Motel 6-Oak Creek, WI

Stayed on the second floor, no working elevator. Hall smelled of urine and you could tell that it hadn't been vacuumed in days. Was very disappointed in my stay, but I guess I got what I paid for.

No coffee maker no refrigerator no microwave dead bolt lock didn't work i it looked like welfare city

If you're only looking for a bed with no comforts this is the place. No microwave or mini fridge in the room no ice machine and you can't even get a extra pillow or blanket

we frequently visit the Milwaukee area, The first room was terrible, (143) i have photos of the room, dirty, Hole in the bathroom ceiling, crack in the floor, Open safety pin on the floor, which was given to the desk clerk. tile on floor de-lamenting and cracks in the ceiling, we were transferred to an additional which was better, there was NO breakfast, there was NO towel service, and were very disappointed when staying there for 4 days. i was a very unfortunate experience.

This place looked better in the pictures. No fridge/microwave/coffee maker/ shampoo or even a blow dryer. There is no type of breakfast and the floors are vinyl and filthy. We rented the hot tub room and it had hair and all kinds of stuff in it and around it. They have you sign a waiver which allows them to come into your room at anytime. We stayed 5 days and they never cleaned the room or even knocked on the door while we were there to clean. Lots of people just hanging around the parking lot asking for money and cigarettes. Not worth the price.

This place is not a place for a single person to stay in let alone a family. First strike the phone in my room did not work the employee said someone came and snatched the cords from the main source of power so some rooms the phone wasnt working. Second the shower leaked all over the floor while i was showering not a little but a pool of water. Third they had no towels after i returned for my second night there also the bed was not made they left the blanket on the chair with no pillow cases or sheets. Fourth the place have no microwave no mini fridge no iron board it was just a mess save your money and sanity and stay somewhere else

Our rooms were on the second floor; no first floor rooms were available. The property does not have an elevator, or perhaps it was not working. That was not advertised beforehand. I don't understand how this can be ADA compliant and the lack of an elevator should be made clear before reservations are made. Not recommended.

The advertised pictures are very misleading, rooms don’t look like that. No housekeeping for the entire week. No face cloths. No microwave or fridge in the rooms. No elevator for 2nd floor. Many people living in the hotel.

****Roaches ROACHES ROACHES**** I booked to be close to my job for 5 days of overtime I was drawn in by the affordable prices. I expected a clean outdated room. I checked in at front desk it took all of 7 minutes. I got my key to my room on the first floor. I walk in the room and was greeted by a stench I said to myself that can’t be good check the bathroom. As soon as I clicked the bathroom light 2 grown roaches were running across the bathroom floor I turned to run out of the room when there was a 3rd roach nearly blocking my exit out the room 😡😡 I hurried back to the front desk told the young gentleman what just happened informed him that I would be canceling my stand requesting a refund he said that I would have no pushback with that request. I was in the room for all of 45 seconds any at the property for about 11mins. When I called for my refund they denied it saying it’s I’m their policy to not refund …. Im soo upset that these people scammed me out of my money! I was sooo paranoid at the next hotel that I didn’t get good sleep for 3 night I kept watching every wall corner and cranny for roaches I now have PTSD from this experience I would highly recommend staying anywhere else but here

Decent stay. Very dirty though. My room smelled like a 10yr old ash tray. Hallway carpet looks like its never been cleaned in the 30yrs its been there. But kinda quite and non bothersome.

Saw a roach and my boyfriend also got bit by a bed bug

The room was dusty, had cobwebs,and the bathroom was is horrible condition (crumbling walls, mildewed shower curtain). The floor was dirty and the unit (as well the hotel itself) smelled of old BO and grease.

It was the worst place ever stayed! The floors were so disgusting we were afraid to walk on them with out shoes! The sink was all old and nasty there was still hair all over the floor. The whole place smelled terrible! Never again will I even look into a motel 6

The whole property smells bad. The first room we checked into had no tv and was not cleaned. There was a used soap in the shower and hair in the bathtub and yellow stuff all over the wall by the bed. They moved us to a new room and it had brown stuff on the wall when you first walk in and the tv didn’t work.

