Super 8 by Wyndham Allentown Kutztown Area

Clean but looks nothing like photos. Very outdated, old interior and furnishings. Could hear every sound coming from hallway and other rooms. No amenities available such as refreshments for purchase or morning coffee.

Dirty, stinky, and not maintained very well. The beds seemed okay...no obvious filth in them, but the bathroom tub was dirty—so dirty that my 9 year old refused to shower there (and his standards are pretty low, compared to the rest of us!). The room smelled terrible upon arrival and the smell came back every time the AC wasn't actively running. We arrived late at night, so check in involved a virtual attendant, but she was friendly unlike the actual attendant who was there the next day. She literally chose not to speak to us as we came down to the lobby in the morning. To have such shabby accommodations AND ignore guests? Unacceptable! You could have at least tried to be pleasant or ask how our stay was or if we needed anything. Or even just smiled or acknowledged us. So rude. Ice machine...coffee machine...everything in this place seemed to be in need of repairs or deep cleaning, often both. I couldn't wait to get out of there. We chose this motel because we literally only needed a bed for the night while on the road to NY, and this is all I could find under $150. I saw pictures of the rooms online...how bad could it be? Well, now I have an answer: very bad. It was my first and last time at a Super 8.

Just a quick overnight stay. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean.
