Easy friendly check-in. Room was decent, I just needed a place to sleep for the night on a roadtrip. I love that they take dogs, with no extra fee! This is why I always choose Motel 6's on my roadtrips with my dog. The only thing I didn't like was that the door didn't seem to shut all the way, I would have been more worried if it wasn't for the metal clasp thing that helps to double lock it.

Lots of outside lighting. The office had security cameras. A little further away from highway ensured a quieter sleep. Liked the 100$ deposit to prevent people staying there from illicit dealings.

Convenient location and great price. Hard surface room flooring, which is a high value to me. Clean, comfortable. In response to some of the pool comments, pool water is clean and sparkly. The pool itself might need resurfacing, but the swimming experience is great. Excellent and accommodating service when I called the location and at check in.

This was a good stay. Right where I needed in Redding. Easy to get to and easy to park. It is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, has a pool, and a place to wash laundry (about $5 for wash and dry). My room was spacious and clean. Front desk were nice and polite. Would recommend.

The room we stayed in had a big hole in the wall under the bathroom sink, missing floorboards in the bathroom and room. Door frames missing and broke. Holes in the wall in the room. It was a last minute stay and there was no shampoo to was my hair(I’m a woman) I’m not using the bar soap meant to wash your hands on my hair. The only soap there was, was the bar soap to wash hands to shower with. There was someone else’s hair inside the sheets on the bed. Coffee in the lobby was so low quality that you wouldn’t even have made it in your own house, and the he creamer didn’t even help it taste better. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Unfortunately our room had roaches. The entire room was filthy- like dead bugs everywhere, sticky brown stuff all over the floor.. the microwave was filled with rust. If we hadn’t drove 14 hours we would have left but we were unable to drive anymore. We slept for 4.5 hours and left in the middle of the night around 4:30 am.

Check-in was sketchy, seemed like a scam, had two bookings under my name, tried to check me in for a week even though it was a one night stay. Have never had these issues before with Expedia but the manager said it was their fault. Sheets in room were dirty with dirt/debris on them.

Cons.. Despite there being a no smoking sign on the door my room smelled like an old ash tray. The floor was filthy. There were hairs on the shower floor. I kept my sandals on walking around and in the shower. My clothes absorbed the terrible smell of the room. Pros.. staff was friendly. The sheets and towels looked clean enough. Would never stay here again though.

This was the most disgusting hotel room I've ever stayed in. I touched the mirror and a joint fell out. There were stains and hairs all over the bedding and towels, hair all over the shower, boogers smeared on the wall, some kind of bodily fluid all over the mirrors and TV screen, and just general grime on every surface. The cleaning crew seems to have made the beds and folded the towels and done nothing else for the past 30 years. Genuinely horrifying. Do not stay here.

Easy to find, close to the highway and restaurants. However, the beds were quite noisy and uncomfortable, the heater didn't work well and blew cold air on us off and on all night. The flooring was nice but in the bathroom something that looked like glue kept oozing up between the flooring planks. I had to cover it with a towel so we wouldn't step in it and track it all over.

It was really hot in Redding and the air conditioning in the room barley worked. It didnt keep the room cooled off. Also, i was on a trip with my family and my room was around back over looking a residential part of the motel. I really did not enjoy staying there

The blankets were very thin maybe they thought by adding 3 sheets it would be warmer. Yes there was a heater if it work only blew cold air and it was set at 85 degrees. The water never got hot.

Bad customer service... this guy at the desk wasn't interested at all ... During our trip we stayed at many hotels/motels in California but for some reason this is the only place where they needed id for every guest

Dog(s) sounded like they were upstairs-maybe give them a downstairs room when available-didn’t seem booked as there were parking spaces open late night/early morning. The area seemed a little sketchy. One of the rooms smelled so badly of cigarette smoke we asked to change rooms. But otherwise overall it was clean and the staff was nice.

The motel was close to the freeway and there were plenty of food options nearby. The employee that checked us in was helpful and even gave us dining suggestions. Redding was just a stop in the way and we were able to rest before moving on with our trip

Surprisingly good place to stay for the money. Much cleaner than what I expected. Mini fridge and microwave helps a lot if travel with kids. The only thing to keep in mind, there is a Mexican restaurant next to the hotel which plays loud music on Friday till 1-30am. Other days it was quiet.

Room was clean, tidy, quiet too. No coffee or hair dryer. Numerous restaurants nearby. Costco and grocery etc just 2 minute drive away. Pool area could use a refresh but everything else was great. Thanks!

I like that the employees are courteous, the check in was prompt and they kept the rooms cleaned daily. What we didn't like? Since I'm military, there should be a coffee pots in the rooms and still should have continental breakfast.The beds were soft, needed replacement, very uncomfortable with your back, specially we're in the older groups, it was noisy, you can hear people talking from outside, the smoke was coming into our room. There should be a designated smoking areas, to give respect to others who are trying to quit smoking or who have quit smoking. But in the end, we'll will keep using motel 6 because they all don't have the same rating.

What I like is the check in. It was fast and the motel attendant was courteous and the price wasn't terrible. I would stay in motel 6 again. What I didn't like was, since I stayed for 5 days was, there was no breakfast , no coffee in the room, the other tenants would smoke outside my door and I was smelling what they were smoking in my room, people were loud outside and noisy while they were in the rooms. The beds in my room were soft and hurting my back when I get up in the morning. My wife was complaining because her back was hurting too in the morning. But overall, the room was clean, the employees were courteous and stay was alright. Will I choose to stay in motel 6 again? My answer is, yes, if course! Thank you for this survey,
