I can't recommend this place enough. It was super clean and the staff was kind and courteous. It was a few miles away at most from everything we wanted to do. The whirlpool tub worked perfectly and was amazing at the end of long hot days. The veteran parking showed respect and made it so much easier for my old disabled veteran self to get my things in and out of the hotel. It appeared they were busy making even more improvements to the property during our stay, so I'm looking forward to our next stay.

The gentleman at check in was friendly. The condition of the hotel is ran down. Carpets nasty. No ac in the main part of the building. Smelled like tobacco smoke. No continental breakfast. No coffee pot in the room. No microwave. And I paid extra for a kitchen. There was a stove top mounted in the counter. I don't believe it worked. And I'd be afraid to use it. The only thing good about this stay is the bed, shower, and toilet were clean. Not worth the $161 I paid.

This was the worst experience in a hotel that I have ever had. We should have turned around when the parking lot was full of holes, but we walked into the propped front door anyway... The whole place reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. There is no elevator and though we asked about handicap accessible (and,they said yes), we had to climb the stairs and go all the way to the end of the hallway for our room. Some part of me expected the room to be clean even with the blackened carpet throughout the rest... it was not. It still smelled of smoke and we kept coughing even after getting the window open. So, I was willing to look past the cigarette burns in the comforter and suck it up for a cheap stay, but when i asked for airfreshener at the front desk, I was given tile cleaner. That was when I decided we just couldn't stay. POW's have better accommodations. We were there for 10 minutes or less and could not get a refund for the room. I literally told people walking in that noone should stay there.

First, the front desk staff was not friendly & I ended up having to pay an extra deposit when we checked in which was not mentioned anywhere. The hotel was carpeted & disgusting. No elevator, stairs were gross and creaking under every step. The curtains on most of the windows were falling down or broken. The whole building smelled like marijuana despite being nonsmoking. The room was musty-smelling, the carpet GROSS, there was stains and burn holes in the blankets, unidentifiable materials on the light switches, the thermostat was not functional. The bathroom had a half-roll of tissue, towels were haphazardly folded and possibly not clean?? The building across the street looked abandoned, windows busted out & the general area felt unsafe. Would not recommend to anyone and we will definitely never consider this hotel again.

This is a place was a disaster and regardless of the deal I will NEVER stay here again. The guy at check in was rude and they charge a deposit you don't find out about until you get there. There's no elevator and the lobby and stairs are so grimy looking you really don't wanna touch anything. The room smelled like mold when we got here, covered in dust and the hand towels were wet. The A/C doesn't work, the only option is ON and COLD nothing else we had to unplug it to warm up and then plug it back up to cool down. The TV remote didn't work, there was a lighter and a smoked cigarette on the toilet and the tub was dirty. I will never late and cheap again!

The hotels.com offered a late check out at 1pm for a additional charge of $20 when we told the man at the front desk this and even showed him the information on the app he said no that is was $40 and even though he was looking right at it he said they don't offer that option and then denied our request. The parking lot was sketchy and really tight. The Jacuzzi tub handles were broken and the carpet was sticky. the walls were thin neighbors were up taking all night and we could hear them through the wall.

Absolutely the dirtest hotel I've ever seen! BED BUGS! Cigarette holes in the bed cover AND sheets, blood stains on the blankets. Not to mention the room looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in months. All the furnishings were old and nasty looking. After the bed bugs I refused to stay there. The front desk guy was rude. Did credit my money though (2-3 days). Got even more rude when I took a photo of their business name hanging on the wall. DO NOT BOOK HERE, you will regret it!!

The place was nothing like the pictures. The furniture was old and worn. Light fixtures were held together with duct tape that had fallen on the floor. The bathtub was stained and dingy. The walls had stains on them. Bubble gum was stuck to the picture above the bed. Towels were dirty. The smell of cigarette lingered through the building. No breakfast available. Was scared to look for the hot tube. Furniture in the entry way was torn.

This facility is not intended for a healthy sane traveller. This facility is for the desperate. I regret going there. I Spent approximately 17 hours there before I checked out and went to a healthier, safer, cleaner and more pleasant place. The roaches, the stains everywhere on the floors, the fecal matter on the bathroom wall was all very disturbing. The door cards and the envelopes they are stored in are all preused.

The room was filled with roaches. There were two baby roaches in the sink Soons I opened the door. I walked to the refrigerator and there was the mother and another baby. I was terrified to walk in the rest room, I left immediately and the hotel did not give me my money back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

This place is NASTY. We walked into our room and found cigarette ash all over the counters, roaches in the bathroom, and the bedding was stained and covered in burn marks. Filthy and the staff argued that it was because we booked a “smoking room”?? Why would that mean it’s not cleaned and full of bugs??

The hotel was very run down. It had smokers as well in the hotel. Even though they tried to mask the smell one could still smell cigarettes. Carpets were absolutely filthy in the room we stayed in, hallway floors under the carpet felt mushy while walking on.

