Great location but building left a lot to be desired. PROS: Loved how close the building was to the bustling theatre district of downtown Chicago. We walked everywhere and hardly need our car. We were so close to the museum, wonderful restaurants, Riverwalk and many theatres. CONS: The building is fairly dated and the hallway had a bad/musty smell to it that never went away. The room itself looked a lot better in photos, to be honest. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable, and was made from a thin metal frame. It did not have a regular mattress that you would normally find on a bed. Within the first 10 minutes of arriving, one guest in our party tried opening the blinds in their bedroom and half of the slats fell out. Additionally, the third bedroom had no window whatsoever and seemed to be an afterthought. It seemed as though the unit was initially a 2bdrm that was changed up as best they could. We also chose this particular rental due to the ability to lounge on the rooftop and get some fresh air throughout our stay, however AFTER BOOKING we were informed that the upper deck was not accessible. The alternative was to go to the adjoining deck in another building, but it closed at 8pm each night. We never made it there and had to stay fully enclosed in the high rise while at home. The jacuzzi also was not functional.Overall, we felt a bit duped. The rooftop pictures should be taken down so guests can be given the chance to make informed decisions prior to booking
