turned the radiator off but the pipes were hot which made the room uncomfortable.

The room was nice but it was unbelievably hot in the room. The air con unit was clearly broke because they had taken the remote out of the room. There was a fan circulating hot air as the windows wouldn’t even slightly open.

Good location close to Piccadilly train station. Arndale shopping 10 min walk. Bars and restaurants nearby. Large room with nice toiletries. A/C did not work, Dyson type fan in the room. Windows did not open. Extra plug sockets hidden behind a large free standing mirror. The room door did not fit properly and had to force it close. The towel rail only had heat at the bottom.

Excellent nights sleep, the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on and breakfast was amazing. The room was satisfactory. The gentleman on reception told me I had missed check in as I’d arrived after 10pm. I’d been travelling for 6 hours after a busy day. I was travelling as a lone woman and didn’t appreciate the joke. He did apologise but it sounds as if it’s a joke he regularly plays. I doubt he would have done it to a lone man.

I was travelling as a lone woman and didn’t appreciate the joke. He did apologise but it sounds as if it’s a joke he regularly plays. I doubt he would have done it to a lone man.

Great menu options. You’re given menu & items made to order- limitless, I believe - great value & quality. However, service was major let down. Food took 20-35min to come. Part of my order was not as I requested but was sent back to fix. One of my orders (a selection of crossaints) never came. I asked about this, assuming it was forgotten but happy to take it in a napkin. But was told the kitchen was closed, as if I had forgotten to mention this in my original order. I politely explained I had originally ordered this & no resolution/accommodation was offered. Given, I was already late for check out bcus of how surprisingly long food had taken - I left it. I’d factor 1hr+ for breakfast & overcommunicate your desires :/

Another great stay at Abode This is our go to hotel when we are in Manchester We were celebrating our anniversary so Omar organised a complementary drink for us . Nothing was too much trouble for Omar he was first class

Great location, so accessible with train, tram and bus links all close to property. Room was a good size, beds comfy , nice tea and coffee selection in room, staff were friendly and attentive, breakfast and service was great! Only minor gripe is there wasnt a plug socket near to a mirror so made doing hair tricky, and would have liked a bedside light but having said that i would definitely stay again as so many positives!

Large, clean room. Decor was fun and quirky. Large room and bathroom. Right in middle of Manchester. Close to all public transport, shopping and dinning. Public carpark very close by with discount provided by hotel.

Great place to stay if you’re going to coop live! The hotel is a very short walk from Piccadilly station, where you can catch a 6 minute tram to the coop live venue.

The room was very cold. No heating on, contacted reception they put heating on 1st time. 2nd evening they found a portable heater and bought to us. Very noisy throughout the night as no double glazing. Our bed was not made and bins not emptied sunday but lady did knock in eve to ask if we required more towels. Restaurant closed on sunday due to no chef!. The staff were polite and well presented. We wanted to go with an alternative to a premiere etc but things need to be updated to keep clients co.ing to this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were lovely, spacious, great decor, huge and comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was great- lots of options and cooked to order. Would stay again.

Great menu options. You’re given menu & items made to order- limitless, I believe - great value & quality. However, service was major let down. Food took 20-35min to come. Part of my order was not as I requested but was sent back to fix. One of my orders (a selection of crossaints) never came. Mycket fint och rymligt rum där vi sov gott. Det var smidigt att gå en trappa ner och äta frukost. Personalen var hjälpsam men vid frukostbeställningen blev det inte helt rätt. I övrigt är det ett bra läge till kommunikationer och andra sevärdheter.

On arrival our room wasn’t ready but we were early so had expected it. We were able to leave our luggage and on our return, it was lovely to find it had been taken up to our room. The room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was modern and clean. I expected to hear a lot of noise from the because of the hotels location but both of us had an undisturbed nights sleep. When we went to use the bathroom in the morning, there was an issue with the water. We were offered a different room but as we were due to check out and head home, it didn’t seem worth the fuss to us and we managed to wash and shower (even though the pressure was low). The manager was lovely and had tried to resolve our issue - she offered us breakfast as an apology (which we weren’t planning on having) but it was lovely and the service was fantastic. We stay over in Manchester every few months and although this was our first stay at the Heathcote, it won’t be our last.
