Inget gym som de står på hotels hemsida. Frukost buffe var så bra. Maten över lag kan verkligen rekommenderas. Jättefint hotell och trevlig personal. Om man ska ge lite ris så behöver poolområdet en uppfräschning med lite målning, plattorna samt poolsängar. Poolområdet behöver städas varje dag. De gjordes inte tyvärr.

Habe zwei Wochen hier verbracht und mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr lieb und gut gelaunt. An den Pool konnte ich Getränke bestellen und gemütlich sitzen und lesen. Temperatur im September war super zum Schwimmen. Die Hotelanlage wirkt relativ neu und modern, und ist wunderschön gelegen mit Blick direkt auf die Mündung des Douro in den Atlantik. Jeden Tag bietet das tolle Sonnenuntergänge. Wichtig zu wissen: Frühstück (Buffet) ist von 7 bis 11 Uhr möglich, Mittag (Bestellung) von 12 bis 15 Uhr, Abendessen (Buffet) erst ab 19 Uhr. Winziges Manko: Der Schrank im Zimmer bietet leider nicht allzu viele Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung. Ansonsten war das Zimmer top.

Pros: Café da manhã é bom, com opcões saudáveis e máquina automática de panquecas. Shopping Arrábida bem perto, porém não dá para ir andando. Contras:Estacionamento é compartilhado com outros 2 hotéis na mesma região e não tem vagas suficientes para todos. Constantemente reparei que não havia vagas perto da entrada do Novotel. Piscina não é aquecida. Localização é distante de qualquer ponto turístico e não há possibilidade de ir andando.

We traveled as a family, and found the novotel very family friendly. The playground inside (with ikea Kitchen, ikea tunnel, ikea darts, etc) and outside (slide, check) at the beautiful garden. The rooms are big enough for 2 adults and two small children. The only thing is, the kids pool was a bit dirty as everyone has to walk through it, to get to the adults pool.

Bof bof … décevant, chambre sans charme, équipement très moyen pour un Novotel. 1L d’eau pour 4 nuit, ménage moyennement fait dans la chambre, manque de produits beauté. Pros: awesome breakfast, very friendly staff and front desk, kids/family friendly, good location (10 min drive to downtown Porto). The hotel and rooms are very clean (except pool, see below). Cons: the property needs to some renovation, in particular the rooms/bathrooms need to be updated/refreshed. The swimming pool needs to be cleaned more often.

Room booked was not as advertised. Safe was broken and had to wait to get it fixed. AC did not work in the room. The sink and shower did not drain properly. The toilet stopped flushing, we let front desk know before we went for dinner and they said it would be fixed. When we got back, nothing was done and the person at the front seat did not know anything. There was a bug in the bed. We asked for a refund and was going to book another hotel and they wouldn’t refund us. Did not compensate for anything. Not worth the money to stay there and would not suggest this hotel to anyone.

We arrived late to find a rough and dirty room. It was hot and the AC was not working. The staff couldn't provide a fan. We slept eith the windows open but there was no wind and the room was very hot. The sofa bed broke two of its support planks and I had to sleep in a hole and no support for my hips. When we woke up there was a bed bug filled with blood crawling next to my son, which probably fed on him through the night. We just packed our things and left, 8 hours after checking in. Worst hotel experience I had in my life. They refused to refund me for the night.

The rooms were quite smqll , but ok. We stayed with our 2 Teenage kids, so 4 persons. But it was ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was also good wirh lots of options, pancakes, scrambled eggs, freah fruits & soy milk. you can walk about 30 minutes to the bridge to cross to potlrto old town or by taxi, about 5-6€. overall a nice hotel!

Rummen är väldigt små, då vi var två vuxna och två barn. Så blir lite trångt.. Frukosten var helt okej. På hotellet får man ha med sig hundar, så även dom vistas i matsalen och en å annan rastning sker i trädgården.... Annars var det nära och bra att ta sig från hotellet till köpcentrumet, havet eller till stan med Uber! Personalen var super trevliga och det var fint på rummet. Poolen gjorde sitt för barnen.

Ayant vécu le pire avec un autre établissement de Porto que nous avons dû fuir, nous avons été bien accueillis avec bienveillance et professionnalisme par les collaborateurs de Novotel Porto Gaia. Nous recommandons l'établissement. NB : A noter qu'Hotels.com ne nous a pas aidé pour trouver cet hôtel de remplacement. Nous avons trouvé la solution par nous-même. Et je suis pourtant un client Silver. Quelle déception de la part d'Hotels.com ! Le service d'assistance d'Hotels.com n'est pas à la hauteur.

L’hôtel est bien. Le personnel aussi. Mais la gestion des demandes pas trop. On leur a demandé de changer un matelas car bien usé et plus confortable il ne l’on pas fait. La veille de notre départ, après une journée à la plage, il n’y avait plus d’eau chaude. L’agent a l’accueil nous a répondu merci on verra demain, donc on a dû donner des douches froides aux enfants. Bref après avoir fait la même semaine le Novotel Lisbonne qui était de loins mieux, prix et standing, je trouve le Novotel Porto très cher (même le buffet repas).

El hotel no es un 4 estrella ni por casualidad. La habitacion es muy basica. La cama extra es un sillon cama. Esta en medio de autopistas lo que hace que no puedas caminar a ningun lado. O tomas taxi o coche. 15 euros por persona el desayuno es muy alto, pero no hay nada cerca para desayunar afuera.

If you are visiting Porto with a car this is the place to stay. Easy parking. Close to the old city. We drive into the old Porto at night and got lucky with parking but if I had to do it again I would uber it in and walk around. The sunset from this property is stunning. Stunning over the Atlantic. Hotel was very comfortable.
