4 out of the last 5 times we have stayed here there was no cart available to get our luggage to our room. This is not the hotel's fault - but guests who are not considerate to other guests who need the carts as well.

They had a small indoor pool, and hot tub area. The pool room had 2 singular washrooms, with showers included. Next door was a small gym room. My boyfriend enjoyed starting his morning there. The room was cozy, it had a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. It was such a cute stay! There was also breakfast available near the lobby until 11:00. The people who worked the front desk were super nice too, such a comfortable visit.

I liked that it was small and we were able to have a room on the first floor. The staff was good; little disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was dirt and hair on the floor-I did like the layout of the room and bathroom. The dining room was convenient; breakfast was okay. Price was good.

When we checked into the hotel there was a group of teenaged boys staying there and our room was next to one of theirs. They were getting rowdy and raising a lot of noise, so we went down to the desk and asked the manager for a room change and she gladly accommodated us. Our new room was very quiet and clean and the breakfast in the morning was hot, plentiful and delicious. This hotel is well maintained and expertly managed, will definitely stay here again.

Be warned, this property will not correct errors made when Expedia books the room. They did not give me the room I booked because on their system it was wrong. They will not move you to the correct room or refund your stay. walls are thin, could hear neighbors. Breakfast was boring and cheap compared to other hotels. It was juice, coffee, cereal, the waffles you can make, gross looking muffins and bagels. We went out to eat after walking through. Disappointing. Toilet paper roll gets wet when you take a shower. beds are hard. You can get a mattress topper though and that helped. The mattress topper is the only thing I csn say was better than neutral.

The staff corrected a problem Expedia made when they sent the booking over to the hotel. I booked a room with 2 Queens, but Expedia sent them a single King booking; the clerk and I confirmed this. He was very helpful and moved us into a double. If it's important that you get a particular kind of room, I recommend calling the property to confirm the booking was sent to them properly. By the way, nice place but bring your own pillows:)

When I arrived it was snowing. I parked in a spot, where it seemed like it was shoveled and I would have no issues getting in and out of the parking spot. When I went to start my car and wanted to leave the premises, I notice I was plowed in. I tried backing my car out of the spot, but got stuck. I went to the front desk and I told the gentleman at the front desk. He asked me why I parked there and he told me where the shovel was because he has no time to shovel me out. I found him to be rude and abnoxious. My room smelled of marijuana. When I had told the front desk, again the gentleman told me it was from the CBD store next door and he couldn't do anything about it. My friend's rooms toilet had urine all over the toilet and again the gentleman had said that the room was inspected before she was given her keycard. And she must have had an accident. Her room also smelled of smoke.

This property is conveniently located within walking distance (w/in a mile) of the train station, restaurants, a Target, and a grocery store. There are sidewalks for walking which is nice. The property is old but with some upgrades. The room was large and comfortable. One of my favorite parts is that the windows open for fresh air when needed. The other is that there was a bathtub, not just a shower. Room 208.

This is the second time we've stayed at Country Inn in Crystal Lake. It didn't disappoint. The rooms are roomy, clean, well cared for. Beds are comfortable, many pillows. It's location is close to everything which was great! Breakfast was not amazing, but got us started in the AM - bonus that it was open an hour later on holidays! We will be back!

I always try to stay at this hotel when I come into town, even if it's a little farther drive to the stops I have to make. It is still convenient to the Northwest suburbs and O'Hare. The surrounding location is clean, safe, and quiet. It has easy parking and plenty of places to dine nearby. The staff is always polite and courteous.

Originally booked a king suite with hot tub for the family to all use. Check in wasn’t bad. As soon as we opened the door you could smell moisture…. Come to see a sign on the hot tub, temporarily out of order. Okay, but what about the smell? Take my flip flops and it’s definitely wet. Go to front desk and they say the hot tub hasn’t been working for months and I’m the first person to suggest wet carpeting. There is absolutely nothing he can do, but change to double queen. Not ideal but whatever. Go into the pool with my child and I question what is on the floor of the pool? Is the cement breaking? Nope, there is so much salt in the pool you can scoop it up off the floor. Cost and amenities suggest you could do better.
