Wir waren die ersten beiden Nächte unserer Reise im Ocean view und sind total begeistert. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, herzliche Gastfreundschaft, Honesty Bar, die wir sehr genossen haben. Mit einem Uber ist man in wenigen Minuten und für sehr wenig Geld in der Stadt - alles in allem eine wunderbare Unterkunft, die wir zu 100% empfehlen.

It was truly amazing with breathtaking oven views and sounds p. Also has a natural mountain river running right through it. The staff were all amazing at the reception this coloured lady was so nice and Supreme also had wonderful customer care. Their breakfast though small was one of the best Iv ever experienced. Most fresh ingredients The house keeping was invisible but efficient.

The location is quiet and away from the crowded nightlife. Our family felt secluded, but still a few minutes drive from all of the action. Breakfast at the accommodation is amazing and the service is top-notch. Parking was especially easy! Parking spaces are available behind a gated entry, which means looking of street parking is not needed! Having easy parking was a huge bonus since the streets are narrow, windy, and dark. The gardens around the property are absolutely beautiful. The unique landscape design, quantity of succulents, and the tranquil views are beyond expectations and are a dreamscape.

Our stay and experience at Ocean View House felt quite sub-par vis a vis the level of service offered given the price we paid. Perhaps the hotel has not yet recovered post-pandemic. Things to note that we hadn\'t realized: - Spa service, while technically on-site, requires calling someone in to provide the required services (was previously under the impression it was a fully functional spa). - The "honesty" bar is nicely appointed but lacked key ingredients that seemed strangely unobtainable while we were there. - Breakfast is included but with minimal service. Things we enjoyed: - The view, although it feels like you can get this anywhere in Cape Town as soon as you walk out the door. - The bed was amazing! Would likely not stay here again given the underwhelming level of service and interest in staying somewhere more central to the Camps Bay strip.

My wife and I stay at Ocean View House for 5 nights beautiful property and super clean. Location 10- 15 mins walk to Camp Bay to restaurants and bars..Staffs was super friendly and professional. Would definitely go back or recommend a friend or family member.

The property is beautiful and the views are amazing. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. All the staff were very pleasant. There was a problem with our hot water on check out day and they let us use an empty room for a hot shower and to check out late.

My wife and I stayed for 5 night in the garden suite in August 2024. It is without doubt one of my favourite rooms I’ve ever stayed in of any hotel anywhere in the world. It is so peaceful and spacious and beautiful with incredible views. The whole guesthouse is so clean and beautiful with lovely outdoor spaces and truly brilliant service. Supreme and everyone we encountered were truly first class! We completely fell in love with Cape Town and with ocean view! I will be returning and I cannot recommend it highly enough for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a brilliant area of a great city.

O hotel consegue ser melhor do que nas fotos. Tudo muito bem decorado. Pegamos um quarto que era pequeno mas muito confortável e gostoso de ficar. A vista é deslumbrante do mar. O café da manhã é ótimo! Pegamos somente para um dia mas se souvesse como era tinha ficado mais tempo. Tem ciclovia na frente o que facilita para dar uma caminhada ou passeio de bike.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights at the end of a safari holiday in Botswana. The room was spacious, comfortable and overlooked the sea. Breakfast was excellent with good choice and friendly staff. The location at Camps Bay was good as it was away from centre of Cape Town and with a hire car we were able to visit the Cape, Table mountain, Lions Head and the winelands very easily.

There were amazing views. The room was spacious with a huge balcony & a fireplace in the living room. The breakfast was included & made to order. They were very accommodating with our Gluten Free requirements. The staff was very helpful & friendly. We would definitely stay there when we go back to Cape Town.

We absolutely loved our stay at ocean view house We booked the panoramic room which provides a view of the mountains and ocean. Rooms were very spacious. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh and locally sourced fruits , omelettes and bakery. The staffs were amazing and out very few concerns and inquiries were promptly resolved/ answered. Damian was superb and gave us some tips for sightseeing and even booked us a table at a restaurant suggested by him. Supreme and patience were so helpful to us as well in allowing us to check out late and then keeping our luggage safe until out departure later at night . A memorable stay for us

Tres bel hôtel et superbe vue. Le service pourrait etre amélioré pour ce prix. Nous avons eu une chambre voisine d’un lieu de stockage et nous avons ete reveille a 6h30. Cependant en le faisant remarquer le personnel a fait les efforts pour que ca ne se reproduise pas. La chambre etait magnifique et le petit dejeuner absolument divin. Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que ce soit parfait. Le service pressing est aussi assez long par rapport a d’autres hôtels du pays.

The property is beautiful, very relaxing place, clean and the service was outstanding specially the front desk guy Supreme, we also meet the owner Lambert super friendly gentleman. It was an oasis by the sea for sure! Very close to everything 5 minutes drive from Camp Bay and 15-20 minutes drive from V&A. Definitely will be back.

Our stay and experience at Ocean View House felt quite sub-par vis a vis the level of service offered given the price we paid. Perhaps the hotel has not yet recovered post-pandemic. Things we enjoyed: - The view, although it feels like you can get this anywhere in Cape Town as soon as you walk out the door. - The bed was amazing! Would likely not stay here again given the underwhelming level of service and interest in staying somewhere more central to the Camps Bay strip.

I had high expectations of Ocean View House based on previous reviews, and even then my expectations were exceeded. What an incredible place! My husband and I stayed there for a week with our 10 month old baby in February and we could have easily stayed another week. The setting, the service, the location - just everything - amazing. After just one day, the staff would automatically get our baby a high chair ready and waiting before we even arrived for breakfast, they paid such attention to our little boy, and on the occasions that we were ourselves with him would to anything to help. Something not mentioned in previous reviews, but a huge bonus for us, was that it was a 10km stunning and flat walk to the V&A. We walked this a few times to give our baby time to nap in his buggy and loved all the stops on the way. Easy enough to get an Uber home. We were also lucky enough to attend one of the dinners that the owners (lovely people!) but on for their guests every fortnight, it was a communal table, and truly one of the best meals we have ever eaten. Again, everyone made our baby feel so welcome. As well as breakfast, we had lunch their a couple of times, which was delicious. I could go on and on, but don’t hesitate to book this gem. Thank you for the memories OVH, we can’t wait to return one day ❤️

This is a gem of a hotel. I have stayed in Cape Town many times and had not heard of it before. We gave it a try and were blown away by the quality of the room, the setting, the linen, the staff, the food, the best cocktails in SA and warm hospitality from all the staff. We would highly recommend Ocean View House. 10/10!!!

There were amazing views. The room was spacious with a huge balcony & a fireplace in the living room. The breakfast was included & made to order. They were very accommodating with our Gluten Free requirements. The staff was very helpful & friendly. We would definitely stay there when we go back to Cape Town.

Such a serene place to stay overlooking the ocean with multiple pools. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Israel, who went above and beyond to check in on us. It was a great way to start our visit to South Africa.

We stayed here for our last night of our honeymoon as it was so special! The room had a sea view balcony where we watched the most amazing sunset. They had facilities that allowed us to change and shower for our evening flight after we’d checked out too. Wished we could have stayed longer!