It was difficult to sleep during the night and early morning while hearing loud and clear voices and the television loud volumes from the surrounding rooms. The doors also slammed loudly whereas the wall adjacent to the bed would tremor. You could see into the hallway beneath the door. The carpet, especially in the hallway was clearly worn and tattered with obvious stains. The bathroom lighting was poor, but sufficient throughout the room. The towels seem to be from a Dollar Tree store quality. The microwave cord had to be held for it to operate while using it. The bed mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were flat with no fluff. You could stack three of them for support. The continental breakfast was quite uninviting with a handful of miniature muffins, four to five 6 oz.size yogurts of two varieties, no water, and no fruit, but coffee and one juice selection.

The room reeked of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. It was so noisy we got no sleep. We even had a noise machine we brought but it wasn’t enough to drown out the noise that lasted all night. It was dirty. If you want to sleep, I do not recommend.

The hotel smells like marijuana when you walk into the lobby. The carpeting is tattered and a drawer in the room was completely broken and jutting out. The entire place could really do with a serious renovation. Breakfast was also about as minimal as it gets, just some granola bars, plain bagels, mini muffins, and oranges.

Air conditioning/heating did not stay on. Luckily there was an overhead fan and it wasn’t too hot or too cold. I usually like to run a fan to be able to sleep. Really needs updating. The Wi-Fi barely worked. Took minutes to load a page. The heater/AC unti kept kicking on and off all night. It had no constant fan. The TV in the next room was on all night. However, close to airport, and the clerk who checked me in and checked me out the next day was extremely nice.

1. I requested a location near to downtown. I selected the super 8 hotel near the River/downtown. On arrival, I found that it was near airport, 20 minutes drive from downtown. 2. AC and oven in the room didn’t work. Also, the room was not clean as it was supposed to be. 3. The area around was also poor. Nothing was nearby as expected in a recreation trip. 4. I left on 13 October (one day before) since my family got sick in overall condition.

The owner who owns the property was very disrespectful and rude to me and I was very frightened. He threatened me to call the police on me for no reason and there was some property of mine was stolen and of the deposit money. I never got that back deposit money takes about 6 to 8 business days and when it pass the 6 to 8 business days, I still hasn’t got my money return

When we arrived this lobby was full of boxes on crates. My wife noticed a foul odor. The clerk was friendly and welcoming. The room ended up being terrible. It smelled in the room. The toilet seat was cracked. The need had a large dent hole in the mattress. The two chairs at the round table were filthy. I sat down on one of them and back of the chair started to give away. We went out for dinner came back, got our luggage and told the clerk 2 could not stay in our room and did not want another one.

Has been the worst stay I have ever had let alone embarrassing! Went for a family members open heart surgery. Get there the room we had the smoke alarm was going dead and was switched rooms. They didn’t change it in the system then rebooked our new room and was walked in on while undressed. Go down to talk to them they tell me they didn’t note it and they don’t run a hotel like this. Was not the cleanest hotel stripped the top blankets. Floors through the hall was scary. At 2-3am there was a man screaming and throwing things at the wall next to us. Caused us to miss our loved one going into surgery. Spent 14 hours at the hospital then came back to have the situation rectified. The guy looked at me like I was unreasonable for telling him I would like refunded and will not stay there as it was unsafe! Very rude to incoming customers that had paid ahead but was kind to the strung out people coming in and out. Let alone said we could not have visitors that it was trespassing.

I had a truly awful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, things went downhill quickly. The check-in process was painfully slow, and the staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. When I finally got to my room, it was far from clean — the bathroom was dirty, the towels looked used, and there was a strong musty odor throughout the space. To make matters worse, the air conditioning barely worked, and when I called the front desk for assistance, they never followed up. I barely got any sleep because of the noise from the hallway and thin walls. Housekeeping never came, despite multiple requests. Overall, this stay was disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone — definitely not worth the money or the stress. The smell was just horrible, I finished feeling sick! NEVER AGAIN

Not a family friendly environment. Loud residents, room was clean but needs new beddings. Shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. Police visited more than once that night. I had booked a two night stay, did not stay the second night. Probably won't receive a refund but have asked.

Do not go here as a traveler. Pay a little extra to go to a nicer part of St. Louis. Thin walls and most people at the hotel live there full time. Not in a good area either, assumed that since it was by an airport it would be ok. It is not at all.

The property has not been updated in quite some time. the furniture was old and scratched. The carpet has not been cleaned in quite a while. When the toilet stopped up they told me to come to the office and get a plunger and to return the plunger to the lobby next to the couch. 3 days later it was still sitting next to the couch. The breakfast consisted of thawed frozen bagels and dried out mini muffins, coffee and juice. I've never seen orange juice that shade of orange. No juice one day. The bowl of oranges always had some in it and that was the best part of the breakfast. Not sure what continent they serve that quality of breakfast on but it sure wasn't North America.

Other than being a place to sleep it wasnt really that great. Breakfast wasnt available and the coffee they had available had things floating in it and tasted old. The staff didnt want to communicate unless it involved money or having to move my car. Room had dirty carpets and trashes still full from the previous guest as well as a smelly bathroom and debris present in the shower tub. All the surrounding restaurants were amazing tho. But do better super 8 please

I did not like that there was no breakfast included when the websites said there was. I didn't like that the room cost so much more when it wasn't worth it. And the soda machine was out of almost everything. Just not worth the price.