This place was without a doubt the WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN !!!! The stucture was terrible the staff unprofessional people that weren’t guests hanging around and we haven’t even got to the rooms yet!! The room was a dump. TV didn’t work and when it did it was in Spanish!! Bathroom was caulked and dirty. I will NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!!

The room had dirt on the floor and in the bathtub. Gross room condition overall. Thankfully it at least looked like they did put on cleaned sheets.

Terrible. I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 properties that have been utilitarian but clean. This was a broken down mess. TV was off the wall and sitting on the desk. No cable box. Nothing connected but power, so no TV. Room phone was broken. Shower head was broken. Wall outlets were broken. WiFi was so bad I could barely check email. Plaster falling off the walls. Stay away from this place.

Their queen size mattresses are actually full size mattresses. The mattress is smaller than the wood platform which is the size of a queen mattress!!

Beds were so hard could feel the springs had a horrible night sleep. WiFi didn’t work tv didn’t work shower wasn’t working it was horrible I will never go back here and wouldn’t recommend lot of drug activity and prostitutes.

Y’all need better Wi-Fi there I had to use other hotel’s Wi-Fi it’s kinda ridiculous and I paid almost 400 plus

The walls were very thin. I could hear a lot of arguments and the cleaning staff only came once in the beginning of my stay (day 1) and even when I left and came back my room wasn't cleaned ever. Other than that the staff was quiet and nice enough. It was pretty decent and I wouldn't mind being there again. It was away from stuff but the bus line was right there so it wasn't too inconvenient but just a slight annoyance.

Wifi and Television in room #230 does now work.

A lot of people outside the main door smoking and being loud. Dog barking all nite.

Hotel room were ran down ! Staff wouldn’t give me a refund so I was forced to stay ! Toilet was running water air conditioning nor heat was working. Staff had snotty attitudes

Nothing special. It room was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Updates are happening but not complete. Internet not good; very slow.

The television in my room was broken. The air conditioner was broken. It didn’t lock correctly. The phone was broken. The staff laughed off all of this. Loud dirty people live here!

Really great staff. It seems like it needs some maintenance, but they were doing a bunch of work while I was there. I liked how quiety room was, even with work going on and rooms occupied. I had a nice stay, and would stay there again

Great staff, worth the price

Kind of a mess tbh. The friend desk area was pretty disorganized and unprofessional (e.g. dirty laundry like socks on the floor behind the desk). Attendant was nice enough though. Cute dog. Room itself was meh. Clean enough, although when I checked in the floor was still wet. Had top wipe it up with one of the towels. Did not have soap in the room, and when I asked for it, they said they're out. Had to buy soap at a gas station nearby. Read into that what you will.

Great Value, reasonably close to Downtown and Airport. My only reason I am writing a bad review is because I requested a wakeup call for 5:28am for Sunday July 28, 2024 at the frontdesk on Friday July 26 and again on Saturday July 27. I again confirmed around 1am Sunday July 28, after my busy last day in Milwaukee, that my Wakeup call was indeed scheduled for 5:20 or 5:28am in just 4.5 hrs. Although I had an alarm set on my phone, I always request a Wakeup call for peace of mind when travelling. I heard my alarm and turned it off, thinking I would get a Wakecall shortly. Unfortunately, I never received that scheduled wakeup call. This meant I missed my 7am Flight. I only woke up at 6:40am to my alarm for end of my boarding in Milwaukee airport. I explained my Predicament at the front desk on checkout, and the lady did see my wakeup call was written in the binder in front of her. She did confirm and admit that my wake up call was Not made to my room 141. I have both my Initial flight and the Rebooked flight that I incurred about $860 to return home to Canada. If I send proof of this, can I get a Future stay voucher or credit, or a Partial refund for my 3 nights July 25-28,2024 that I stayed at Motel 6 in Oak creek? Please advise. The beds are so comfortable, and the staff is ALWAYS friendly, and helpful. They go the extra mile for theireach and every guest, making sure their needs are met.

