The hotel is nice but very dark. The neighbors is not very busy. Probably a great place to live but further from the vibrancy of barcelona than I like. I live in a small town so I do enjoy some city time as it’s exciting. This area was a bit boring. There was an amazing restaurant around the corner though which made me happy to be there. Veganishi which is a plant based restaurant. Even if you aren’t vegan, the food was amazing and you would love it if you’re a foodie and appreciate creative wholesome food.

Sebie (I think that's how you spell his name) was amazing at entry and departure. The hotel is old, but it is quaint. It's not the Ritz, but the entry and lounge were very pretty, accommodating, and relaxing. The elevator may give some claustrophobia, but's fine. Their downstairs lounge was peaceful. The Room was clean, and yes, it was "old", but the bathroom was awesome- big deep tub and lots of space to soak your legs after walking all day. The bed was comfy and the amenities were what I needed. The neighborhood is extremely quiet- like zombie apocalypse quiet.... I went for a concert and football match- everything is walkable, or easy access to the subway. I will definitely stay here again.

We ended up with a room on the first floor tucked away down a hall behind curtains, kinda sketchy feeling. Room #2. The room was fine, the air conditioner worked but you couldn’t read the numbers as they were worn off and when you took a shower, water flooded half the bathroom floor. The staff wasnt the most welcoming either. The room served its purpose as we were there to sightsee.
