Exclusive house. Large garden & pool. Quiet. Walking distance from nice village

Wow!!!! We have just returned from an amazing holiday at La Escribana!!I booked this villa for 15 of us (9 adults and 6 children) for 5 nights for my husband’s 50th birthday celebration and we had a brilliant time. The booking process was seamless and the host was responsive and very helpful. The house is surrounded by lush greenery and a 10 min walk into town though a steep climb for a bit so might not be suitable for all.The house is cosy and tastefully decorated with multiple spaces to relax including outdoors. The kitchen and dining area was the hub for us all to gather together whilst we did some cooking. There are supermarkets in town and Trady’s will deliver! There is a great butchers for Iberian meats and we bought some yummy stuff for my husband’s birthday barbecue party in the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need to have a very comfortable stay. Bedrooms were comfortable with big beds, storage space and most with en-suites. The pool was big enough for us all and cleaned regularly. There is a room outside which holds loads of toys and a washing machine/dryer which again made it feel like a home away from home!The children had an amazing time with access to games, even hide and seek in the massive gardens!Lola and Fernando are the caretakers and were fantastic and very responsive via WhatsApp.Constantina is a quaint village with bars and cafes and we even did a day trip to Seville. La Escribana did not disappoint! :)

Such a fabulous place to stay! It was just perfect! Walking distance from the town, everything we needed in the house and such an idyllic setting! The house keeper and her husband were incredibly helpful and so attentive. Literally nothing to complain about. Would absolutely recommend!

Het huis met bijgebouw en prachtige grote tuin is fantastisch voor een onbezorgde vakantie ter plaatse, Het stadje Constantinopel heeft een fijne supermarkt maar verder niet veel te bieden. Voor interessante uitstapjes is een trip naar Sevilla of Cordoba echt noodzakelijk, als je de afstand, ruim een uur rijden, geen probleem vindt.

L'endroit est très sympa et très bien entretenu. Lola et son mari nous ont très bien accueillis. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques, la pelouse un vrai bonheur et la maison est grande et décorée avec gout. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine, merci beaucoup

We had a fantastic stay at La Escribana. The house is perfect and the garden is very spacious and verdant. The couple that look after the property, Lola and Fernando, are extremely attentive and were a real pleasure to meet- they attended every day to sort the pool and tend the immaculate garden and were always happy to offer suggestions for local bars, restaurants, trips, etc. Maarten, the owner of the property, was in communication from the start and was very responsive and helpful dealing with any queries. Constantina is a pleasant, working agricultural town which does not get many tourists. The property is outside the village itself, is only a 10 min walk away and has all the amenities you may need- a good range of supermarkets/food shops and plenty of bars with excellent food. Sevilla and Cordoba are about an hour's drive away, the lovely city of Carmona 45 mins. We would highly recommend and would love to go back again.