Nothing fancy and no special amenities, but a safe, clean, low-cost night of sleep near the airport. Staff was welcoming & helpful, bed was comfortable, shower was great. I appreciated the cleanliness and the feeling of security. Staff was very accommodating & friendly.

When I checked in at 4 am after work, I walked into my room to find someone was already sleeping in the bed. They had given me an occupied the room. I thought the Night Shift front desk staff were homeless people loitering outside smoking until I walked in and she went to the front desk. There was a bug in my room that looked like a small roach as soon as I walked in. The bed was hard as a rock and was covered in plastic wrap, I guess to shield the mattress from fluids? Lovely.

Upon arrival, there were police and K9 units were searching the parking lot. The person who checked me in was wonderful, but when I went to the room it was nasty. There was blood stains on the upper sheet, and the lining sheet had a large dried out stain. I slept on top of the covers for this reason, or tried to sleep. For several hours there were screaming fights throughout the hotel that I thought might turn violent. I avoided being a statistic by not complaining.

Did not even stay there. A lot of people on drugs, and someone in the parking lot started banging on my window and screaming at me unprovoked. Not a safe enviroment. I had to leave

Tons of people constantly sitting in front of the doors congregating at very early am hours smoking. Blocking doorways. Front desk attendant was outside with all them. Police were driving through the parking lot constantly. Lots of people sitting in their cars in the parking lot. I couldn't sleep at all and didn't trust my vehicle in that parking lot. I felt overall unsafe.

A decent stay. The staff was not the most helpful. Lots of hoodlums and prostitutes. Area around the place was okay.

Pulled up to cops arguing with a long-term renter. The place was run down and way to many long-terms. Walked to dinner and while walking back, a car pulled up and girl ran out of hotel, grabs something (we believe drugs) and car zooms out. Not safe. The woman at desk was very pleasant. Took hotel because of airport proximity and nothing else w/i price reason available. Never going back.

I got what I paid for. Cheap, no frills, but a comfortable bed and a warm shower. The building is getting a bit beaten, but it wasn't unpleasant in any way. Excellent access to public transit.

i booked this hotel based on previous reviews on your website. They were all lies. The mattress was only 8" thick and on a hard slab, no boxspring. Paint chipped in room. Curtain wasn't fitted on window correctly so early morning sun woke me. The room itself was clean enough but furniture was really weird. All the drawers were out of the furniture. No coffee maker in room and no coffee in lobby. I can't trust your reviews ever again and I will not be booking with you in the future.

1: Dirty hallways. Litter and dirt everywhere. 2: The whole place reeked of marijuana. 3: My room smelled strongly like marijuana. 4: Marks on bedlinen, didn’t seem completely clean. The rest of the room was clean though and the cleaning lady put a nice note. It’s possible the bedlinen was washed and the stain was simply one that wouldn’t cone off in cleaning. 5: Hole in wall in bathroom. 6: Loud guests in hallways past midnight 7: The evening concierge promised coffee. at 5am. At 6am there was no coffee made (the morning concierge said she could make some but seemed oblivious to fresh made coffee being a standard in the morning). 8: As a whole, this motel did not feel safe, it did not feel sanitary and absolutely not worth paying for.

Was not told we needed ID at time of booking. Luckily we found some. The hallway stank of dogs. Carpet was dirty, floor in bedroom was slippery. The sheets had dust on them. Room wasn’t cleaned the next day. TV remote wouldn’t change volume and internet didn’t connect. No fridge or microwave. Internet was a big issue for me, wouldn’t really stay here again, also limited food options because it’s so far out. The Branded Steer is very expensive if you have no other options.
