Great stay. Only negatives room booked for 3 only 2 glasses and 2 cups. And valet brought us the wrong car. Quickly rectified both issues. Breakfast great. Dont miss the roof terrace near mini gym

The location is great to all shopping places...Rooms are clean and good, shower room is little conjuested...break fast options are limited. The biggest problem is of not having the restaurant for dinner and hence need to order from outside.But still i found it good place to stay.

The staff was marvelous, and did a great job making us feel at home. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent - leaps and bounds what you would expect at a Holiday Inn in America. The room was small, but there were very accessible outlets and outlets with USB ports, and while I didn’t use it, the view from the 15th floor gym was excellent (you get a partial look at Table Mountain). Minor issues aside, this was a great place to stay at a great price, a short and cheap Uber-ride away from the V&A and two blocks from a major stop on the CitySightseeing bus path.

Room service was super helpful. Their action was really quick and great. Room was bigger than what we thought, with this location in middle of central Cape Town, room space was outstanding. Breakfast was better than other Holiday Inn Express we stayed and we loved it. Just one thing was parking, only small space leading to the parking enterance from the street, but instead the valet parking staff was super great.

Great location in downtown area. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent staff. Bed size in a standard double just a little small and bed not as comfortable as I had wished for. But overall the hotel was a perfect place as our starter location for the trip - enjoyed the great views of Table Mountain and the small rooftop gym location

Equipe muito simpática e prestativa, quarto estava super limpo e aconchegante, café da manhã completo, estacionamento 24h. Única coisa um pouco ruim é que se localiza no meio da praça, então estacionamento entra apenas 1 carro por vez e as vezes vira uma confusão. Mas nada que atrapalhou nossa viagem. Recomendo

Overall the stay was okay. I kept smelling cigarette smoke in the hallway on my floor and sometimes when I enter my room. I had to open the windows most time for ventilation. It would be nice to have a iron and iron board inside the room. There was an adjoining door in my room which I didn't like. The staff is friendly and courteous. The breakfast variety is also good.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room had a mini fridge which was very convenient. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was lovely. Location is very close to all things Cape Town, and I especially enjoyed being so close to Green Market Square and across the courtyard from Food Lovers Market. My room was cleaned daily, and I was never without what I needed. Even enjoyed an evening in the lobby having drinks with my local friends. Highly recommend.

I requested top comforter be switched as there were makeup stains from the previous guest present when I checked in. After returning that day the request wasn't met, the same comforter remained on the bed. I was checking out the next morning so didn't bother with demanding new set of sheets at that point.

Pretty much standard HIE facility. Excellent service and a very good room with excellent WIFI and cable service. The only complaint was a very slight cigarette smell and shower stall sliding door was in need of repair. Breakfast was the usual standard fare for HIE. The area is not as nice as the waterfront district, but is getting better.

Well located in CBD of Cape Town on pedestrian mall. Only problem was the street noise on St. Georges Mall which lasted each night till around 4 am and started again at 7 am as street vendors set up the metal frames of their stalls every day. Very hard to get a good night's sleep.

The Staff went above and beyond to make the stay more than comfortable. Very helpful and courteous and the security is top notch! They have a street market right outside the hotel and the staff is always watching over to make sure no one harasses you.

I traveled with my 9 month old and the staff was very helpful. They offer pack n plays (camp cots) and high chairs which was wonderful at no additional cost. They even went out of their way to assist me with dietary needs for my baby. I’m so grateful so that. They are very personable and can get all into the babies face to show them love so travelers be mindful if that’s a too much for you. Just respectful enforce boundaries if necessary, no big deal. One thing I wish the hotel came with washcloths (face clothes). I had to request for a pair daily. Also, it would be great if there was a microwave somewhere in the lobby so that guests can heat up food. I stayed for 9 days and I’d do it again. Thank you again for everything.

If you want to be in the heart of the city, this hotel may work for you. Staying in the core provides some weird vibes....safety officers on every corner, and appears to be unsafe after dark. Never walk alone a night....The area is walkable to the waterfront, and some great restaurants in the area. On the other hand this hotel offers good value and a great breakfast buffet. I would stay here again if visiting Cape Town.

The hotel is in the middle of the city and they have security outside the hotel making it safe. Convenient for taxi service due to its central location. Walking distance to shopping mall, helpful staff, overall good experience for me.

Good central location. Difficult to locate easily in a busy pedestrian precinct so Shuttle bus from airport essential for a new visitor to CT. Not an area you want to be on foot with expensive luggage and looking like a new boy on the block.

Less than 5 min walk to the long st city tour station, very convenient. 10 min by uber to the waterfront. Lots of variety of breakfast buffet. Overall very convenient for the peice

The hotel was fine and the breakfast buffet was better than expected. The issue is that the area is dicey after dark. Best not to wander from the hotel. There are a couple of dining options within a few meters of the hotel. The taxi prices quoted by the concierge are much higher thn normal. Best to negotiate or call a service.
