San Tommaso Hotel

Don’t stay here unless attending a wedding! During weddings, regular guests are treated as secondary. We were told music would run until 23:00, which was accurate and fine, and our room was pleasant with a lovely terrace. The problem was the overall treatment. From arrival, it was obvious the wedding party took full priority. At the parking area, staff questioned why we were there (it was 14.50 and the check-in was from 15.00) and implied basically to leave and come back later as our arrival coincided with the wedding couple’s. After consultation with reception we were brought Inside, our room wasn’t ready, which happens, but we were first kept in a nearby corridor then moved to a sitting room on the 1st floor, until the room was ready! They put a lot of effort into hiding us! At night the same treatment happened when we returned at 22:00, staff organized a pathway and directed us through a side entrance instead and some part of the hotel to avoid the main entrance and possibly the wedding area. Despite this, the hotel charges full four‑star rates for restricted facilities & the beautiful garden being off‑limits. Why do they have other guests when wedding is their business?! The room itself was fine, though the shower had barely any hot water. The location is inconvenient without a car, and surprisingly, the hotel offers no restaurant or proper bar for any food besides Breakfast. Also the lack of an in‑room coffee/tea maker was inconvenient given the remote setting.

Great place to stay. It's starting to get a little beat up but for the money we'll worth it. Staff and breakfast great.

The room is spacious, very clean and quiet. Staff are very nice. Breakfast is great! Location is perfect!👍

Very nice and beautiful hotel! Very nice room, comfortable, good space and nice architecture. Breakfast is very good, has a very good variety of options, fruits, cereal, breads, very good croissants, and good cakes. Very good option for the area!
